i would like to support the idea of directly transporting to distant planets rather than having to hop planet to planet.

i would also like to support the idea of larger factory crate sizes.

one of my personal pet peeves of the moment is dying and coming back with a full stomach. if i lose the effect of the buff, why can i not re-use my food or drink of choice immediately? this would only lead to MORE usage of food and drinks and that would be a good thing for our chef friends, yes?

It's not the East or the West side (No it's not) It's not the North or the South side (No it's not) It's the Dark Side! (You are correct) You can't front on the Empire! To all you Vader-haters out there... We'll blow your planet up!

Maybe this only annoys me, but I'm sure some others that solo have the same problem.

When you are buffed, your visible H & A bars in the group window don't start decreasing when you take damage until you drop below the largest single bar. This is just for you, not your group, and your group can see your H & A just fine.

So if you have say 500H, 500A, 900M.

You get buffed in H & A.... now all your bars are the same length graphically in the group window.

You start taking damage.

Your H & A graphic bars do not start showing damage until you get below 900.

This causes me soooo many headaches cuz I'm constantly hitting Cntrl+C to open my character sheet to see if that poison is getting me down,, or if this mass of critters beating on me is chewing my Health up too quickly for me keep up.

It is just a pain in the butt and I wish you'd fix it.

In terms of development in general, and droids in particular:

Once plublish 7 goes live this week, I am quite sure there will be a heap of feed back on droids. Much of it will mirror what is currently being sloshed about on TC, but there will likely be some new issues once the entire community has had time to get their head's around the changes.

How flexible is the schedule for publish 8? I know that the droid re-vamp is targeted at two publishes (7 & 8). So once the community makes their voice known about 7, will there be time to adjust 8 to meet the expectations and needs of the community?

As a consumer of food, I was very happy with the chef re-vamp. And I think chefs were pretty satisfied in general. The early impressions about the droid invasion, however, are not so rosey. It could be equated to a fresh coat of sugar on a lump of coal (refering to public opinion. This DE is reserving judgement).

And lastly, will this be it for DEs? Once the droid invasion is over, will SOE be out of love for DEs? I am all for each profession getting a turn at the "well-o-love", but it would appear that DEs may be getting a rather short drink. Publish 7 will set the tone.

I have a suggestion that might help some of us long-time players continue to play.

As characters age and do certain activities, they could receive 'life experience' in the form of an increase to their 250 skill point cap. An example of things that could increase the skill point cap would include (the numbers are there as examples only and probably need to be tweaked):

I've been pushing for a similar idea for awhile as well...it's quite sound and most Online games out there have a way of rewarding their long time players...The problem comes down to what we have out there to spend our skill points on...the more skill points you have the less strategy the game takes (a big part of the strategy is the idea of where to best spend the skill points you have to be able to deal with with comes along)...When you start getting over 10 extra skill points you really start pushing that strategy out the window and you make it more profitable for people to sell their long time characters on Ebay (Act now...you too can start off with 270 skill points!!!)...

I think it should just be something simple like 5 extra skill points every birthday (of that characters creation...not the account)...with each year that passes, your character get's wiser...5 isn't enough to ruin the strategy and still rewards those who stuck with it...Someone who stuck with the game for a year is less likely to sell their account then someone who was able to get 10 added to their skill points in just a few months (via the 2 pts you suggest each month, each milestone, and high missions)...

Some argue that this will give older players an advantage over newer players...ABSOLUTELY...Why shouldn't those who stuck around that long have an advantage...the newer players can stick around for a year to get the same advantage...it's something to look forward too...

And this is especially pivitable as we approach the 1 year mark that this game has been out...

I was wondering if you could take out the EQ feeling to the game. You recently made PHAT LEWTZ the new drive in the game, and im sorry but its annoying. If you want everyone to be camping dungeons, please make all the dungeons in the game worthwhile, to spread out all the loot farmers. If you dont add that, please add an area on Naboo called East Commons and add a Marketplace/Cave area for people to shout their loot they are selling.

The TKM that was constantly beating on the thing looted some venom and gave out some to a lot of the people there. My question is,a lot of BE's were assuming that the "Secret Research Data" would be found somewhere in the Geo lab, but no one has found it. Is it in the game at all? A simple yes or no would be fine with me, it would help stop the "What's the secret research data and where can I find it?" threads in the BE forum. If we know it's not in the game, we can quit looking, but if it is, I'll start doing a lot of quests for scientists. Thanks.

Help me out here. I havent been through the dungeon on live. What is "Secret Research Data" and why do you think its in the bunker? Did the herald tell you that?

Secret research data is an optional component that can be placed in supplements that BE's make. When a BE goes to craft a supplement, there is an optional slot that is labeled, "Secret ResearchData." It's so secret, that no one has any clue on what it is, or where one would get it. The BE's ASSUMED that it would be in the bunker because it had a bio-engineer theme to it. We thought, hey, secret research data, new dungeon with bio'd animals in it, the data MUST be in there. But it hasn't been located. Thanks for the response, I should have been more specific.

Remember that Galaxies takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, so the attack on Hoth has already happened.

Actually it takes place after the first Death Star has been destroyed, before the Hoth base has been built. Rogue Squadron still has to move to that base Sorry for being a stickler.

Thanks for the reply. I'm living in a time warp! Okay, maybe the location of Hoth can still be leaked for faction points though.

Please look into fixing loot drops via piles/magseals/etc...

There are certain spots (ummm...borgle cave for example) where there are guarenteed high quality skill mod loot drops...This encourages long term camping and suspected 3rd party macro looting...If you read the various trade forums and other posts you can see many flame wars going on regarding camping this type of place as well as the huge income in generates...

2 Suggestions....

1) Make high quality skill mod loot drops more available...Why Not?With capping in place, why not have more skill mods out there available...and with the proposed Crafting Changes going into effect (making Experimentation tapes worth more) why not make them easier to get...Ask yourself, who does it hurt and who does it benefit? It will hurt those who sell them for profit, but help everyone else...

2) If you can't or won't up the drop availability, then get rid of skill mods via piles/magseals/etc...Make them drop off of random NPCs (high or low level) across the board...This way people have to earn them...

Anyway...just a suggestion...

The various loading screens talk about cities' "personalities". This one is known for commerce, this one for artistic flavor, scientific community, etc.

It would be really a nice addition if this were incorporated into the game. Instead of every city being like every other, some cities could have cheap bazaar fees, travel costs, or shortened travel times. Crafting bonuses? Better public stations? Unique quests? Entertainer bonuses?

If some of the less popular cities had features that made them more appealing for one reason or another, we could potentially reduce lag in cities like Theed and Coronet.
