I just crafted an LE Repair Adv. Chassis on TC. At the last stage, where I should have been able to select the name (and color) that step appears to have been removed.

If I'm insane...please let me know. If not....

Why was this removed?

This takes away the 'droids-as-furniture' use from DEs. It would appear that I will no longer be able to select custom colors for the chassis, which will carry over when the chassis is created and dropped.

Or....is this a precursor to the P8 change for 'display model' droid deeds?!?

I can say that there will be a few of my regular clients that will be pretty upset that I can no longer set the colors on the droid chassis that I can build for his home decoration business.

Whether or not this will change with the upcoming nerf on crafters remains undetermined. From initial tests from master weaponsmiths on the TC, the damage (and I believe the speed) is still better on crafted as opposed to loot, however there is a significant reduction in overall crafted item quality due to experimentation changes. There is already a huge thread discussing the crafter dissatisfaction with the upcoming crafting changes, so I'd direct you there for more information regarding this matter.

unfortunately I have been keeping my eyes on this post and either the tread is too long to FIND the dev replis or there is no dev replies could you please have the devs that are in charge of that thread take a look and give SOME FEED BACK ty

May be a known bug, but it happened to me on TC.

Crafting in practice mode. Finished the steps for one item. Opened a second tool. When the item completed in the first tool, I got the message "Crafting Session Ended" and it closed out mysecond tool. This was 100% repeatable.

faction pets can still attack in PvE... but not directly. an AT-ST set to 'guard' will defend the target it is set to guard (ie, the controlling player). damage shows in combat window, and over the mob's head. additionally, no matter how much dmg the faction pet does, xp does NOT seem to be reduced for players (this is a lot harder to be certain of, but when a group gets over 4-5k aggregate xp while an AT-ST is throwing 1k hits, it seems pretty solid).

I see testcenter-bria is back up and i'm just logging on now but I saw no dev ntice about it nor details on the state of its patching (is it identical to testcenter at the moment?).

Devs, Besides simply /bug'ing items is this the appropriate thread (or tomorrow's or whatever) to mention my findings?

TC-Bria is running the same code as TC, so Test Center Bug Threads would be the place to put bugs you find. TC-Bria would be a Test Center, so sounds good to me. Thanks for helping test.

Neutral Corvette:

Wounds cannot be healed except via Meditation. Droid Medical Modules are suppressed.

Faction members are forced overt, and are also unable to target/attack each other.

well.. mentioned this in the old testcenter-bria thread in the bria forum, and I'm sure someone has cought this already but since /bug is not working on test-bria I felt I needed to mentioned it here...

1. Bug with food icons clearing on death:

Food that buffs (my case brandy) - drink food, see icon & get buff, die, no buff & no icon = GOOD

Food that does something other then bufff (my case synthsteak) - eat food, see icon and get protected for X hits, die, no icon but as with live I still get the benefits of X-whatever uses that were left on the food = NOT GOOD/BUG

This is really a pain in the ass with something like synthsteak because if you run right back into combat the only way you know when to eat more is to watch your combat logs like a hawk (or just randomly hit your hotkey to eat more and ignore the messages saying you are already protected)

2. Also, along with this, my combat spam was really hard to follow - in one case I got jumped by the 3 new tuskens at once and went down before I could blink but looking at combat logs didn't see near enough damage to incap me and I didn't see my defensive buffs listed. Maybe its just stopping short when you die or something. /shrug

Some spices I crafted over a week ago and had stored in a bag showed 0s duration. I had a Muon Gold and a Pixie show like this. They do work though and a newly crafted ones show the correct time.

I had some interesting sound issues over the weekend. Firework sounds in NU were causing my landspeeder sound to stutter and break up. Also, When I was near some mineral harvestors that were turned on a squad on stormtroopers walking sounds were breaking up the harvestor sounds. I am using a sound blaster live value on Win98.
