So, if I read the posts correctly, the
way to become glowy is by certain badges.
I have already done the Imp themepark,
Jabba's themepark, just for fun. The person
a few posts above said they went from faint to
glowy with the jabba quest badge.. does that mean
I, who am alost faint have only one badge to be
eligible? Im not expecting you to tell me the badge,
just perhaps an idea or someway to figure it out. Or is it
determined by total numbers of badges, maybe some count
more than others? And is the step from faint straight to
glowy? Anyone?

I know this is confusing to everyone as it is to me. I guess the only question I want answered is how long do I have to wait. I've been playing this game since November and I have sticked to Armorsmith and Teras Kasi. I was told the new system would be purely quest, so I didn't hologring. Now, you're telling me I needed to hologrind to do the quests? lol...that is bull crap. I still want to know if I must wait day/weeks/months until I start so I know whether or not to be on the lookout constantly. You can't hide from us forever TH

Thank you for the response, but could you quickly append this with a bit more information:
Will BOTH PlayerA and PlayerB get a visit WITHIN 3 DAYS?
Will PlayerA or PlayerB either have a TIME ADVANTAGE?
Is 'Glowy' an EXPLICIT SIGN of 'QUALIFICATION'

Just for further clarification on - Player B has met all the requirements of the new path before publish 10.
So does that means that if you were effectively glowy before patch 10 that you are in the automatic group? Or is that just the people that unlocked between 9 and 10?

Are you surethe Old Manis working? I have been scouring the boards looking for anyone that has been visiteb by the old man, and nothing. I flew to Dath and went to the village and cirled around it, I have yet to find anyone there who has been visited. Do you have a way to tell if it is working? And do you have a way to show us that it is working?

And why do you keep deleting the posts i make about how angry I am TH? Am i not entitled to be angry? I dont use bad langage, im not throwing personal insults. But I can start if you want me to give you a reason to delete my posts instead of trying to shush up any points i make.

I UNLOCKED ON AUG 20TH, AND HAVE ALMOST 100 BADGES, THE CHECKFORCE SAYS THE FORCE IS WITHIN ME, I HAVE SAT AROUND ALL DAY NO VISIT FROM THE OLD MAN. I AM WONDERING WHY NOT CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. OH AND ON ANOTHER NOTE WHEN HE DOES EVENTUALLY SHOW UP SO I CAN ACTIVATE A SECOND CHARACTOR I'LL HAVE TO PLAY THAT CHARACTOR SO I CAN OPERATE MY VENDERS AND MAKE A LIVING CRAFTIING.

The message you get when you do /check to check where you are along the route to getting old man to visit you. Is it based on the new system only or is it taking into account where you where pre-patch 10 ?

Thunderheart, is it part of your job to give us info or not?
Because I'd appreciate it if you were a little less economical with your info in your posts.
If I logged on today as a glowy, am I player B? If so, is player B in the automatic group?

Great, another non answer. What we need and have repeatedly asked for is the knowledge of where we fall into the groups. I'm glowy and have grinded a lot of professions, but obviously the 18 after my silent holo may be worthless, if I was real unlucky which I usually am. So I need to know if I can expect a visit in the next week, or two months from now. This is the information we as players need. We have been jerked around so many times with so many different hollow promises by you guys, we need a solid answer. I know SOE is only in it for our money, but hopefully someone on your staff actually cares about the players. We need an answer to see if we have been screwed again, or if this game is worth me spending another $15 on.

Sorry, TH, but it is NOT clear. What about players that met new path requirements AFTER publish 10 hit live servers (i.e today)? Are we eligible for grandpa's visit in 1-3 days?
