Really disapointing THUNDERHEART.... Iv'e been a non-stop reliable customer since day 1 up to now , got5 accounts and couldn't make it to the Fest... Now you giving out Beta accounts to the fest attendants not even counting on your old customers that has been building theFunds of the LIVE TEAM every single day. And if Star wars is what it is today it's because mainly of all your old customers that has stick up and beleived in this since day 1.

Not whining just a fact. And im pretty sure old vets from day 1 that couldn't make it to the fest feel the same.

I am having problems logging in. I got the email and clicked on the first link (the register 1). I typed my ID and Password in and then it went to the You have successfully logged in....Click Here to Continue. Only when I click there it takes me back to the login page. I also tried not clicking where it says and just letting it refresh on its own but it does the same thing. Anyone know how to fix this or what I am doing wrong. I can login to the regular forums just fine; post and everything. I can even edit my account. But I am lost. Any ideas or suggestions would help.

It looks like a few ppl are having problems with this. Anyone found out how to fix it?

I live on the East Coast of the US and it was too expensive for even me.

Way to cater to the rich and the Western US residents, SOE.

I was in the original Beta of SWG, that in itself should take prescedence over Fan Fest participants.

Excuse me Thunderheart but this little "FanFest Attendee" Beta reminds me on methods that were used sixty years ago. i just mean that its sure that people that live near the FanFest location were there ....

but what you seem to forget is,that not all swg players are living there. what about the other countries .. i dont think that you will make a fanfest for example in germany or in the netherlands. personally, i cansay that i dont have 1500 dollar to travel to a fanfest for a weekend .. im not that rich (even if i want it.)

another thing i have to say is, that i think this FF beta is a little bit TOO commercial for about 80% of us. money = beta as written above. and just playing the stress test isnt that wonderful. it will just show up a laggy server fixes and crashes for a few days for us non FF visitor. and please ... if you make a registration for JTL beta, send us mails if we are chosen ones or not. its confusing us all. its the whole time like: beta or not, beta or not ? ... theee whoooole day .)

ok thats for today, i hope you found the time to read my little argues.

greetings from a chimaera veteran

C'mon guys, if you had read the info about the second phase of Beta (The one about to start), you would have seen the statement that it is open to any selected players but FF attendees just get a headstart on the selection process. And I can attest that a huge number of FF attendees were in fact veteran players. There were even people there from Europe. I for one attended and had to sacrifice some things to save the money to go. Don't flame TH just because you couldn't take the time to actually read the info about the Beta or the posts about the Fan Fest itself.

      Dear SOE,

I have an issue. Yes, I have searched all the data bases and web sites, but to no avail. You see, I am sitting here trying to get some work done and am unable to tear myself away from this forum. It is like driving by a traffic accident, one can not help but stare at the blood and carnage about the roadside.

Please, please please lock this forum! I have tried too, but it would appear that I am not an employee of SOE, so there is no way for me tolock it. While it remains open I have littlehope of doing anything other then staring at the tripe andrantings of my fellow players... Please, I beg of you... Stop the blood shed, err, I mean tear shed.

      Thank you SOE, for everything!

      OK

I dont get it... I mean from the day they announced that Fan Fest was going to happen... we all knew that the people that went would get into the Beta 1st... so why now are all the people who are sobbing.. acting like.. this is something that SOE just pulled out of there butts..?

This is to all the cry babys...

Do you think SOE can nerf the REAL WORLD to cater you....just like they did to you in-game.. it is people like you who have brought this game down..

Shut the hell up... they have said that the old timers will get in then it will be open Beta.... so all of us... Fan Fest and norms alike will be able to play before it ships....

What the h*** kind of ungrateful "veterans" are you? All you do is sit around whining about not being on the d*** beta test yet. The devs have made the best f***ing game in the galaxy and let us play it and all y'all can ever do is b**** about not being the first person with a d*** ship. Don't get me wrong I'd love to be on beta butI trust the devs to pick the best d*** testers in the whole galaxy to test it and they will get it done when it is necessary. As Yoda once said,"Haste is the way to the darkside!"

Now pleasestop whining and do something productive!

What some people are failing to see (and us veterans aren't entirely helping the matter) is that we don't accept the fact that fan fest attendees are the ones that should get in first for this reason: Not all fan fest attendees are best suited to test JTL.

There are beta testers for the ground game (that haven't gone to fan fest) that are excluded from this process simply because they didn't pay to get in. When we see that it's not the quality of the tester, but the quantity of money that allows us to get in it makes us feel devalued. To me I hear: "Because you couldn't fork over however much was needed to attend fan fest we aren't going to consider you for the first wave of invites." We could care less which veteran got in first if there wasn't the matter of money involved.

The beta testers for the ground game were invited because of their posts on the pre-beta boards. They were chosen by what they brought to the table and how they brought it.

Something I think many needed to be reminded about is that we had to pay for shipping of the beta discs. Some said you get to get into beta, stop crying about having to pay $6 to play/test it. Many of us thought regardless of how "inexpensive" it was for us that we shouldn't have to pay to test a product.

Something else that should be said about the veterans wanting to get in as soon as possible is that we were there when the game was going to be released. Even someone like me who was a newbie to testing saw the flaws and knew it wasn't ready to go live. It left a bad taste in our mouths. Many of us felt disgusted because we couldn't use the testing period to shape the game into what would essentially be fun. Had we had ample time to test the ground game wouldn't be in the shape it's in now.

That's a valid point but the way it is usually phrased is just b***ing. That is what pisses me off.

Ok i still got no invitation and its Friday 10th so i wait for the answer of [email protected]...

      *crossesfingers*

Btw if i would be a dev i would never read in these forums anyway and i think people with 200+ posts here are either complete swg-nuts or just terribly bored (i use my internet time to play swg instead of whining on the boards).
