Let Architects make the PvP and PvE forts! That would be a great addition to their crafting!

Has space been considered in the planetary control? If not right away some time in the near future?
Having a big space battle after fighting long long battles on the ground for a final planet control point needed IS Star Wars =)

Quick question, will base destruction of PvE bases be the same as the PvP bases or willa group ofaverage players be able to take one down without having to form a Strike Team of the required professions. There will be arguements both ways, but I would like to see a group of players be able to take down the PvE bases without having to gather all the specialized professions. This would allow more people to get involved in the GCW.
GCW: PvP Bases
Base Destruction
PvP bases can be destroyed by those who can get inside (PvP enabled).
The method of base destruction will remain the same is it is currently.
GCW: PvE Bases
Base Destruction
PvE bases can be placed by any factioned player. All players may attack these bases and destroy them.

Might be a nice idea to have a hard cap on bases since we dont want to see another based every couple hundred meters. This cap would be high but when reached the only way to change the planetary mix of bases is destroy a base from another faction first

KEY TO SUCCESS WITH PLANETARY META-GAME:
MAKE PLANET CONTROL REWARDS WORTH THE FIGHT &
REMOVE "FARMING" AS BEING A VALID TACTIC.

so what will the rewards for planetar control be? are we just talkin increased factional npcs on said planetor something more? will we get to see AT-AT's and rebel tanks and such patroling planets? and if it is just increased faction npcs (if AT-AT's and rebel tanks aren't gettin deployd) what kinda increase are we talkin bout here.
ps. i wont be droppin any pve bases so i can watch covert rebels murder stormtroopers. that somehow doesn't seem star warsye to me. i'll also be blowing my own bases that i have down now to since they'll be converted to pve. there goes a few mill down the drain. /sigh

Yes please!!! make those in Rori, Corellia, ... "PvE NPC held bases" so that we can go and make it switch sides and be a major factor in Planetary Control. This was the original idea living in the "never up to date on-line manual", see chapter 16 swaying the GCW...
And ... change the procedure in wichbases are taken/destroyed, make it like destroying radars, antennas, setting explosives, you have that in some other quests , treat this as a "mini quest" inside the whole battle.
