  4. What location (coordinates) were you at when you experienced this issue? any location on Dath
  5. Please list a full description of the problem you experienced (Full details needed here folks!) creatures warp when they are almost dead to 100m or more
  6. Reproducible Steps: This is very important in helping us isolate exactly where the problem is. Fight rancors any where on the planet once they are almost dead they will try and walk away. They will warp before you can kill them. Some times they disappear making you lose XP.

You can even contact me in the game and I will reproduce it.

perhaps a BH had an old mission... perhaps these missions are not deleted?

Yet another patch almost exclusivley for Jedi.....


There are other professions in this game in need of some attention as well. Smugglers are very vocal about their problems, other are very quiet. Anyone ever seen the Ranger's? All of their skills have been completely negated by additions. When was the last time anyone has actually see a camp since vehicles came out? Why be a Master Ranger when a Novice Scout/Elite Combat with Veghash can out harvest you? And whats the point of terrain negotiation when you have a swoop? Tracking is pretty much useless and Traps have never worked right!


It's been months now of nothing but Jedi! For an "Ultra-Rare Profession" there sure do seem to be a lot running around! Here's a solution to all of the Jedi, Grinding and Visibility issues...just remove the rotten class from the game!!

Remember that the players who had Jedi NEVER asked for any revamps, so take your issues up with the Devs. They are the ones who decided to change the path of becoming a Jedi (publish 10) to stop holo-grinding to "save" the entire community of SWG. They are the ones who decided to change the actual profession of Jedi (publish 9), which really only needed some minor adjustments like any other profession out there to make it more viable (WE never asked for a full revamp). They are the ones who "broke" the profession in this process and jacked around with the sensitivity and player bounty system to the point that it nowmakes the profession unplayable due to endless loss of experience.


2. If you wish to take your issue up with Devs, do it in PMs, and focus threads about development priorities (In Development and In Concept forums), and work with your correspondent to bring attention to your profession. Sand bagging every focus thread with your rants is not going to solve your issues.


3. If your profession was as completely unplayable as what the Jedi is experiencing due to recent changes, you would be expecting this type of focus as well.

Tral - I wouldn't worry about the entertainer thing to long. Jedi will go away soon enough. If you don't belive me you should read the issues being posted here. I have an issue with clearing jedi visibility without fixing the bugs which we all knew are there.


However - Tiggs did something amazing here. We should all thank Tiggs for it - Tiggs got a Saturday update. As far as I know this is a first - never before have I seen so many updates in a week - and even one on a weekend day. Honestly I wouldn't be supprised if we see a post from Tiggs today (Sunday). Go Tiggs go!

Would you care to test out a 400 year old sword to see if it's decayed to condition 0? All the prior testers have no comment. Perhaps a gun which was used in WW I and still fires with high accuracy upto 1km?

If that doesn't get you, then start reading current military specifications for combat equipment.

/bug Done in game.


This issue surfaced I believe with 10.3, but the 10.3 issues thread I posted in previously seems to have been deleted. I have some more info on what happened so am posting again.


1. Downer

2. Chilastra

3. Tattoine, but any planet will do.

4. anywhere

5. There is a way to become permanently TEFd to a bounty hunter. Even after several server resets a bounty hunter still has a TEF to me without having a mission.

6. All parties involved are the same faction, imperial. The BH got a mission on me and then dropped it without attacking me. He then got a mission on a friend Jedi and attacked him. I used /stopbleed and /transferforce on the Jedi and became TEFd to the BH. The BH now has a perma TEF on me and can attack me whenever he wants.

This happened again today and now another Jedi in our guild is perma TEFd to this BH.


Please resolve this issue asap, it is a very bad bug.

Ok here we go this is 2x in 2 days. I am a noob Jedi very new. I have 0010 LS. I was out hunting bolle Bols today from a mission terminal that is away from a city (it was placed away so jedis wouldnt gain vis in town from npcs). And Oh my goodness to my surprise another BH come out of nowhere and kills me!! Yee Haa!! another 64k xp lost (128k in 2 days I have lost more xp in the last 2 days than I have gained). So I was on the boards again after being DBed by a BH yesterday and that was after I was cleared off the boards from the devs I did nothing to get back on the boards I even played it extra safe today.

I want my 128k xp back I feel like I am being penelized for the Devs screw up.

I also sent in a /bug report that got me nothing and I sent in a csr report and that got me a canned response. Customer service heh buggest oxy MORON in this game. I thought they supposed to help but instead they make me want to quit. Sad thing is it is us that Pay the salries of the CSRS and the Devs. I sent in yet another CSR ticket after todays events and Im going to wait and see if they send another canned reponse if they do I am quitting and I am pullin my 4 acounts with me. I know I dont have it as bad as the other guys that have some very high xp loss but I am jsut sick and tired of being lied to and then nothing being done to make it better.

Holy crap! Someone who ive never seen on the ranger boards actually remembers that we (Raangers) exist! Yeah, weve put out tons of 5-6 page proposals for Ranger/SL revamp ideas, and..gah, well, just visit the ranger boards to see what we have in mind. It will make Ranger fun. And, give the smugglers their revamp already! And entertainers! Im grinding jedi, but i dont want the rest of the game to die because I want jedi to be completely fixed. If i get jedi, but no one plays anymore, what will my jedi accomlishment be worth? We need all classes to be fixed, GET TO WORK DEVS!

The fact is not that we spit on Jedi, we may or may not like them, they are aprofession as any other, BUT : we are rather angry after the devs who, as you pointed decided to do a revamp, broke the profession and jacked around. As far as any other profession is concerned, jedi is too much loved, and the other are too much betrayed, that's what make us sick. That's not the Jedi (even if, as an indvidual, i find there far too much out there).
And by the way, if you wanna try a real tre unplayable profession, what do you think of a smuggler that doesn't smuggle, of a squad leader that doesn't lead or a ranger that is useless? or a pistoleer that has no special. Those are profession broken since launch, or getting worse patch after patch, and these are profession no dev cares about. These are unplayable professions, Jedis works, BH works, interaction doesn't, maybe we could see that point later?




2. If you wish to take your issue up with Devs, do it in PMs, and focus threads about development priorities (In Development and In Concept forums), and work with your correspondent to bring attention to your profession. Sand bagging every focus thread with your rants is not going to solve your issues.



If you really think that we don't worl with our correspondant to get some attention, maybe you should wonder why most of them are leaving, not only leaving their place as a correspondant, but also leaving the game. Is it because the devs are attentive to what they say? I let you guess.




3. If your profession was as completely unplayable as what the Jedi is experiencing due to recent changes, you would be expecting this type of focus as well.



If your profession was made of 4 branches, the first one needing you to be a colonel in a faction, and thus preventing neutrals to play it, the second one random and broken by both exploiters and lazy devs, the third one almost useless, unless you use it as a complement for another (which is broken too) and the fourth one killed by a previous revamp and a silent nerf; then you would be expecting to have some attention. SInce all these points are expressed, similarily acknoledged by devs and forgotten just after, we, as smugglers (or at least I, as smuggler) feel the right and the duty to recall the devs to their job. They have introduced a bug in publish 10, perfectly knowing it, they told it would be fixed in a mini publish, that's the fourth mini publish, guess what? it's not fixed, so it's a bug in the mini publish.






Yes, i'm a bit angry, i just love the game as much as anybody, i'm just fed up to see that since the first holocron got opened, the devs don't care about anything alse but jedi. i don't care what might happen to them, but i care what happens to all the other proffesions, the ones that actually make the galaxies go round, with crafters, fighters, healers and people making both ends meet. What is in need here is not a revamp or whatever, not right now, we know it will occur on september 2017, what we need here is some attention, like you know when you give your dog a bone after lunch. We don't feel it's too much asking. We want wome communication something that could be done, let's say by a community relations assitant, or manager? We wxant some news about what is planned, we want to know that they do think of us sometimes. That's what is lacking, and that's why we (or at least I) are vocal, and will be more and more vocal.

Oh jez its happening again the jedi "whhhhhhhhhhinnnniiiinnng" You guys know you exploit the seeker bug and ive seen it on my friends list on login. So don't cry about you toonbeing on the terms within 45min after the clearing. The devs did the clearing of the terms you did the stupid and pulled your LS out or hit a NPC so get over it. As for the bh's we will always be nerfed but always the one standing over the corpse of a fresh jedi kill.

I have had a re-occuring issue since Publish 10.4 I will paste in my bug/trouble ticket report.


Hello again,

I am stuck again for the 3rd time in the last two days. I am receiving the message "You can not move because your inventory is overloaded" but each time this happens my inventory is NOT overloaded. I am on the Naritus server. I am on the planet of Naboo. My current location is -3856, 4107.


My inventory is currently 46/60. The first time I sent in a ticket concerning this issue I did not receive a response for 9 hours. I gave up on receiving any help for this issue & had my husband kill me because I was so desperate to be free. I can not trade while in this state. It appears to me that there must be some type of ghosting issue happening. The second time this occured I had room in my backpack to rearrange things & free myself. I am losing my patience with this issue & I will not be killed to work around this bug again. But I can not & will not sit here for 9 hours waiting for CS.


I do want this investigated ASAP. My husband is having the same problem & logged out of frustration. So now 2 of our 4 accounts are useless. There is a very serious issue happening & we need your help.

My husband & I seem to be experiencing inventory ghosting. This seems to happen everytime we move something around in an container (backpacks, satchels, & cargo pockets). I am a tailor so I store many matching serial number components in a nameable container so it's easier for me to make schematics. I have done this since the dropped components were intoduced in Publish 6. What appears to be happening is once I use the items, put them in the factory, & pick up the next bag....the system has a delayed reation & will not let me move (even though my inventory is not full). I have deleted the bags in between trying to avoid this issue & it does not seem to help. We also placed a new house this weekend as we were moving items into it there was disappearing items. Something very serious seems to be going on & I am very upset that that CS only response to me (after the first time) was sorry.

Actually, I've had this issue for a long time now (estimate: 4 months). Only my orange dots are to the North East...

But: This issue is related to my local instalation, it is not a bug that can be fixed via bothering the devs. :-P When using my computer, I have this issue, and have to use either rote memorazation or the drop-down list to travel. When I use my brothers computer, however, this issue doesn't exist, and I can use the travel terminals normally. (and my computer is technically better than his). I am theorizing that a re-installation of SWG will fix it, but I have not gotten around to it in 4 months...

hehe, problem is I left it too long and now it doesn't bother me enough to fix it. :-)



This bug seems to be caused when playing the game at 1280x 1024 resolution. (it was discussed in the Tech Forum months ago).

Nym's mission is still broke for me but this might have happened in 10.2 or 10.3 or something

But since i'm here...
Imperial Alert! Jedi are ALL OVER every server getting whacked by Bounty Hunters! If you check Star Wars book #5675 "Attack of the Phantom Hunters Menacing the Cloning Jedi" you will see that this is very consistent with the Star Wars universe.

Thrawn's Hand was a good book too.
Available in 2005 is "The Hitchikers guide to Galaxies, Grinding the right way"

Oh and Harvesters and stuff don't animate still <---my pet peeve
