Let me get this straight, the only way we can get a PvE base, is as a PvP reward?
Um, can you please explain the reasons for this? I really cannot understand why this is the case.
Also, I read in this that PvP enabled players may attack PvE bases. If this is the case, How can a PvP-disabled player defend against this? There is a 15Min wait befor going PvP-enabled.

Thanks DEVs.
Undeniable proof, that you all really do listen to the players. These two major changes will have a significant impact on the experience of the GCW, and the game as a whole.
I can't stop smiling. It's quite simply more than I think many here had ever thought possible.
Thank you... to an order of magnitude.

SI gotta say first that I am VERY happy with what I am seeing, and might actually try PvP out for the first time in 19 months after the bugs are worked out.
Question: In reference to a PvE base... you say a PvE base can be attacked by Combatants AND Special Forces(SF), bu tthat the new rules apply to what players can attack each other. Is the following considered aceptable?...
My group of 20 Rebel Combatants (no PvP) is hanging out at our local Rebel PvE Base, and a single Special Forces Imperial player strolls up. He says hello to my group, asks about a loot he has been looking for, and proceeds to attack the base. While he leisurly and methodically attacks the base, we are all helpless to stop him unless we all go Special FOrces also? (opening ourself up to his group of 20 SF friends who are waiting 200m away...just itching to gank all us non-uber PvP players)?

I have a question aimed at the Dev's. Why does the rewarded faction points decrease as your rank grows? The factions points get lower and harder to rack up as you max to the highest rank. I really have a problem with that. It should be the same as you go from the beginning to the end. Why can't it stay the same? I can understand the concept, but it is really hard as a Col.

GCW: PvP Bases
Base Placement
PvP bases can be placed by any factioned player.
Base Defense
PvP Bases can only be enterable by PvP Enabled players.
The inside of these bases will be populated and protected by powerful NPCs.
Base Vulnerability
PVP bases will have a 3 hour vulnerability window but this window will only occur every 2 days. These bases will also register on the planetary map.
Base Destruction
PvP bases can be destroyed by those who can get inside (PvP enabled).
The method of base destruction will remain the same is it is currently.
Base Purpose
Existence of a PvP base counts significantly higher towards planetary control than a PvE base.
Base Cost
When a player purchases a PvP base they will receive 2 PvE bases for free. These can be sold, traded or placed as needed.
Factional bases will no longer cost lots. You will be limited to a maximum of 3 bases per player.
To soften the transition, for each existing base you own you will be rewarded replacement faction points
New PvP Bases will cost the same number of Faction Points.
Very nice changes, especially the reduced lot costs and every other day for vulnerability. Many players simply couldn't commit to 2 hours every night. I do wonder whyit was bumperd up to 3 hours though?
My primaryconcern is will the new abort destruction bug be fixed before these changes roll out? The exploit/bug debates are lasting much longer than the base battles themselves.![]()
