I think is rather odd looking, and some of the previous posts were pretty funny. This is "concept" art though. It may look totally different in-game. I think it an awesome start.
I really could care less what it looks like, as long as it saves my ass.

When I told that tailor I would wear a pink skirt if it could block blaster fire I didn't realize she worked for SOE.

Ohh, yea, all that slavery stuff huh? At least if you duck and roll up into a ball you can hide in the showroom of your local Pier 1 when we swing through on those slave raids

I think the guys who draw up the concept art should consider the "concept" of not being high while doing so o_O
I mean.. honestly... what the heck??

in all seriousness, I thank the developers for listening... however, Wookiees need much more armor to choose from... and great protection as well. I fear that this is the "bone" that the Wookiees will get and it's all we'll get for some time.

Five bucks says it takes a ton of organic resources. Guess what - armorsmiths hate organics. This stuff is either going to be ridiculously expensive, of sub-par quality due to resources, or both.
Bummer.

Ok, maybe...part of the problem with that pick is the posture and build of the wookiee. Given some color options I might be able to pull a set of that off that looks decent on my character.
