No offense taken at all...but one thing you should remember...While it's true that TH and JustG both play Commandos alot (as well as other professions), Commandos have also been one of the leading professions at receiving NERF's since the game left Beta...We've even had a stealth NERF of some sort in just about every one of the big publishes...We have Grenades that kill the user, a weapon that completely useless, A set of consumableweapons that a prime examples of cost vs. speed vs. accuracy vs. penalties that seriously don't balance out, and a Weapon that we are cert'd for with no specials or skill mods beyond Master Marksman...
So just like every other profession...Commandos are in desperate need of love too...and I would argue with anyone that we are being shown ANY type of favortism...I'd think it's more like "You only hurt the ones you love" when it comes to TH getting us NERF'd...heck look at his past posts where he, himself, has demanded that Commandos be NERF'd...

Do you even realize what a tragedy it is that you are considering leaving us...Since the short time I've known you, I've seen the fantasitc job you do...
Iwill keeppushing for the Smuggler Revamp to come as quick as possible...not because I feel they are any more important then any other deserving profession, but because they tend to be used my so many professions...
How many Smuggler/Other Profession templates do we see out there...I often push the Commando community to consider enhancing themselves with Smuggler and Pistoleer...I know tons of Pistoleer/Smuggler Templates...
Fixing Smugglers goes way beyond helping just one profession...it goes to helping all those who dabble the profession...It also helps those not even associated with the Smuggler profession as just about EVERY combat profession uses Smugglers for slicing...I can't tell you how much love I have for Smugglers who put up with my "slice" /tells...It takes a rare breed to put up with that type oftell hell...
So again...any improvement to Smugglers is an improvement to all Combat Classes...Their Revamp should be a PRIORITY!!!
i hate to tell you TH but u left out the creature that woulda won.... Spiderclan Elder from Dathomir would have crushed them all since hardly any of those other creatures could even do damage to it. took my group 40 minutes to kill lol.
This is a constructive message for TH. I am posting this here b/c it seems the most appropriate place. Hopefully you read the feedback on this thread.
Let me preface this by saying that i have played several MMORPGs including EQ and UO. I am very used to how SOE interacts with its customers. Sometimes its great and sometimes it stinks.
I am very disappointed with the way the devs have been treating the smuggler profession. They ask us to propose a document after pushing back our revamp then they push it back to "after JTL" as though when space comes out they will even CARE about doing anything except sucking in new people with "space" stuff

I concur, and I would like to add the reason that people one star you is that they are befuddled by the bonus answer this week. They fixate on the shiny rock and not on the substance. I hate to break it to you guys but most of those 'answers' were nothing more than redirection and stalling.

Exactly, in fact fixing this is critical for ALL combat activities as AP is one of the major strategic and tactical decision areas that COULD be significant in the game but as it is it's generally best to go with high damage kinetic weapons (or Blast as Dev's love Swordsmen) as nothing of note has a vulnerability to Kinetic, making ap2 scythes (+5 other weapons in the Swordsmen tree) and ap2 long vibro axes some of the best weapons, when really something like VL's should technically be more usefull than a LVA.
