Dam does that mean for us to kill TH we have to go rebel?
Sounds like it is gonna be a really good time. And look forward to helping make sure that all the bugs are worked out.
Lol, light and dark does not necessarily mean Imp and Reb. It's more like toast, that has a light and a dark side.... wait its more like underwear with a light an... no no, like a planet, yeah a planet has a light and a dark side... till they invent lights and cities, ok so its nothing like any of these, so there plbbth.
Let me get this straight. You're going to give a few people the status of padawan, of which you want them to invest their gaming time into, their efforts into, and skills into, all so that after a specific amount of time you can "Wipe the whole thing?"
Not me.
I've played on test center for awhile now and it is not just a place I log into to get an idea of what coming, it's my home server. I chose test center because I don't mind the bugs, not complaining about the downtime, and understand that it's all a work in progress here. I appreciate the opportunity to help, report any pertinent bugs when found, but all in all, it's a character that is relatively progressive. I know you aren't going to take away marksman, or creature handler, while you may tweak the profession, my time invested is well worth it to achieve my goal, all the while serving the purpose I am intended to on test center by being a pro-active player.
This new Padawan issue is something I'm sure that has most people wetting their pants over. However, I don't see this as beneficial to anyone who helps test the feature, but those who will get the status on live, or who are already Padawans and Jedi's. I can't see placing all of my current paths on hold for a month or two and grind out skills that eventually will be completely removed from me. Essentially I see that as a waste of time.
Perhaps it's just me, but even still I do pay to play on test center, albeit voluntarily. I never intended to be a Padawan, never sought a holocron, never had hopes of weilding a light saber. In fact, I've never even seen the Star wars Movies, so I'm sure my opinion is the minority, but really, with the vanity allotment of Padawan Status for a little bit of time, then regressing to where you left off months ago leave mer quite disinterested, so ultimately, I hope I wasn't flagged.

200 active folks? That's really sad. Because that means 200 people who the dev's like. I'm sure there were more than 200 active players during the time frame. I'm also sure that if they picked names I'll never had made that cut. The dev's must know that anyone who knows they have a paadwan who hasn't unlocked (or even who has) will switch to TC2 to test it out. and these people aren't going to be causal players on TC2.
Not as clear cut as that. - The 200 they will pick are more a sampling of the people who logged in during the course of those two weeks. Of course if you logged in more you would be higher in the list but even logging in once puts you in the pot for a chance at being a padawanfor the test cycle. They did not say any other criteria other then you played during that two week period.
Rumor : Otoh all TC characters will most likely be on TC2 - just only 200 will be promoted to padawan. The others will have their basic skills sets complete (as far as I can tell) so if you are a BH on TC prepare for open session!

Even so - there have to be on the order of 100,000 log ons in those two weeks. I log on once and stay on for 6-8 hours. I hope they use a more sensible selection process than picking names at random. They are going to get quite a few people who are going to no-show.
