ok... so now how do Holos work??
I did my 3rd one yesterday and am gonna get trained in it today, but I heard that the way to FS is differnt now... :/
It hasn't changed yet. Apparently some people do have bugged holos now. It has been stated that you should contact support if you have a bugged holo.

As far as Smuggler's using their skillpoints to obtain 'Smuggling' ability, until the Crackdown they had absolutely NO SMUGGLING ABILITY. Why some are complaining (read whining) about not being the ONLY ones able to avoid scans I can't understand. Before the patch, you had no smuggling use in the SWG world, now you have great value in my mind and in many Smugglers I've seen minds... only the few whiners who need to learn to have some patience ... see how it all plays out ... and then offer Constructive Suggestions to make things better.... the whine is getting old, useless, and downright annoying
Your sig says Master Bounty Hunter.
Imaginethatit's prior to Jedi Bounties andthe Devs introduced a new Bounty Hunt Publish. In that publish, all Imperial Officers, by virtue of the law and order they're supposed to be upholding, got to hunt player bounties for regular characters and take out Jedi, too, AND would have 500% faster Imperial tracking droids (hey, Imperials have good technology, right?). Bounty Hunters would to hunt Jedi and not regular players; only Imperials could run the regular bounty missions, and you wouldn't get any special droids.
So Bounty Hunters would get some new content and be able to live up to their name, but Imperials, by virtue of some invested FP and the mantra that they are the law and they have better technology, would actually get better bounty hunting skills than you.
That's the sort ofidentity stealing that's going on here. Smugglers gotsome spending cashto play with, sure, but our inheritance just got given away to someone who's not even in our family.

I was a CH, trust me this little thing for smugglers and imperial officers isn't even in the same area code of the nasty nerfs and "no love" that I have suffered
And that's EXACTLY what we're afraid of, only WORSE. With CH's, you guys lost your profession's uniqueness thanks to the nature of the GCW and faction pets (not to mention your own pets being readily available to folks who dabbled and were non-CHs). We fear the same thing, except it'll be (and arguably already IS) worse for us. It's worse in the following way.
1.) We're not the most popular, or most mastered profession, so we don't have as powerful a voice as the CHs.
2.) Our abilities that are being given away as "faction perks" aren't combat abilities, so they're not the kind of thing to make the devs sit up and say "Whoa...this is a problem."
3.) Players in general are loath to let go of an advantage that's been given to them, whether it's good for the game or not. So, even if this crackdown thing isn't that big a deal for smugglers NOW, in the long run, it'll be the first thing Imperials point to as why they should be immune to any law enforcement efforts, and thus, able to smuggle as they please.
I mean, at least you guys can control creatures and such. We're barely even smuggling now, and any future attempts at smuggling content will have to get over both the perceived nerf that any broader contraband or tariff system would represent to the playerbase as a whole, AND the sense that Imperials should be immune to and above any laws, rules, or regulations in this game aside from the "out of game" rules like no exploits, no griefing, etc. (the "Terms of Service" rules, i mean). That's why we're arguing in defense of our profession.

Is there ANY reason to continue to be a rebel? Not only did the dev's give imps at-st's to farm kryat loot with, but now rebels are constantly harrased by npc's while imps are completely ingored. Where is the love? Have the dev's forgotten that maybe the rebel side needs some content?Nope quit...You seem to have forgotten that Rebs outnumber Imps on all servers except the Euro ones
Apparently you've never seen the Bloodfin server, it has to be at least 5:1 imp to rebel.

Imperial players can hunt any Jedi without a mission.
I don't have a problem with that.
And if Imperials got to hunt regular player bounties, but Bounty Hunters didn't?

- Night before patch 100's ST's turn coronet into a complete blood bath, which is awesome and makes me want to hurry and login in the morning. I login to find 5 ST's spawn ina Cantina on regualr times and thats IT
- Why oh Why did you feel the need to drive every NON-BH Carbiner out of there profession ?
I DEMAND AN OFFICIAL RESPONCE TO CS1 FIX WITHOUT FIXING CS2
- DE's are still worthless but you felt the need to keep the remaining 4-5 of them playing by making vehicle customization kits require Droid Storage Compartments *golf-clap*
.....eeeeeeUUUUUUCCCHHHHHH............
Why the heck do you need Engineering 3 to use that schematic for making a Mollusk Harvesting tool?
Why is this not a Scout Usable Schematic instead?
So I guess I wont be making this tool, even though I am the only proffession that has a reason using it, becasue I dont have Artisan Skills at all.
Had to give them up, thanks to the skill point system.
