The in game chat works fine! thank you very much!


But, Would anybody please fix the chat rooms where you log in......


you get more then 25 people talking at one time in General chat... or anyother and it crashes to desktop.....

I have this problem with the chat. When I do a tell or reply after I hit /tell or /reply and begain to type the curses jumps behind the / tell or /reply making you have to take the time to reset it to the place to begin typing your message. If you don't watch carefully you will get part of what you need to say already typed before you notice it. Once in a while when send a short reply I will even hit send before I see the error and have to do the reply over again.

IMHO SWG needs to revamp its /r system!


/r and i have no idea what person i'm sending a tell to


Since i would like to wear my Master Tag so people could see me and ask me for what they need I really need a way to run thru the list of tells i have gotten..


sorry to say it but EQ has a great tell system, you can "tab" thru your recieved tells untill you find the one you are trying to answer a question for. I had to drop my Master Tag because i looked rude because i could not answer my tellssometimes. I can not remember how to spell most names on SWG let alone spell 10 + names of people that I have never seen and sent me tells in the last 3 min.


It takes forever to try to scroll up and find who sent tells and what they wanted.


so a system like /r (shows name) "tab" (showing next name)would be very helpful to many in SWG i'm sure.

At approximately 11am on Jan 16, I was hunting on talus with another friend of mine when we no longer could see each other although we were both within range. The fix for this has been to do a quick disconnect and re-enter the game.


Upon doing so, we were able to see each other once again however the group channel was no longer working. I could not see my own chat, nor my other party members. All other basic channels checked out (/gu /say /shout /tell)


Chat still needs some work it would seem.

My problem is that when going to a secondary or creating a new channel i never get the chat tab on the 1st try. So i end up leaving and coming back in or if creating a channel it destroys it and then i have to relog to even get the option to try again. I realize this is a minor issue but nonetheless aggravating.

Unless what you're recommending is for the system toautomatically fill in the last /teller's name as soon as you hit the [spacebar] after typing "/r", it's not a change.

I had a problem two nights ago with guild chat. After travelling to Yavin 4 I couldnt see any responses to guild chat, yet I was able to send messages to guild chat.I keep guild chat in a separate window from spatial (to keep up with guild chat while travelling through the SPAM towns), so

I had a problem two nights ago with guild chat. I agree on many of the suggestions made.


1. "Channel Update" needs to be removed it's useless to us and serves no functional purpose. If there is some reason for it to stay at least make it an option to turn off "Channel Update."


2. We need persistent chats. It's great that we can create private chats and such but it could be so much better if these chats were persistent meaning that they continue to exist even if the owner of the channel logs off. This can also serve as a city chat or anything else people want. For example, the mayor or whoever creates a chat and people of that city can join. I think persistent chats are very important because they will increase many players enjoyment of the game. Multiple people can converse with each other without being in a group or in a space near each other. The possibilities are endless where you can have all sorts of persistent chats. Friends can chat with each other while they're playing. People from different guilds who have alliances can chat together. Business chats can be setup to conduct business more efficiently. If this does go into effect please make this very flexible. Meaning players want options. Private rooms, Public rooms, Invites, Moderators, Banlists, Title Names, etc.


3. Like the others saidthe tell system needs to be slightly improved. If you're some type of crafter doing large orders for all kinds of players and getting several tells at once it's very hectic. There needs to be some way to simplify the system and make it robust and flexible. I've never played EQ but it sounds like the suggestions made by previous posters are a good idea.

well sorry to say but so 100% bugfree is the chatserver not. for now over 2 weeks we have on gorath a problem with the channel "gercom". it is permanetly there but noone can enter it, including the one that is signed as creater. it cant be deleted or made new....
