Under GUI/Keyboard


-Items that are reduced to 0 hitpoints, show up as red in your inventory (unless it is equipped in which case it still shows up as an equipped item)


So this is anintended change, as is the 5 second delay between changing weapons. (Mixed feelings there.) I too have not received a painting though, so that seems not to have been implimented yet. I love the new ID tent interiors however!

Yea just heard about this yesterday. No more tef for pulling out and using lighsaber. That is going to really ruin the jedi being in this game. That was one of the things that made the game not seem like "Jedi Wars" cause the jedi wouldn't pull out there LS. You didnt know it was a jedi unless they had a title up, or you knew already.


Personally they need to put back in the tef for pulling out and for sure using a LS. Considering according to Lucas himself, you have to use the force to even weild a LS with any amount of accuracy and skill, and not cut yourself.

I would like the way you view resources on the vendor/bazaar reverted, it's too time consuming having to scan through every resource to see the name and quantity- before you were able to see "resource (name) ####". That's the only gripe I have about this patch so far.

Speaking for the Tailoring community: not that most people care about bandoliers but they said this patch fixed the two color option for bandoliers and that now the second color option will be available. Well after trying to craft one, the second color option is still blank. So, as far as Im concerend Tailor was completley left out of this patch.

I think there are many professions denied improvements this time, and its a little discourageing. Also, did they purposly ignore the requests the tailor correspondant, requests compiled by the actual tailoring community, who actually play the game?

Issue: No resource names/quantities displaying in vendor/bazaar stock lists = veeeeery annoying (if we paid you per hour that we spent playing, I could understand you wasting our time with extra shopping hurdles, but we don't, so please revert this! )

My jedi robe, 5 pearls and a red crystal have disapeared from my Jedi's player inventory. He was wearing the robe. I disconnected from him and logged on my main character for a moment. Upon returning he was in his boxers and his robe, the pearls and crystal were all missing yet my other inventory items remained intact. I'm logging out for about 20 minutes to see if they return, but if not you will be replacing those items today.


I'd also like to note how my main character is now showing that he has not mastered professions that he had indeed mastered before the profession badges were given. Either give my character the credit he deserves for mastering all the professions he's done or remove the silly profession and exploration badges all together. You've made them into nothing special at all with badges for walking across the street, etc. The badges for the Cries of Aldreraan were something special since people can't go back and get those now.


A question I have as well while I'm posting here. One of ya'll had stated at one time not long ago that our main characters would be given the force sensativity skills as well as our jedi's since we've already unlocked our slot. Well that certainly didn't happen this patch so are we to assume this is going to be given to our main character with the next patch?Or are we going to have to grind the entire jedi quest to have our main characters have force sensative skills if we wish to have them? I for one don't relish the idea of going through an entire process of jedi quests to make my main character force sensative after he's already mastered all but 3 professions in the game.


*Edit* Oh yes, I don't have a painting either and I hope you don't replace that with a silly necklace such as the one I recieved from Victor even though ya'll had posted we'd recieve an Imperial banner from him if he'd won. You can put that banner in my inventory along with the painting, jedi robe, 5pearls and the red color crystal.

2. Let me guess... The painting is ONLY for 1 year vets... So you can't trade it or drop it.

WHAT?! WHY!?! How is this an issue in any way shape or form!? Why would you do this !? This is just crazy. Uncalled for Nurf.

This was your solution!? Make is so that you cannot auto pull CHARGED tools maybe ... but not mol. clapms and WUKs/AUKs.


The issue here is that this "fix" ... fixes NOTHING. It mearly addes NEEDLES double clikcing and drag-dropping to each slice. This is a value add in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM ... yet it was tossed it in (completely by passing the step where it was supposed to hit test center) in a mindless nurf.

There was no balance issue here... there was no economy issue (the tools will still be created and stored in the same quantity and in crates ... you just added 3 needles double clicks per slice.) NEEDLESS AND POORLY THOUGHT OUT KICK IN THE NUTS TO SMUGGLERS!

Nobody at SOE thought to themeselves:
"Gee this doesnt really fix anything and I Can't imagine why smugglers would want it....why are we doing this again?" !?!?

Nobody at SOE thought to themeselves:
"Hmm...we probably should have tossed this onto TC for a day at least to evaluate what this does to the smugglers we claim to care about now"

Someone suggested that this may have been done to make smuggler a more difficult profession to master. If that is the case ... I have zero faith for our revamp. This does not make smuggler harder to master in any meaningful gameplay. It mearly ADDS mindless and needless tedium and mouse clicking.

....

I've been in this since beta...I'm done with smuggler if this remains the exmaple of your understanding of our issues.


Please say this "fix" is poorly worded and is actually something else...or is being removed.

1. Warcry, intimidation doesn't give tef to use. Using group tef to warcry/intimidation targets won't get you any danger.






Jedi not longer get a TEF. They only get the normal TEF for attacking an Imperial or Rebel like everone else.

LOS bug still in effect with Area of Effect shots. Will still hit everything in the AoE regardless of line of sight.


Recreate:


Take any ranged profession with an AoE (i.e. strafe shot 2 for rifles), go to a cave or the corvette (anywhere with multiple mobs). Fire off said AoE in a direction such that you catch more than one target in the cone. Even if targets are below you or behind a wall they'll still agro and come at you.

Here we go with the "broad generalizations" that ALL Jedi and ALL starports are idiot zones. Let's stop the "sky is falling" routine already. We are not going to have a campaign build momentum to force the TEF system back onto neutral Jedi after all the "drive by ganking" we have endured in the last system for Jedi who were "properly" behaving out in the wilderness working on PvE for experience while solo. It was proven that people can't handle the responsibility and self discipline to NOT go out TEF poaching (both Jedi and non-Jedi).


I suggest the following if this issue is taking place as is being reported:


1. Add to your /ignore list and move along. If these few immature fools are doing this, then ignoring them will make them stop it. They are only seeking attention, so just deprive them of it.


2. Have CSR/QA/DEV teams patrol the designer cities and provide a one week ban on these accounts where the players are obviously too immature to handle themselves appropriately (Jedi as well as non-Jedi).
