Thread: Forum Troubles
Unable to use any javascript buttons using any of the following combinations (all I was prepared to try!):
NT4 SP6a IE6, IE5.5 SP2 or Opera 7.23
Windows 2000 Pro, SP3 IE6 or Opera 7.23
Windows 2000 Pro SP4 IE6 or Opera 7.23
Windows XP Pro SP1 IE6 or Opera 7.23
Tried all with both default and minimal security configurations. Had to post this via the manual link.

At home, no problems. At work: I can't post or read forums other than the Dev Tracker. I use IE 6 at work. A few months ago I had no problems, even at work, but then it broke down. Clearing temp files didnt help.
Win XP
Mozilla 1.1
Additionally, every time I try to hit reply or anything other than normal browsing, my firewall gets hit with an ICMP Router Solicit (not really consistent)... dunno if it's related or if I'm just getting hammered by some new worm traffic.
im having probs with this too but im not getting any error messages it just will not open up the threads i get the headers and the page listings but nothing else and in order to reply here i had to use http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/post?board.id=in_live&message.reply_to_id=3897

Win2K IE6 latest patches. Worked fine yesterday, no threads in the forums and a non-working reply button now.
Afternoon All,
At about 10.20pm GMT last night I was able to access the forums fine, by about 10.30pm they we're showing the these forums are closed for maintenance screen - and when I tried to check some stuff this morning from work I'm getting the same problems as most of you. Win 2k Pro - IE 6.0.2600
I'd agree with the thought that it's got to be somewhere in the javascript on the page -
I get 3 error messages from IE
gn2_shownav is undefined on lines 346 and 380
and Object Expected on Line 14 which I think its something to do with the reset_alt_colors function that is within the show_messages function.
