Thread: Friday Feature Pt.2 :: Advanced Player City Guide
Master Chef/musician/entertainer for cantina that's kewl.
Why aren't Bio-Engineer's required for Clone Centers?
To me that would make good sense. Hopefully the fact that i held myself back form putting that into all caps will encourage TH to issues a response. aside from that man, I love the cities, ours is growing steadily, and I lok forward to your profession update tomorrow. Please, please, please answer me that thought. Was it just an oversight? or is it on purpose(WHY)?

Its 5 for you now. It will be 10 early next week.
Also note, if you have 5 now and it changes to 10 and you don't have 10? That means you lose your minimum number of residents.
Can you explain this a little more? I also think that the explanation should be posted in the Guide.
Does this mean that each week the number will grow until we reach 85, and if we dont meet the quota
I would like to know why there is no mention of a 'cap' in this guide. Granted, you say the cap will be raised... but no one has a clue as to what that cap is, nor when it will take place.
ok i read about promotion and demotion.
With demotions, do we keep getting demoted every week until we hit the next quota? Isnt that a little harsh? That means we are forced to eventually become a metropolis.
And is the quota raised by 5 every week? So in 17 or so weeks we need to be a metropolis or week could eventually be demoted back down Outpost. Is that correct?
Do the quotas ever stop rising?
Why are a couple of you crapping your pants about this minimum population increasement?
I might not agree that it's a good idea for cities on advanced planets, but that increased cap is a nice idea for the noob planets to eradicate those sub-10 people secret private cities (if a few actually exist).

Well we are on Talus and we PLANNED for 5 guys to start with. We will get 10 within the next 8-14 days, as we have planned.
But if the limit is increased on 10 with monday we are have a serious problem here. Make it at least that already placed cities have a "grace" periode for 2 weeks not only several hours.
I don't understandall the "after the fact" announcements. Why the sudden limitations without enough notice.
I am curious TH, will the cities "grow" roads? I think it is kinda lame for a city to be just setting in the hills of naboo.
Thanks for showing me more of something our PA doesn't get to participate in for .............oh who knows how long till next publish? It was nice to get the "patting ourselves on the back" email from station.com about how cities were in the game, of course ommiting the debacle of the land rush and limitations that have everyone pissed.
WOO HOO!!!
There are a couple of troubling changes in this document, not just the increase in minimum size from five to ten.
1. It's not level 1 cities that have a higher population requirement; other levels do too. E.g., I'd understood that level 2 required 15 people; now it requires 20.
2. The size of the level 2 radius has been reduced from 250m to 200m. I'm not sure if other city radius sizes have been changed. I was really counting on 250m to fit in all our new immigrants!
