i have seen many jedi while out hunting and everyone of them has had a small entourage and without exception each has been a powergaming mission stealing jerk. just like the jedi from the movies. maybe it is bad luck but somehow i dont think so. more power to the BH to hunt these slime down and perma kill them. i am going to start writing the names of jedi down and posting em on the BH boards as targets to clean em off the server.
just doing my part to keep the galactic roach under control.
Nice video, thought the way Jedi was introducedinto the game(to put it bluntly) blows. It caters to only one type of player and I do hope there are a fixes inplace to allow all types of playstyles to become force sensitive. Cause while I am not going to go out of my way to become FS I would eventually like the opportunity to play a jedi.
Question for TH though. It has bene a week and a half since you said we would have a update on professions. Just wondering if you are going to get to them today or will we have to wait till the first of next week?
That's awesome looking, and quite a carrot. Wonder how the playerbase will react in six months as the slower "achievers" start achieving the prerequisites to open FS slots in ever-greater numbers, and yet the organic system limits the number that receive that FS slot. Not to be a harbinger of doom, but rather just offering food for thought.

**edit**, I didn't want to be a jedi before I saw this. Now I have to play even more.....

Well, maybe it is time to grow up. Most people have pointed out two things:
1. The video is in Quicktime, and not in Mediaplayer format. I personally would not care less, but some people are actually at work and therefore cannot install QT.
2. The method for unlocking the FSS is absolutely bollocks. It is not an achievement to powergrind to most of the professions that the holocron proposes. Most of them can be afk macroed up. However, I don't see how they want to keep the population of Jedis in game artificially low? Someone who really wants it just needs to seclude himself somewhere and grind for two weeks, and *tadaaaa* another Jedi is born. It has also been pointed out that people who want to RP can never become Jedis, as they have molded a character that they like and will not ruin it for an FSS. So these folks are standing out in the rain??
Btw: This was not what I expected when the devs where asked what the FSS was all about. Their explanations painted a picture of it being a task that is achievable by everyone, even though it might be hard to do. What do we find out? Powergrinding solvles the problem, and those that play the game, complete the good quests, etc are ignored. Oh well...
umm..ehm....ummhmm.....*runs off to finish 3rd holo prof*
Oh mi gosh!! thats just crazy
