Quick follow-up to this:

  • Applying an anti-decay kit to a lightsaber will prevent the crystals inside from decaying.

  • You can remove the crystals.

  • You can get an anti-decay kit back if you delete the lightsaber you applied it to.

This is completely unfair to the non-jedi population. You've basically just given jedi 4 anit-decay kits instead of one.

Really? The 35% Damage sliced VK's that others are using them on are made of vibromotors and a few other components..... I think more than 4.

How many Krayt tissues in your guns will be protected too?

Seem to recall it took 11 tissues for a T-21 (10 for the gun 1 for the schem)

funny how people don't say such things for NS energy lances and other rare weaponry. Those require more rare components than lightsabers.

/sigh another "jedi get all the good deals" person. we don't get all the good deals. In this case, we're getting a fair deal just like everyone else.

Waaaaa.... go spend a few million on a weapon component only to find out it's crap and see how much it sucks.... oh wait, better idea... shutup and put yours on the exception or legandary weapon you can loot.

I'm sorry for asking a question where the answer was implied ... but I just cant believe its true...

So the crystals/pearls can be removed...

-> and presumably replaced...

New replacements will be protected from decay as long as they are in the origional saber shell - or the anti-decay moves with the pearls?

Yes. Anything in the lightsaber should be immune to decay.

This is great Cal, thanks for the information! My Jedi will finally be able to use the Sunrider's Destiny color crystal without fear of it decaying away! Plus those Crystals/Pearls too!
