Thread: Test Center Update Notes (#2) Mar 11, 2004
Corellian Corvette: Made another set of changes to reset the corvettes properly.
Door visuals: The player now keeps a door open when within range of the door but not moving.
Door/camera interaction: The camera now maintains its distance behind a player when walking through a doorway when the camera has line of sight to the player.
Loading Screens: Fixed "box-characters" in new several of the loading screen tips.
UI: Mission browser is no longer able to be left open across the planet.
Misc: Fix to Prefect Talmont's conversation to make it a little more clear if you don't have enough imperial faction.

I'm not sure how it happened but the radial menu is now inconsistent. The radial each time would come up and rotate but when you clicked what you wanted off the menu, it wouldnt take it. No error messages or anything in the spatial chat. The various commands were in different positions. I was able to call my med droid out of the datapad. I was able to pull an item out of a crate in my inventory. I had the most problems when it was a double stacked menu item, such as use self/use target. I could get the first option for use on target to work, but not use on self. On the backpacks, I could open in the same window but not in a new window, which is what i normally do.

Indeed. One of the changes seems to have broken radial menus. We are working on a fix.

In some loading screens they added, there were spaces or some letter the game was misinterpreting so that they looked like this:
"Blah BlahBcah cadda ycdda yadda c c"
They made those boxes not show up, so that the messages were readable.
If they turned off harvester animation because of low end systems they should add a toggle in the options to allow us to turn it on for high end systems. I know I never had any problem with harvester animations unless I came to a field of 50 smoking personal harvesters.
At the very least I should always be able to see my own harvesters animating so that I can tell whether they are running or not without clicking on each one first. I can only see my own harvesters animating right after I turned them on now and that's just about the only time I don't need to see if they are working since I already know that I just turned them on.

I am so happy with the doors not fluttering with every move. I ran back and forth attempting to get the camera to clip (space) into a doorway with no success. Excellent work![]()
