Thread: Friday Feature March 19th Wookiee Armor Concept Art
Funny you should mention that. The thought of dropping BH and specializing in wookiee armor has crossed my mind.

Bummer.
Nah. It's just he has to rip half the armor off to use a restroom and he's trying to hold it.
Honestly, the posture IS ridiculous, but it DOES show most of the elements in a single frame. No need for a second drawing to see the sideview, though the back is still a mystery.
man, why didn't you guys just add resists to their natuaral skins. No need for armor, and as they build their character up, and dependent on the profession they choose, they will increase their resists each lvl.
ahh well...
Although the full suit looks a little funny to me, I am imaginging having a wookie that just has the chest plate and forearms. I think that would be EXTREMELY neat.
Also, realize that concept art and what is drawn is sometimes different. I would imagine that they would 'smooth' it a bit out in order to make things easier to texture.
Go for it. I've already got enough resources in my house/factories and schematics in my datapad. If the stuff requires it's own set of named resources then I doubt I'll bother with it. Unless of course no one else is, at which point I'll charge through the nose for it.

I sorta like it... just wondering what it looks like in game and what will be the protection (since Q says it's low-end armor)?
Also, I hope we don't have to wait weeks more before getting "real" armor protection.
lol, that is what it reminds me of! friggin awesome, we have the invasion of the scarecrows coming to SWG soon...wonder if they will make a wallpaper for us?

reminds me of Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz...
Concerning finding a set due to armorsmiths hating organics. I have this vision of this stuff being cultural.
Of wookie armorsmiths making the stuff for wookies, and the rest of the armorsmith community, MAYBE, providing components.
