I know it was mentioned before: You cant damage Lairs with Lightsabers. But nobody mentioned you get Jedi XP if you use Force Powers and now the Happy Grinding AFK people stand before an empty Lair and grind Jedi XP. And thats a Testcenter...

I'm 0-4-0-4 saber, and i can not use my 3rd generation 2 hand saber. It says i do not have the proper skills, obviously a bug.

Kind of hard to test without a saber...


But I heard there is a dev-bot in the cantina in Coronet that gives out crystals (1 per toon). I have not been able to verify this myself, as I'll have to run some missions to afford travel to Coronet .


I know on the normal TC they don't want to interfere with the economy, but if they really want testing to roll, they should have loaded our bank safety deposit boxes with items we'd need. Since this is a temporary mirror, it wouldn't have any affect on the TC community.





No decay + uber loot = /spit on crafters

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

Remember... to Cancel you have to go to Register Expansion in the Launchpad.

I apologize if this is nothing new...


In an effort to find out what the deal is with these bugs, I dropped all my skills. ALL of them. Including Force Sensitivity. Now I can't train in anything and have no skills. The (broken) trainers won't train me anything, including my Jedi trainer. But, I can still use my lightsaber, and I gain 1h Saber xp instead of Jedi xp.


And, I found that if you train in Jedi Initiate from your Jedi trainer, you still will learn the NEW skill tree, not the old one.


Let's see...I'm not sure if we're not meant to advance or what, but I can find no way to train in more skills (this was before I deleted all my skills) for Jedi. I qualified for more, but no one I spoke with was able to teach me anything.


I've attempted re-logging, waited upto half an hour, and still no ability to choose more skills. I suspect I'll be able to with a server reset, but who knows. I had also tried this last night, and was able to re-choose skills when I logged back in.


Oh, and I know there's devs about. One was handing out crystals a bit ago.

TC2 Just needs to be shut down and re-copy tc or something because alot of people lost their force sensitivity and i even lost my whole character

The basic problem with the skill selection seems to be that the "new pop-up window" is NOT tied to the 'real' skills window. This is evidenced by the -fact- that you can drop skills in the skills window and your total skill points go back up, but they do NO go back up on the pop-up. Another result is that you can learn -up- a tree to 3 (like Lightsaber 1-h 3) and get "4" as the next option on the pop-up.. delete 3/2/1 from the skills window, then select 4 from the pop-up. You lose the skill points and gain level 4, but have an empty space for 1/2/3. The pop-up needs to verify the previous tree in the skills window before updating the skill set. NOTE: Each time I've logged in so far, -another- missing box was automatically filled in on the skills window, and skillpoints taken accordingly. I have one more 'gap' to check with my next login, this may be a pseudo-selfcorrecting issue SO LONG as someone didn't burn up those "extra" skillpoints on "mundane skills" (but it seems that trainers won't train Jedi anyway, so that might not be an issue for Live conversions. If the trainers are fixed, you could end up with people with negative skill points, or at Master in some Force Skills and still have Master TK/Fencer or something.. this needs to be looked into and should probably be properly fixed.. i.e., the pop-up tied into the regular skills window better). I am currently trying to "clear" my skills to pick up the remainder of what I need, though, if this last hole fills in I might not risk it since I need one F-Sensative line and someone said droping those skills rendered him a normal toon.

Also, you are supposed to pick "various" Force Sensative skills to become Padawan, I picked some, then dropped a full line. Now I have LESS than the minimium for Padawan but don't have the option of picking them again. Not sure if that's a big issue, those skills might not be used by "Jedi" and are only for normal skill enhancment during the run from Padawan to Knight.

The info on the training saber schematic says it's a 2-handed melee weapon. Clearly, by it's being held in one hand, it's not. Not sure if it's there just to keep all sabers 2h for ease of coding or what, but 1h, 2h, and polearm should all be their own kinds. I have 1 training saber schematic, and 3 first gen schematics. All 3 firstgen schematics are "2h melee weapons".. I was confused initially when I saw the titles and didn't know which schematics I had until I realized the second line was the "type", the first line was the "item".. so I -do- have first gen through 3rd gen "lightsaber" schematics.

BUG:


I have +75 Lightsabre experimentation and +20 Force Experimentation.


When making my Lightsabre I only had 7 Experiment points available when I should of had 9 from the added 2 from the force experimentation line.

the extra 2 experimentation points did not work, i had to use a weapon and droid crafting kit to experiment on my saber at all, is force cost supposed to be extremely hard to reduce?


damage output from sabers seems awfully low, i do more now on live with a kinetic training saber than the sabers on TC


chat server is busted on TC2


surveying for resources on TC2 is plain annoying, took me 2 hours to get enough resources to make a second gen saber, i think time has proved the survey/sample system is indeed working, can we move on? really could have used the bazaar but guess you have to take them as they fall.


force cure poison does not work, says target is invalid or that i am not poisoned, havent tried disease yet. believe it was a health poison that was telling me this.

Bugs I've come across so far:


-The lightsaber experience is pointless at this time because the lightsaber tree goes by jedi exp and not individual lightsaber skills.


-Can't talk to ANY trainers without either A; ask me if I want to train in Jedi initiate (considering I'm padawan, that's a mute point) or B; tell me I've got nothing they can train me in.


-Having problems trading with a few people.


-The melee and ranged defense seems to make no noticeable difference in combat.


I have found that the acuracy and speed modifiers work rather nicely though.

Oh yeah, also found that I can be trained in Jedi Knight without even getting any of the elite jedi skills aside from the novice lightsaber.

okies...I am confused like so many others but here's what happened to me


Logged into TC2with my long time TC1 character happy to see I was jedi material, went througha force skill selection and someskill line selections after which I was prompted to spend 230 or so skill points on standard skills (not sure if this is right, this is where I am confused) I was able to craft a sabre and had a crystal to load it but the auto macro given to me for the novice lightsaber skill was /saber1hslash and a combat message would state there was no such command.


Thought I was bugged re-rolled my toon to find the same end result as before, re-rolled again mastering BE and CH in the choosing of standard skills and still couldn't use any jedi slash commands


Thought I would have some fun with BE again and sampled some frenzied grauls but the DNA samples can not be used in making a DNA templet (the filter hides them and they can't be dragged manualy) Tried sampling some voritor lizzards and thier DNA can not be used to make a templet as well


Also during the last roll I selected a jedi skillbox that granted animal scare......tried using this but I keep getting a system message that states "you can not use force abilities or special sabre attacks while wearing armor" not wearing anything but a ring (just remembered it, rebel themepark quest ring...prolly causing the problem but wedding rings might need to be checked....unless a jedi craves not these things)


I actually killed agnort with my sabre (tough fight with no specials, this is why I think I am bugged) I was granted a moderate amount of light sabre xp considering it was a gnort, and a whole3 jedi xp


It would be nice if you could get guild/group chat back up....however tells can wait, got a bad feelin' bout that
