I've been trying to test the drop rate for crystals now, but really, with my low damage light saber, it takes 2-4 minutes to kill a lok pirate. So in two hours of killing those npc's, here's what I've killed:

Marooned pirates: 13
Canyon Corsaires: 21
Nym's personalle: 4

Of the total, 38, I have looted TWO items only. Both were junk. Before the reroll I was looting an item about 1 out of 3 or 4 kills.

I have no idea if crystal drop rates have been increased but it is pretty obviouse that the overall loot rate has been LOWERED.

Two hours is enough for me. Maybe I'll try again after they patch again.

(And light sabers still do not damage lairs)

I try, and try to escape... yet it sucks me back each and every time... How long can this go on?

LOL,

Yea i noticed the whole revamp for jedi is kinda lame.....i mean people cant even test out a jedi to even know whats going on.....and i see alot of bugs like my self on my chr i got jedi resourses and not even a jedi to test it out......another thing i tryed my brothers jedi on test2 and the damage on the sabers arent even high there like 100 to 200 hit which is kinda dumb for a lightsaber......but its kinda funny also the week my comp blows up i fix it come back and dev take everyones and even my friends jedi off test2......the devs need to think before they mention anything about jedi testing and let a jedi only testing server make it all jedi and when you make a chr there you get resourses and stuff to test jedi and FS skills.....

Some observations:

1. Lightsaber damage seems woefully inadequate, any Jedi not in possession of 0/2/0/0 in Force Healing will be spending a LOT more time in cantinas because we accrue battle fatigue rather quickly because it takes quite a bit of time to kill high end mobs.

2. It would be nice to know how much force we regen and how much force we drain when using Force Drain.

3. A similar notification message for Transfer Force would be nice, as well.

4. It may or may not be nice to see a message in the combat spam about Force Armor/Force Shield that equates with the messages given in combat from damage dealt vs the amount of damage prevented by armor.

5. Force Armor and Force Shield grant no experience even though they use Force to activate and deactivate, I understand it would be an easy way for Jedi to grain experience, so maybe remove the ability to drop armor and shields and only grant xp when they are first put into effect.

6. Experience seems EXTREMELY low, in the same amount of fighting that I would normally gain 100k experience last night I gained about 10k Jedi Experience. The Experience from creatures was about the same, but the time it now takes to kill them is a LOT longer. The way it looks now, I'll be taking the Force Powers tree and leveling lightning just so I can get Jedi xp from using it.

I thoughts on Padawan:

-cannot get xp from /HealHealthSelf1 if you are Novice force healer or /animalscare if youhave Novice Force Powers, so only way to get jedi xp is to use the sabre and you only get about 14-25xp per kill as you have no specials to use. This will cause many Padawans to give up. Only wayto currently level up faster is to take novice lightsaber so you get the bonus of 4 jedi points per special attack move used. This way is still too slow and will cause much frustration.

I propose even though they are slow keep the xp rates the same and introduce a new Appentice/ Master system that will help both Padawans and Knights. In this system Apprentices and knights will level up skills faster and Knights would also be able to improve their force ranks without actively PvPing. However, both xps and force ranking would be capped and when that point is reached, the apprenticeship would be terminated. This would better mirror the training system seen in the movies

HOW WOULD THIS WORK?

-when a Padawan or a Knight talks to a Jedi trainer, another option would appear during the conversation: "Would you like to register for Apprenticeship/Master training?" Clicking Yes would add their names to a list and display the character names of all Master/ Apprentices that are interested in participating. The player would then send an e-mail to their perspective Teacher/ student and would arrange to being the Apprenticeship.

-The Master would then give the student a pendant and bond with them (Similar to Unity) And a Master can only have 1 apprentice at a time

-This bonding would allow them to COMBINE their jedi xp totals for kills, ie: Apperntice gets 14Jedi points for a kill and the Master gets 200jedi points for a kill individually, so under the apprenticeship, BOTH would receive 214 points. Also the masters force ranking would increase for each skill he/she teaches the Padawan, so in this way it is a win/win situation. However there would be an experience cap of say 1mil xps or so for the Padawan. At that point the relationship would be terminated.

Keep the current xp ratefor non apprenticed Padawans to simulate the difficulty in finding your way alone without guidance.

This is just a suggestion, but I think it would make being a Padawan as well as a knight more fun

Bugs:
- Healing of corpses possible indefinitely. Makes for an inapropriate way to gain experience. Add lock.

Flaws:
- Experience extremely low for force-only support templates (master healer/master wielder/enhancer), healing experience for healother must be raised. Prevent exploitation thru granting experience only in 'stress situations', i.e. target must be in fight with mob that has greater CL than player being healed. (else people will start tumbling again :/)

- Force transfer: Force cost should exceed amount of force being transferred or it will be exploited as well (if you can gain experience with transfer after publish)

- Jedi Bounties dont seem to work at the moment
- Bugtool and /bug dont work

character 'emmdee

Tried rerolling this character, but was unable to delete any FS skills, ie, lightsaber novice, force defender, etc. Normal professions deleted without any problem.

Relogged, but character now has no skills showing under ' my character ' though skill points sit at 226/250.

Speaking to char's jedi trainer elicits a 'you are not yet ready to recieve, etc' message. Other trainers bring up standard profession dialogues.

Have tried relogging, still getting same results.

Had the same problem as others have had.

Decided I wanted to try Padwan with Master Brawler so I logged on my second TC char, Isida, that became a Padwan.

I logged Isida on and got the normal window to select the FS boxes, I selected them, but when it should have asked me to choose a novice proffession, it went to the normal skills slection instead. So I dont have any Padwan Novice proffection.

Also I am still neutral, wasnt' flagged Covert Rebel.

Hopefully I'll be able to choose the novice proffession later, really want to try out a new templete.

Logged in after the last patch and no force skills show up at all, but I am stillable to use them. Pretty bad though now that I have no idea how far I am from completing a profession =I =) I will not login until the *next* patch.

A symptom of me surrendering those force progression skills was that i can no longer train in them, would an ingame-person who has the power to give me a reroll, or give me the skills to get force sensitive again? I'm one of the ones who only gets the novice skill (such as novice force healer, novice lightsaber, etc.). If that's possible, i'd like to become a novice healer (like i used to be).

Thanks if possible or not, and the character I'm referring to is Samus' (samus with an apostrophe at the end). She is logged in.
