My entire TC character was copied perfectly, except I got no Jedi skills whatsoever. Just copied over, no crafting kit, survey tool, no force sensitive skills. I'm frustrated. I hope TC2 is reset and ALL the characters that were copied over to test Jedi get to. P.S. posted this in the gameplay thread, my mistake. Didn't mean to double post, but makes more sense here. My character is there, but the power selection window just didn't come up for me. Tried relogging and all.

Ack.
I just created a new artisan on TC2 (non-jedi) and didn't land with a crafting tool or helper droid.
Something is wonky here.

The lack of ability to survey is rather annoying. No warning was given, so I didn't bother to train Artisan. Halfway though my skillpoint spending, the window dissapeared. I have tools, but can't use them. Without resources, I can't make a saber. Its rather hard to test the system when you can't even do the basic things necessary to be a Jedi.

Alciril, does this mean I need to give up all my normal skills or is this a bug?
It's a bug.

Welp, found out a new problem. The trainers in theed ask me if I want to be an initiate, and the trainers in coronet say they've got nothing I'd be interested in learning.

People who've created second and third characters on TC2 have said that they're non-Jedi characters(and have no skills or tutorial, in fact). Deleting your character and recreating one with the same name will probably remove your Jedi flag, so I probably wouldn't risk it right now.
Will do! Thanks for the info. Guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday to figure this out. They should have written a tutorial or something telling us some BASIC info at the very least. Trying to test a new system while flying blind is not quite the right method of doing things.

My game keeps crashing repeatadly. Every time I start it I do a full scan. So for i have taken a grand total of 3 steps in any direction before it crashes. When I first got on I did get to select all of my skills, but then it crashed and i got the previous problem.

Ok, so i log in in the TC2 and my char from TC1 was here, exactly the same...mmm...maybe i' missing something. Why did you copy my char from TC1 in TC2 if i dont have a jedi? :S i think i played the days to be a jedi, but i'm not sure. But, where is the purpose to play in TC2 with a non jedi character? really amazing test, indeed
