I didn't notice anything in there about the FSCS unlocking system. Wasn't that supposed to change in Publish 7?

WHAT?!? The devs are releasing another publish and regularly supporting the game with updates directly based from player feedback? And this after publish 6 came less than a month after the previous major update (and a day ahead of schedule!) I'm outraged and demand more! The devs are totally ignoring us!


Okay, that's sarcasm. I think the devs are doing a great job so far. Granted, I'm not a hard-core gamer, but I really get a kick from SW:Galaxies and don't plan on cancelling my account anytime soon. What gets me cheesed-off though is reading the same posts, again and again, each month complaining and griping and whiningwhenever the devs announce a new publish: "How dare you add Such-and-Such without fixing my Personal Pet Peeve first? Goodbye, SW:Galaxies; I'm cancelling my account!"


Granted, the game was released about 3-4 months too soon in my judgment (devs, PLEASE take note -- take your time with the space expansion, test it extensively, and don't let it into stores until it's polished!). And I'm all in favor of the Publish 7 updates announced (though, I'll admit I don't fully understand the changes re: Artisan Experimentation -- can we spell that out with some clearer examples, please devs?)


But I recognize the devs can't do everything-at-once. Sure, there are people frothing with righteous indignation over the lack of Wookie Armor while the devs add vertical movement to objects in-houses and other such changes. But I recall people saying, "Sure, change this-and-that while I still can't even move objects in my house up and down! I'm through with this game!" EVERYBODY out there can claim "the devs give no love to My-Profession-and-or-Race!"


Y'know, after watching the progression of updates (and the way the devs have totallycaved to player feedback, changing everything from Jedis to critical failures on crafting to the perennial "why can't I summon my vehicle outside of cities and camps?!?" complaints) I have to honestly conclude, the devs *DO* listen to our gripes. Speak your piece, make your suggestion, and give it a matter of time (just a matter of weeks, really) and you're likely to see your desired changes made. Most of the complaints on this board though just revolve around themmaking X change before making Y, and how dare those devs not be mind-readers to know my priorities are more important than those of the people who complained before me. "I want them to read my post and change things immediately or else!"


Star Wars: Galaxies is a fun game for me, it's getting more fun with each new publish, I eagerly await the Space Expansion (but again, please take your time!), and I'm honestly having the best time I've ever had with a video game here. Thanks for a great product, devs. Just keep the updates and new publishes regularly coming, and I'll be happy knowing you're working to continually improve an already great game.

I want to know a lot more about this experimentation thing. I can't tell from reading this if its going to be good or bad. I'm NOT a master, my experimentations already stink, so does this new system make me even a worse crafter? Masters already rule the roost in terms of items made, are we now giving them more advantage.


My biggest problem with many parts of the crafting system is it forces players to grind into master to be able to create sellable items. I DO NOT want to have to grind anything. I want to live my life as a crafter, sellilng items of some sort or another as I work my way up the trees. I either want to be able to sell something to a player (probably the best bet) or something to a master who can use my parts in his final creations. I don't want a system that creates an even wider gap between the novice who can do nothing, and the master.

Please fix the bounty hunter defenses,remove dizzy or reduce the time it lasts after u fall down(EVERBODY are TKM/RFM)Fix the CARBINEER carrer As rank increases in the rebellion or empire U CAN GET MORE FACTION TROOPS(Not AT-STs)MAX NUMBER OF FACTION TROOPS U CAN HAVE IS EIGHT,and other professions that need to be fixed.Sorry about that my keyboard gets screwed up sometimes.

If you read either of the wookiee threads in core systems forum you'll see a number of solutions for this problem have been presented with well thought out critiques of each solution. Would you have to create a ton of new art just to let us wear the armor that is in game? Is there some goofiness in the code that is preventing you from doing this? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? An entire player race is essentially broken and you don't seem to care. If there is a logical reason for all of this nonsense please tell us!




I tend to agree they really need to help us wookies. I don't think us wearing armor is the correct answer, but having some "Built in" armor, even if not near as strong as other characters would be helpful. Some good combination so we don't have too many more people whining saying wookies are already too powerful. Always talking with people, it's "wookies have a HAM boost", give me a break...that ham boost doesn't compare anything to what people with composite get for defenses.

CL10 droids........for combat.......shuuuuuurley you mean a droid with 1 combat module will be cl10 right ? and a droid with 2 will be cl20 or cl15 and a droid with 3 modules will be cl25 or 30 ect


A cl10 droid is completly worthless just so you know because I KNOW you dont play this game so trust me on this or your wasting devs time makeing a useless new expansion and wasting players time making useless droids nobody wil buy except as something thats kewl to have.


if 6 modules make a CL10 droid you droid expansion is a COMPLETE waste of Devs time making and our time laffing at it.


if KD dizzy works on these new droids they will be even more useless so remember that too Did you forget the shied module ? remember there made from steel so there kinitic resistences should be around 90%


Also with merchent skills you can equip vendor with items we should be able to equip these droids with the weapons of our choice seeing how you already have that code made .

your warcry fix if i read it right is bad .you want some Fool with a group tef to enter a crowd Shout and render all of them unable to fire there weapons because there scared of this idiot ?


Warcry shouldnt work on master level characters at ALL lets see some defense mods for master level characters against this stupid special. it should be effective against Noobs and primitive npcs not master level combat professions.


While were on the melee subject whats with these 20 meter long arms brawlers have which is longer than pistoleers ideal range on pistols ?


Do master brawlers have 20meter long arms ? if so you need to redo the animations so we see their arms strech out to 20 meters when they use lunge on us so everyone can see how STUPID looking it is ok

If a covert attacks and uses a group tef that person becomes OVERT instantly and will remain overt .


If a covert attacks a opposing faction npc he becomes overt !


if this same person is killed and clones in the same city he/she wears a TEF for 5 minutes but has a choice to clone at any npc city on the planet he dies on


you cant fight in battlefields right nowso use that same system on cloning centers .you cant fight inside a cloning center

pets need to take only 25% of the damage in pvp like players do ..........pets even rancors are USELESS in pvp rancors gruals pets of this size should be immune to KD immune to warcry and should be feared in pvp not laffed at .

Why cant we tame a bordok or a tybis there like horses and should be mounts ? the bantha and cupa will be nice mounts personally if you made a greater sludge panther a mount id take up CH again.


what you did in ch was great spreading out the tame and train so dabbers couldnt rape the profession now you need to make the profesion worth the points as it is MCH is about a 12 point profesion !

and while you explain that explain why someone with a lightweight vibro knuckler can do more damage faster than a fully automatic rifle /carbine /pistol.what is the logic here?


I really want to know why you and the Dev team think a unarmed/TK should be the most powerful combat class in accuracy /specials and damage/speed for so few skill points ?


Can you defend this ? please do i want to hear your explanitation cause its been this way a long time so it must be a feature not a bug ? LOL

you have massive problems in your system ive pointed a few out to you.Fix the broke stupid stuff before wasting time and resources on new stuff thats always broke .look at your history on new things you bring into the game all your doing is digging a deeper hole of broken things


and leaving most things in the game broken .

Defenses from TK do not go with Riflemen last time I checked. The reason for this is that they are unarmed defense abilities, not much more than that. Being a combination of the two just make one able to fight long and short distances.

You, defined as people with ranged weapons, can inflict a ton of damage on targets from far off, yet you want to gimp melee classes more when they are close? This sounds like you've been killed a few too many times and wish it to not happen again. If you stay away from a TK, you can win, pretty easily. If the TK is good at PvP, you may die. Why is it more accurate and fast? well, even in RL, punching will most likely be a bit more accurate and faster than a gun because the gun requires being aimed, where if you get into martial arts heavy enough, you can almost "feel" where you need to hit, and it becomes automatic after a short time.

TK is fine where it is, if you're dying from it, then learn better how to avoid being hit We get a 5m range at max, not 20m, and you get 65m or so. Just because we are faster doesn't make us best. I think you may want to do some research into melee classes to fully understand it better.

Oh, on the subject of vibros. Vibro length is like 3m right now, i've seen them hit at maybe 4m once in a great while, but 3m is it with vibros equipped. Interesting huh, unarmed we get 5m, armed we get 3m. go figure.

Well my 2 centsit's about the Bounty Hunters tracking system, some Bounty Hunters on the Corbantis Server are getting Combat Medics to throw poison/disease at Jedi while they are on their roof Macroing Jedi xp,poison/disease is bugged in that it goes throughWALLS and hits it's targets even though i cant target and fight back. That is an Exploit. If i'm doing it i cannot get down to fight back cause i'm TEF and cant go through my guild hall to get to them so they have no fear of being attacked. This needs to be fixed!!!!

Kind amakes rebels even weaker since all an imp ahs to do is pull out his 54k ham AT-ST and he doesn't need defense stacking. But in PVP rebels will have no good pets unless they are CH but an imp doesn't even need any training to have the most powerful killing machine abtainable to people by his side. Souds like they need to be nerfed a bit and Can anyone tell me the amount that defenses will cap at? I'm hoping for 100 but then I know that won't happen.
