Merchant Droid Bug = My barker droid no longer repeats like he should. Once it took 7 minutes to repeat and then it didn't happen again. Then another try he repeated after 3 minutes and then 7 or 8 minutes and then didn't repeat again.

I'm not trying to paint the devs as an evil cabal of brutes. But I have a hard time swallowing that *someone* hasn't planned BH specifically to get hammered on due to just how far down the ladder we've been shoved over the last year.


Mastering Politcian does have a use -- setting up a city to its fullest potential. That's something that benefits a whole lot of people.


Mastering Bounty Hunter has pretty much been reduced to giving us Spray Shot and some nifty titles. And given just how effective a one on one combat profession we were at launch, to have been beaten down as far as we have over the past year has taken more than some light stealth nerfs here and there. Other professions have gotten the same treatment to a lesser extent, and still others have been ignored completely so that profession X can feel better or be played better.


Now, everybody is getting this treatment so that the new profession X (Jedi) can have a better game. I don't care who's responsible for it - it's not right.


Call it whining if you want to, but there's no way you can put a spin on it that will make it a good way to treat customers.

Methinks ya'll may have sealed your fates. Better double upon what your Jedi are paying monthly to make up. Can'r believe you guys thought it would be smart to do this.


Jedi upgrades are great and well needed. Good for you psychos who spent hours upon hours and days uponb days ruining the game for the rest of us. Which leaves one question... What about the rest of us?

Issue: Force Regen Bonus on the Padawan Robe does NOT work


Server: Starsider


Planet: currently on Dantooine


Location (x,y): currently -96 2990 (my char location)


Your profession: Jedi Padawan


Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Put on a Padawan Robe and time the regen then take off the robe and time the regen. Same amount of time goes by and you regen the same amount of Force. The amount of Force regen per tick is the exact same too.




As a side note crystals and pearls are converting very badly....the really good ones pre-pub are converting willy nilly into whatever. Good and bad...

Instructions for recreation: Basically with the removal of the TEF and the broken BH missions, Jedi are now free to roam without bothering to keep their identity secret. This is making the game feel like Knights of the Old Republic. I was just down the geonosian labs with my guild and the place was filled with grinding padawans. I thought the idea was that it would be very difficult to become Jedi Knights due to the TEFs and player bounties, and that once you get to Jedi Knight, it is the force ranking system that you then have to contend with?

i have only one short question...


is this really what you (SOE) calls a Jedi Revamp or a "Publish" ?


- lightsaber resources

are ultra rareif not unique (spawn rates of more than 200 days between 2 spawns)


- the delay on armor / weapons

cause 2 people used a BUG which doubled the stats of a weapon you nerved all players? - BAN this 2 guys !


- the jedi robe (this should be a joke, don't it ?)

no defenses, no resistances, only wearable while naked - without a backpack

this little regeneration bonus and the +200? force power ... it could only be a joke cause no Jedi will ever be able

to do any dungeon, any quest or anything in the world without a little armor...

i get killed by some maulers (naboo npc's) which killed my mind in 2 600 damage shots cause i could not wear

a helmet and use the force...


- jedi skilltrees

jedi's can't use survey tools to find some resources they need for crafting a lightsaber, should this be right ?

a jedi has to be artisan to survey for some resources ??? omg, if this is true where is the "unsubscribe SWG" button


- jedi sabers

woah... made a level 1 saber 100-202 damage (with some really good resources)

made a level2 saber (which needs more rare resources) - 110-220 damage ???? WHAT that should be a

sec. generation lightsaber ??? LOOOOL ... 20 damage more, and 12 forcecost per style more... i'll never use that !


- jedi skills and the skill training option when lauching game...

yay... nice that a jedi can't master his skills... cause... you have first to select 6 force sensitive skill trees

(which have imho nothing to do with jedi)

then take 24 (or less) skillpoints jedi *lol* (first skillboxes takes 8 skillpoints)

then take ALL rest points in skilling crap ... like marksman, medic, scout ...


let me think... Luke Skywalker was a Droid Engineer Jedi ? (novice droid engineer, one handed lightsaber 4 ?)


sorry, i don't understand this patch... help me to understand it...


if this is the final patch, i'll unsubscribe... at 5. Juli 2004 starts the Europe Beta of World of Warcraft... i think i'll take a look in that...

Devs are killing what can be a great game, no doubt.


Lets summarize shall we?


Vendor Interface = fooked

PvP = fooked

PvE = fooked

Awards = fooked - yes I know we get them tomorrow, biut the point is they couldn't get it right.

Ubese armor shirts and belts = fooked

Fake jedi in starports = fooked - how does this enhance the Star Warsy feel? Is this a joke...I'm sure we could find Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu suckin a slurpee at the 7-11 next right?

BH = fooked since launch

Politician = fooked since their debut

Vehicle repair = fooked since their debut

Smuggler = fooked since launch


It defies explanation why these things that are important to the game, have been ignored, and useles stuff gets added.


Do you recall the "special" offer to players who left? Wonder why they would need to do that in the first place? Maybe because it alarmed them how many people left? But they don't learn...they never learn...because they are adults, in a position of power...beyond reproach...and think that they know everything there is to know about this abortion they have created. Worse yet, they think they know what we want.

Fully agree, no evolution in clothes or collors made, no new ones introduced, head wear is extremely poor exept for twileck ( being one miself i don't complain but for the others...) foot wear exept for boots and women shoes (being one myselff...) the selection is poor, if we want to keep any interest in tailoring and i enjoy this prfession a lot, keep it alive!

Quick question, why not just make it so dot weapons dont stack, i.e. 3 health poison knives of 100 power when applied to target will leave a poison that ticks for 300.


Instead they make it so you can only have one weapon in pvp. 5 seconds is allot of time and lets say that by accident your finger slips and you hit the wrong weapon, that makes 10 second delay.


5 to 10 seconds, cm's make poisons that will leave your mind down to one by the time this is all through and you finally have your weapon out to do somthing back


i really dont want to quit this game but it is becoming frustrating to the point of not being able to deal.


pls stop killing all the proffesions in this game. make the others better when one is too powerfull, provide counteractive messures players can invest they're time in if they wish to do so.


and dont tell me thats how pve in this game gets to easy cause is it really gonna be more fun when it takes you 15 minutes to kill one quenker.

Issue: The only crafting tool that can make a Generic Crafting Tool is another generic crafting tool. This means that you are now unable to experiment when you make them, as there is no crafting station for these tools.
