A few ideas i have



an profession idea


(1) have a city planner class with these ability’s


(1) novice gives u the ability to build simple walls small gardens outside chairs and basic land movement


basic land movement lets u move land up 2 meters and down 2 meters and flat for 2 meters only lets u do it 10 min apart using 350 action and 300 mind


simple walls are like the walls that they use in kor vella the small walls


first 4 blocks are walls


(2) skill block 1 walls, defensive city walls 1, fence, these walls are fence walls that militia and criminals can shoot though. skill block 2 walls, defensive city walls 2, stone walls, basic stone walls that no one can shoot though. skill block 3, defensive city walls 3, militia offensive walls, these walls militia can shoot out of but the target cant shoot in. skill block 4, defensive city walls, patrol walls and towers, there’s walls can have militia walk on top of and the militia can have firing enhancement also this skill has a small tower that lets the militia climb in the inside and out into the walls (note) you need towers to get on top of the walls.


city buildings


(3) this is set up just like the architect profession


beautification and outside furniture


(4) this is gardens benches and stuff like that


land movement


(5) skill block 1, landscaping 1, basic design, improves that u can move the ground up, down 3 meters and flat for 3 meters and it takes 8 minuets to the next one and 325 action and 275 mind and the planner can place dirt roads. Skill block 2, landscaping 2, intermediate design, u can move the ground up, down and flat for 4 meters and it takes 6 minuets now and 300 action and 250 mind for use and adds broken brick roads. skill block 3, landscaping 3, adv design, lets u move the land up down and flat for 5 meters and takes 4 minuets now takes 275 action and 225 mind to use and adds nice even brick roads. skill block 4, landscaping 4, master of land design, lets u move up down and flat 6 meters and takes 2 minuets to recharge and now takes 250 action and 200 to use and adds paved roads


(6) master, large towers for walls connects to walls and u can climb up to the top for sniping if u know how to use riflemen skills, city hall (and different styles) exotic gardens, gazebos and beautiful outside couches


so first 4 blocks is walls 2nd 4 blocks are city buildings 3ed 4 blocks are gardens and benches and 4th 4 blocks are landscaping


custamizible homes


sorta like uo but diffrent


arcitects can make pre made homes (like what we have now) or ground supports for custimizble homes. What this does is that u have the 4 sizes (small, medium, large, and pa) where u can chose a wall type (depends on planet) and place walls on the slap also u can have a 3 floors (main floor, basment, or 2nd floor) diffrent way from going floor to floor aka elevatior stairs ramps, but u need to buy the parts needed for the walls and stuff froman archiect so it doesnt become obsolet. U can buy windows (tat house type dont have one), lights, round wall peices, strate wall peices, balcony peices, door types, indoor windows, outside balancy peices, diffrent floor tiles, railings. You can put it all togetherto make ur own little home the way u want it, but ur going to need lotsof crates for big homes .


Make windows see thu inside and out (privcey homes not see thu).


being able to put chairs and stuff on balcanys.


having diffrent day and night on diffrent planets like tat would be day when dant would be night

I think they should bring back a certain attribute to the swoop that was used in previous star wars games (Shadows of the Empire, Jedi Academy). This feature was the booster. You press a button, and you get a short burst of speed, like nitrous. Maybe you can implement an addon for the swoop. Like, just as there are vehicle customization kits, you can add vehicle boosting kits. Each kit has 10 charges or something. And you can chose how many charges you want to store in your swoop. That way, when you press a button, it will give the swoop a big speed burst for a short period of time. This would be especially useful if you're trying to get someplace very very fast or if you need to get away from something very very fast (krayt, bounty hunter, etc).

i think that you should be able to find clone trooper armor


befor you all shune me listen: we fight against geonosians drodekas and battle and even super battle droids... if they add that then they should have clone troop armor that you can loot that would be pretty kewl and another question is there ever going to be small flying vehicles (t-13 skyhoppers) and what about jawas you should be able to buy stuff off of them you know like in aother rpgs how there is a vendor and then a gamble vendor that your not sure waht your getting?

I think that since landspeeders have an extra seat there should be a way to tote around an extra person who is unfortunate to have a bike or vehicle.

I think that adding more Star Wars music to the game will definately make the game have more of a "Star Wars feel." The only music I seem to hear is the same old combat song, the loading screen, and the switch from day to night. Itgets to be very repetitive. Anyone who watches the movies knows that the soundtrack makes the movies have the feel that they do. Can you imagine watching any Star Wars movie with hardly no music at all? It would totally take away from the overall feel of the movie. The same thing exists with the game. The more variety of the music as well as having it playing more often would enhance it dramatically. If we are "living our own Star Wars saga," then I think we should have our own musical experience as in the movies. I'm not saying that music would have to be playing all of the time, just a lot more often than it does now and with more variety. Perhaps we could have the option of switching combat songs? Maybe different "adventurous" tracks could be prompted when we set out on a speeder bike? Or when we go into our homes, maybe have a special track then? These are just a few ideas and this topic may have been discussed before. I'm kind of new so Idon't really know.

With the new patches coming and going, can any DEVs please confirm whether the Current Jedi System of unlocking the FS slot by professions is still in effect?


Second, if you can still unlock by professions, has anything been changed in the system that would require a player to complete more professions or do something else?


Third, (TO THE PLAYERS) Has anyone unlocked their FS slot recently (as of March 30, 2004) and how many professions did it take you?


Last, DEVS,,, will the new Jedi Quest based system take into account all professions completed in the holo grind, or just the holo based professions that lead toward coming closer to unlocking the FS slot?


As a paying customer, I beleive I have a right to know the above questions. Furthermore, don't make me waste time continuing to play different professions when I can no longer unlock this way.

HOUSE CUSTOMIZATION


houses houses houses houses houses! Yes, this has been mentioned many times before, and there are "rumors" that stuff might happen, but i'm gonna take the opportunity to bring it up, AGAIN.


How cool would it be to customize houses? I mean, you have generic houses and planet houses (even though generic and corellian are the same thing). Well, since artisans can custom their clothes and stuff, why can't architects custom the houses? here's a few ideas.


Have the already made templates, but be able to customize the walls and stuff. You know, remove a certain wall, add a stairway somewhere. The exterior walls can bejust a shell, and the architect can piece the inside together.


Or, even more customizable would be to have a set of premade components to make your house. Like, 5 different styles of roofs, 10 different walls, 4 styles of windows, etc. Then, the architect can piece together a completely custom built house that way. Sort of like in The Sims (if you ever played that horrid game).


Another idea would be to be able to paint walls and your house. It gets dull living in concrete walled houses, or sand colored homes. Why not be able to paint them to your liking, just like you can paint your vehicle? Possibly paint each wall to your liking and stuff.


A main issue would be that architects might not visualize what YOU want for a home. So how about being able to make a house schematic and give it to the architect? Like have public schematic terminals where you can virtually build your home to look the way you want it, and then it churns out a schematic (for a fee of course ), and then all you have to do is give it to an architect and they can build it for you.


This is general housing question, but why do Tatooine guild halls only take up 7 lots when the rest take up 9? I mean, they both fit the same amount of items, cost the same for maintenance. Why 7 instead of 9?


I have also noticed lots of items in the game that are not available to us. Just walk around theed and you'll see. We only have access to Style 1 potted plants, and in theed i find style 3. There are also paintings, sculptures, and a variety of other things that are not available to the public. I love paintings, i'm currently trying to collect all the available paintings in game. But it sort of ticks me off that some paintings are on the Starport wall and not in the schematics of artisans Yeah, so when will we be expecting more of these unique paintings, plants, sculptures, and misc items to be available to us?

I'm sure you've thought of this (Devs), but most players die in combat. A lot. If you have skill loss on your main character after they become FS, it's going to be a very different game. (For better or for worse) Here are a few quick ideas which may or may not have merit.


1) Change to Jedi XP loss since last clone?

2) Skill loss only when fighting with a lightsaber or using force powers?

3) Skill loss only on death resulting from a BH mission? (My favorite)

Why Mandalorian Armour SHOULD only be for Master Bounty Hunters:


The Armour was invented for the purpose of killing Jedi.


What class in this game hunts jedi?


Mandalorian Armour should have awsome Kinetic resistance and very low encumberance. Other resistance should be mininal.


This armour is worn if the person your fighting does Kinetic damage. (ie Lightsaber)


This way it will likely only be worn in 1 v 1 as anyone shooting at you is gonna hit you hard.

Great idea for getting faction points for Crafters, lets say that the Recruiters can be looking for certain components to assist them in the GCW. Like a resource shift they could change, but the concept would be;


"Hello citizen, we are currently needed assistance in procurement of the following items to engage the enemy; Advanced Biological Effect Controlers, Droid Combat Modules, Wall Segments", etc etc... you get the point. Only items that a person turns in that HE/SHE crafted themselves will give them faction points/perks.

Hi gamers and SWG crew,


Everybody is always talking about the professions and combat mode etc. but I don't see anyone talking about quests. I mean the quests we have now aren't all that fun. Mostly a quests exists of conversing or killingone or more NPCs. Why aren't there like in-game puzzles and like 'mini-games' (with killing ofcourse)? For example, I really enjoyed the missions of Zelda (on N64) where you have to solve something to move to the next area, then kill some NPCs and find a way to open the next door etc. Id really like to see some more 'thinking'-based missions.

Besides this I really like the game It looks good, its big and its very addicted , GOOD JOB!!


p.s: I think TKA is a little overpowered (well in PvE now, since everybody has kinetic res as high as possible)
