They wont admit the Mark of Intellect BH spawn is broken.

Devs, please let slip the spawn rate on this as countless people have been camping known spawn locations and there hasnt been a sighting of the BH in days. Is it a daily spawn? Is it a weekly spawn?

Any help would be nice, but travelling from city to city for the past 3 days with no BH spawn is not my idea of fun.......

If my experience on Ahazi is any indication, this is a broken spawn.

I gotten up at server reset (I'm on the west coast of the US) three straight days, and there has been no sign of this spawn at any of the locations. I've spoken with players who have shuttled around from Bestine to Mos Eisley to Mos Espa to Mos Entha, and then swooped to Mos Taike, and no sign of the spawn in any of these five cities, and this is right after server reset.

Rumor has it that the spawn has not been seen on Ahazi since the end of June (about the time of the Jedi-uber-alles pub 9).

It's broken on Starsider too... but they have acknowledged that it's broken.. . now they just need to fix it!

I like the quest its very interesting to see all the types of skills needed to complete it. Good job devs.

The only problem is most of the skills needed to complete it are combat skills, I guess non-combat professionals should know better than to try and be hero's.

The main skill I'm working on is more patience while waiting for a BH to spawn, it seems completely different than all the other spawns in this quest (other than the hermit) who spawn in random locations. Sure the BH spawns in random cities, but always in the same location, it seems to breed the kind of camping that was supposed to be avoided with this game.

Yes I would like to know too. I heard on other forums that once he spawns he just keeps walking. The problem is he moves out of the area. In that perticular case they found it way over near Bestine. Can you have him after a certain timeout despawn and then randomly spawn at one of the other waypoints.

Thanks,
Ben

I just finished all four of the quests last night... BOY WAS IT MIND NUMBING

Well worth it for the reward though.....

Mark of Altruism -- Man was the farmer difficult to find

Mark of Intellect -- By Far the Easiest

Mark of Courage -- Took a While to find the boar even with WP's in Datapad

Mark of Honor -- Took me 3 hours to find that stupid Pirate Leader then it was easy

This is not a quest this a big waste of time. Time that could be used on more real tangible things that you need in game. If you have copmpleted everything else in the game and have nothing else better to do then go for it. Otherwise stay away from this one it will just get you aggrivated! On the side of being constructive because I do have some choice words I'd like to use but I won't.

Either this is true or I am just seriously bugged and am not able to find that f**king farmer! I have been out there six times each for like 3 hours. I have tried all of these ideas to find this unholy piece of crap:

1) Riding from waypoint to waypoint on my swoop.

2) Walking from waypoint to waypoint.

3) Riding my swoop along the mountains surrounding the main valley.

4) Walking along the mountains surrounding the main valley.

5) Killing every mob spawn in the region.

6) Sitting still overwatching a few of the waypoints.

7) Brought friends along to overlap our scans.

8) Tried all different times of the day.

9) /dance about the area cuz I WAS FRICKEN BORED!!!

10) Read and reread and double-checked and triple-checked and scanned and skimmed and leafed through and studied every guide I could find on this part of the quest.

My conclusions are that thisquest is a) meant for those who are extremely lucky or who have nothing else better to do b) really, really, really, really bugged or c) just some big practical joke the devs thought would get them a few laughs while pissing off everyone else in the process.
