Put those faction farmers in Vella, Espa, and Kaadara on the BH terminals. Here is a chance to add more content right here. Be alot more believable then to have literally stacks and stacks of dead stormtroopers by the afternoon. It looks like white cord wood piled up all the time.

Everytime a ST is killed in a city (Not during faction missions) then a5% chance culminative is added to being placed on the terminals. Kill 20 STs and surely you will wind up on the terminals.

I just wanted to agree with the guy that made a post concerning AFK looters that camp using a thirdparty macro. I know several that so this and even sell their loot here on the official boards. There must be something that can be done. The answer is not making the loot spawn less, because then it ruins the gaming experience for the rest of us. I have reported several of them and it seems to do no good. The same people are back again in the same place every day.

JEDI

I don't play a jedi, at least not yet anyway, but I can imagine how annoying it must be to look over your shoulder every time you want to gain experience because you receive a TEF each time you use your powers. When jedi first came out I remember a HUGE emphasis on keeping yourself secret. I would like to know just how you planed on us keeping secret when the only way we can defend ourselves it to use the force? I understand that a commando jedi or TKA just be extreme, but if I recall right Luke Skywalker was pretty good with a blaster. What I am proposing is that in an attempt to make it easier for jedi to mask themselves allow them to pursue the basic professions like marksman, scout, medic and the rest. They cannot go past that and branch into elites and hybrids but the training they receive in the basic professions alone would be enough to cover their true nature.

I also don't agree with the fact that you must use a saber in combat to gain exp. Sense when is the only aspect of a jedi’s training his ability to use the lightsaber? No matter what the power used as long as it is force related a jedi should gain exp in his tree.

I hear a lot of people saying that I'm crazy for wanting to play a wookiee jedi because of the lack of armor. Fix that please! In SWG I can understand the idea of blending in because if you don't everyone will try and kill you, even if they are supposed to be on your side. For the sake of honoring the way it is suppose to be you should allow jedi to wield powers to protect them and provide shielding from the same attacks that armor would provide protection for. A sacred jedi robe or cloak would be a nice thing for jedi to quest for. Give them something that balanced them up without taking away from their jedi appearance.

BOWCASTERS

I'm not going to say much here because of the next few patches having a great chance of reversing my opinion, but I would like to say one thing in defense of my brethren's technology. It's very plan and simple... you hear all the wookiees speaking about it and some of those who are not wookiees at all. Fix the bowcaster! You make it so weapon smiths must have both a blaster power handler AND projectile feed mechanism to craft one, yet the weapon has no armor piercing power at all. Don't you know that crossbows were build because of their improved ability to punch through armor much better then bows? Aside from the fact that they do about as much damage as a low-end laser rifles this lack of armor piercing power is just plan unrealistic. The weapon fires a crossbow bolt wrapped in an energy shell, therefore it should do both energy AND kinetic damage don't you think? The weapon was made considerably slow to compensate for the fact that a wookiee is suppose to "recock" it after every fire (unless he has an auto cocking mechanism like Chewy had), but in all the descriptions I've read on them it is said that it take a superior strength to **edit** the string back. If it takes such strength to **edit** shouldn't to knock down power be enough to at least give it the damage of a nice high-end laser rifle?

WOOKIEES

Why do all the other races get a bunch of new hairstyles and new tattoos and new make-up colors and a bunch of other stuff... and wookiees are still stuck with what we had when we made our characters?

We don't need armor and I for one don't want it... but we do need more special abilities to make us more formidable in battle. Some good minor resists that go up as our combat exp goes up or something like that would be nice. 200 Health HAM just doesn't balance out against someone with 800 Health and 80% Comp. Armor. Even if I had my max of 1350 Health it would still not equal the health of an 800HAM bar with the protection of good Comp. Armor. We just need some extra stuff is all... something to make us want to PvP. We are mostly stuck on the sidelines or flat on our back when PvP comes our way.

RACIAL DIFFERENCES

There are a few things you have done to make some of the races more unique and true in their own way, but as I see it right now much more needs to be done. I do agree that all races should be able to be all professions, but aside from a few minor differences (wookiee roar, equilibrium, minor HAM adjustments) there is not much else past appearances that make each race special in their own way. I have several ideas for every race but I'll just name a few here to get you thinking about it. One example would be the fact that Mon Cals are very adept at flying starships... so make them better then the rest in subtle ways. I heard someone say it before in a different thread "wookiees are not warriors, they are crafters and should be more mechanically inclined... Chewy was an exception." Well right now no race is better then the next at crafting so we fail to see wookiees better in any way shape or form. Bothans are always spoke of as the spies of the galaxy... so give them abilities to reflect this. How about giving them an ability to disappear off radar once a day or making them a bit faster then others inside cities or something. I hate Transdoshans but I still think they have their own right to be different too. They are a warlike race (the son eats the father to become an adult for god sake) and because of this they should be better in combat. Give them an increased bonus to gaining combat exp or something. Zabraks are supposed to have balance of mind and body, and TKA fits perfectly into that, so let them excel in that profession better then others. Rodians are somewhat roguish and untrusting for my experience. Well they would be great smugglers and probably would have an easier time fitting into thug gangs and the like. Let them have increased faction gaining towards villainous NPCs. Twi'leks are agile and every good at entertainment. So make them the best act in the bar... give them more flourishes and much better special stage effects. All of this is the positive side to change and I will not touch on any hindrances yet. I think some of the races have already been bashed enough.

CANTINA OVER CROWDING

First off you made a stage in the PC Cantinas but you never put one in the NPC Cantinas... why? I think that you should keep it the same as before where you must be inside a cantina to heal, but instead of the entertainers being able to heal anywhere they want they must be on a stage to do so... or at least if they ARE on a stage they get no penalties to healing. This would force an over crowded cantina to possible break apart and head to another town to do their thing. Some of you would say that this is a bad idea because there is only one cantina per city and some cities are traveled more then others. The problem would be solved if you simply place more cantinas in the bigger cities. Theed, Bestine and Corenet should at LEAST have two in them. This would cut down on the lag inside them and also make the experience much better by creating an emptier atmosphere and a shadier feel about the pub. Another topic having to do with cantinas and buildings in general is that they all look the same. Why is the cantina in Mos Eisley the only cantina in the game that has NPC patrons inside it having drinks? Just some more ideas I think would create better moods within the game, and MAYBE, JUST MAYBE promote better role-playing... this game is a ROLEPLAYING game yes? They have given it the title of MMORP, so where is all the people playing in character?

WEAPONSMITH

Why does a master weapon smith have the same chance of destroying a weapon being repaired as someone without any smithing skill what so ever? This doesn't make any sense to me. I am a master weapon smith and I was given a bowcaster to fix by a good friend of mine because he was afraid he would break it if he tried. Well he didn't break anything, but I did. I was using a 94% quality tool and that tied to my master level skill should have ensured me to fix his weapon without harming it. There is already a much to low ratio of bowcaster to wookiees as it is I was very upset when I busted his. A master smith of ANY type should have about a 1% chance of breaking anything when using a tool of such high quality. There is a reason why we are MASTERS of our trade.

RESOURCES

Why does every planet contain the same resources as the next? Sure there is a few changes every so often but for the most part every planet houses the same possibilities for harvest. This is a GALAXY it is not one planet. Every planet should house different resources then the next, or at least house a majority of different resources. It is ashame that someone has to actually sit and wait weeks before that ONE resource spawn so he/she can build a chosen weapon. It's very simple... make the spawning of resources from planet to planet have a massive variety. It would take away tons of frustration on the part of crafters everywhere. Especially Armor and Weapon smiths who need radically exotic resources for nearly each type of weapon they produce.

SPACE

Not really sure what is going to come of it all when it pops up, but if you haven't already I would like to see space stations. Not NPC ones that we stop in to refuel ... I'm talking about stations that players can use as "secret bases" places we can use to stage our space combat missions out of. It would be real neat to fly into a hollow asteroid, land in a hanger bay and jump out of your ship to survey the surrounding eye candy. Wouldn't it be cool to sit in a cantina drinking jawa beer and look to you left to gaze out of a window and see the moving space outside. To be able to stand they’re listening to the music and watch your buddy fly by in his X-Wing and give you a thumbs up. That might be pushing the barrier but you get my meaning. I want to start a guild all about space combat, but I don't want to have to stage it out of a land bases city. I guess a hidden jungle bases would be okay but that would only be allowed if you could land your ship anywhere, being as a hidden base wouldn't be able to have a star port. They’re all a bunch of possibilities and I'm sure your all doing your best. I just wanted to give my two cents.

PLAYER CREATED FACTIONS

Point blank... that’s it. Allow players to create their own faction. Not guilds but faction, with points to be earned and stuff like that. Allow them to choose from a general starting point like "criminal" or "trader" and let them grow from there. This idea would take many months to get working but it would definitely be something the SWG fans would like to see. I'd bet my bowcaster on it.

Thunderheart this hasnt been talked about in sometime but id like to know what are the changes for Faction Bases in the future???

There was at one time a Larger Faction Headquarters being made that was never released anbd would like to see that come out but before you do there needs some Base issues to be addressed.

This patch coming up with a turret must be destroyed before Enemys can enter the structure is the first step i believe in Base defense but there still needs tobe something done about Turrets and Bases as a whole.

Currently 1 turret Can be taken out by 1 single person even larges, there is variuos Ways to do this but With High composite armor and buffs and a PSG a commando/smuggler dirty fighting tree can Sit there and solo Turrets at 5am and they destory them all, this wouldnt be so bad if they didnt cost 9000 FP a piece to get, if it is going to be This easyto destory can there be a price reduction in these to maybe 5000 FP.

Also another thing that is KILLING the GCW on the kettemor server is The shifting base times there was recently a Raid onjust 1 night on Every single Base on the Server just about and 6 were taken out all within a few hours and all of them done Early morning before most people are on to even know whats hapening, these are 60K Faction bases in some case takes months or weeks to get and there being blown up without even a fight for them.

There is some weeks were 14 of these bases go up and maybe 2 of these was over a battle, something needs to be done because people are no longer haveing any use for the bases due to player citys has everything a player base does and it hassle free.

Maybe a system that makes bases worth it for you to own rather thanHinder the owner, teh attacking team has everything to Win and teh defending team has everythingto lose and this needs to change, there needs to be a reward/risk system there and Bases just need to be tougher, specially for the Rebels, One Imperial Master Sharp shooter with modertly buffs was standing in between 3 faction bases (no turrets) and soloing all these Rebel troopers.

a single Rebel cannot do this on an imperial base due to AT-ST walking around there as back up, i havnt a clue what could be done but something needs to be beefed up as far as the Rebel Bases are concerned.

Suggestions for Bases and the most popular ones are 2 Small turrets added to the inside of the base nad blast doors that a R2 unit or smuggler Has to Unlock or you must blast trhough it.

Mine fields dont always function and need to be more powerful (even sliced and power uped) they do little damage to a Person in 90% Armor and buffs.

These bases for the most part are What PvP are for and a godo percentage of the game goes into these things and fighting over them and if something isnt done soon We will be back to fighting in coronet again in NPC citys and that was what you Guys wanted us to get away from and its going right back there.

I think you guys are doing a GREAT job but we need a GCW Fix before it dies out, everybody loves fighting over bases just be nice if we could do it and not baby sit the things when tehygo into the Early AM tiem frame (server Reset)

How about you listen to the community and roll back some of the INSANE and USELESS nerfs in this game. Especially before all the crafters quit.

A few thoughts I have had....

1. I would love to be able to add any given player to say maybe a overall Co-owner list or something like this... meaning that this would automatical give said player admin to all structures, as well as right to move structures (like harvestors). There are many players that pay the 30+ dollars a month for 2 chars, and this would help a lot. Also many players have decided to marry, so this would be nice as well. Maybe put a 5 name cap on this list, maybe even have a few options for each name, like only added to admin on all structures, but not able to destroy.

2. Make items that could seat 2-3 people seat that many, not just one. Like the large couch, should easily hold 3 people, but will only sit 1. The same with say the X-34 land speeder it has 2 seats, it would be nice if you had an entry list for your vehicle, only owner may drive, but 5-10 people may hope in, (1 at a time only holds 2). This again goes with some of the same thoughts as above, multiy chars, or married couples, or even just hunting buddies. I know I would get an X-34 if it would hold another person, I would take the longer trip to have the passenger.

I wanted to thank you for the next round of updates in Pub 7, this looks to add more things that I and many others have wanted for some time. Thank you!!

Thank you for all the hours and hard work, for putting up with all of us that only complain, and rarely have a good word for you!

1. Turrets that do blast damage with AoE attacks. So if it targets a person, it hits that person and every enemy around it for damage but the targeted player takes an additional amount.

2. The GCW really needs a point. How the war wages really needs to effect the game in a more pronounced way.

3. The faction farming crackdown has to stop. It's become game breaking on our server.

Dude plain ans simple make the 2 seat cars be able to hold two people. Some withthe speeed bikes like in RoTJ

that's all a x34 with 2 seats doesn't do much for a small group of people.

Also they should make a taxi service kind-of thing insted of a shuttle you pay some low life NPc and he drives you throw the desert or what ever for less and you see some action.

TH, is there any way of having a weekly or monthly season-ticketof the Galactic Travel Commission. This would make the live of all frequent travellers less pain and I would not miss half of my connection flights.

I heard someone else talking about this in-game and thought it was a *great* idea.

This would be a way to reward those who stay with a certain profession for a longer amount of time. For combat professions, for everyfew weeks of*actual play time* (not just subscription time), add another +10 (or other value, just a +X variable) to a chosen defensive skill. These 10 extra defensive mod points could be put into any defensive class (ie. ranged def, melee def, various status defenses, etc). OR the player can choose to put them into accuracy with his chosen profession, like adding a +5 to polearm accuracy, etc.

For crafting professions, things might be a little more difficult to even out, but everyfew weeks of play timein the chosen profession, choose to add another point of experimentation, or some conservation of resources value, or maybe lessen the chance further of a critical failure.

Entertainers can perhaps increase the value of their buffs, or speed up the time required to give buffs. Maybe add a couple new flourishes further down the line. IDs could possibly have even more hairstyles for veterans in the profession.

The point is to reward those for sticking with a chosen profession. I realize this may create quite a rift between hardcore and casual gamers, but it has several benefits as well such as the ability to further customize charaters, and may keep players playing the game longer.
