So when do Imperials get Landwalkers??? This nerf is because we are getting a new and improved pet for PVE right?!?!
That is a great Idea. If more then one Faction Troop should be tied to anything it should be Squad Leader NOT CH and I'm saying this and my previous longer post as a CH and a Rebel. The whole Idea here is that the Rebels are outnumbered and Outgunned at this time of the Star Wars universe. I would actually prefer the feel of having to skulk around and worry I would get killed going into places like Bestine and such. There should be way more at st's and npcs all over the place. Flooding the planets. Hey it gives me more to shoot at if I catch them alone or in a small group. The univers is backwards right now. The only reason to Nerf the AT-ST's is if a AT-AT is about to be added. And only then to make the power scale between the 2 work better. Right now it seems that there are not enough deeply knowledgable Star Wars fans running the show as Devs. They need to scan through all the posts and have a group that seems to know the universe inside and out as consultants. People that are both major fans and gamers alike. Otherwise things are getting more and more messed up. Like here in this thread. Were are the devs. There have been alot of majorly good ideas floating around in here. They need to respond. Responses one way or another to many of the posts on these boards explaining their reasons for things would go a long way to keeping everyone very calm.

i just read a post over in the droid engineer profession where thunderheart says something about the new probots will be able to be as good as level ten creatures but not above as it will lessen the value of higher level creature pets. with comments like that and the one about CH' s being able to have three out at a time because its a profession perk make me wonder if this really is all about that certain creature harvesting kiddie game made by a competing game company. so CH's can handle three pets out at once but a droid engineer couldnt? and theres not one imperial or rebel soldier smart enough to handle three faction pets? correct me if i am wrong but didnt luke skywalker have r2 and 3po running around at the same time? didnt yoda command all kinds of faction troops? heck i seem to remember a trade federation droid commanding hundreds of other battle droids. good lord, leave out atsts alone and get over your stupid love of the creature handler
I thought this game was supposed to be like the movie... All the devs must be Rebels.

It sounds to me the whineing rebles who outnumber the imperials by a vast majority (who most have quit the game anyway) has managed to NERF the AT-ST andget their way. Congratulations.

Exactly. Faction pets are pets only in name-- they are humans and machines (AT-STs). Not creatures. Rank should control deployment of faction pets. How can this not be the obvious solution?
We need more droids, stormtroopers, rebel NPCS running around. Not more Grauls. This is STAR WARS. The reason there are so many CHs is due to the fact the creature pets thus far have been the way to go-- faction pets die permadeath, therefore are completely useless in PvP. Millions of credits or thousands of faction points to acquire an AT-ST vs grinding CH to simply tame never-dying pets? Give me a break.
Has any of the nerfs on the imp's been ran past George Lucas. I think that he would be interested in how his storyof theimp/reb balance has been changed. The imp are few with good perks and the rebs are theunderdogs but are numerous is what I read. How come we can’t have the story as it was intended? This is a role-playing game right? I find it hard to role-play if the things in the game don’t do the same thing as the story had. Don’t the imp's have the advantage of might with better toys in the stories I have read yes! An at-st is a machine that is repairable right? (Common sense=yes) a creature can be cloned? (Again common sense=yes) But the game doesn’t use this as a guide. WHY? P.S. The reb's have the holocron advantage already.

can we at least make them non-perma death ? I mean your comparing CH's in your statment here about ATSTs ....but the last time I checked Creatures can be HEALED ...Heloo ?? any of this getting thru ??
