Well if you want an idea for a Veteran reward. Maybe a unique playable species. Or maybe a character slot that allows you to temporarily play the role of a type of NPC in the game. But then again that might be overcomplicated. So i'll just say this. Give Collectors Edition owners the Japanese Eyewear!!!! LOL

Can we have a clarification about weapons?

-They can't be insured but you said that we can use the no decay item on weapons

-If that is the case, will it stop battle decay? Because they don't decay upon cloning.

In my opinion the rewards should be non-tradable but it makes no sense that you only get 1 per account. If they aren't tradable (like mark of hero ring) there's no cross-server trade problem.. yet it allows those who play on more than one server to actually enjoy the rewards.

Anyway, they should really be non-tradable: everyone is worrying about no decay items used to save the condition of exceptional weapons, but in the other hand if they are tradable one could keep a BE suit with skill mods forever.. which would once again raise the price of CAs.

here's a question. Does the anti decay kit work on crystals in lightsabers? That might be something to consider, because getting a nicely tuned crystal is a valuable item.

-Correct. The anti-decay kit can be used on weapons.

-Yes, it stops battle decay.

As far as the items being tradable, remember you'd have to actually find people willing to part with their rewards. While there will be some people willing to do that, I don't think it will be the norm. Especially for the 6 and 12 month rewards.

How exactly is the Anti decay kit intended to work?Is the idea toprevent an item from ever recieving more decay, repair an item to full without side effects or what?

I ask this because the implications have been that an item wouldn't recieve further decay, which sounds like both a great reward and worrying prospect at the same time. Several players have exceptional weapons, armour or items of clothing with attachments. It may not be anything to worry about, but the thought that everybody could obtain the parts for and have amazing quality weapons made and then turned indestructable just seems wrong. Likewise a highly resistant piece of armour laden with very high armour attachments that can never be destroyed could just tip the balance of fairness a little too much towards those who have amassed great fortunes or stockpiles of unbelieveable resources / items.

I'm very worried about this. It is very unbalancing. Like most people I'm worried about the extremely powerful weapons never decaying, but I also think it would be a problem with PSGs. Right now PSGs don't get used much because they can take like 5 hits and then they're toast. Someone with a PSG that didn't decay would be in a PvP class all their own.

Also, for the power gamers, finding an item once it exists is never a problem, no matter how rare it is. The top players on each server (read richest) will be able to get as many anti-decay kits as they want. They all have alts anyway, so they can already transfer a few kits to their favorite character that way. The rest they can buy in auctions or get from their crafter friends that don't have a use for them. In this fashion they could have a full suit of uber armor with a PSG and an uber weapon, and none of it will ever decay.

I highly recommend removing the entire anti-decay kit reward.

Yes you could do that.

Isn't this reward for just one character per account? Thus making it impossible for cross server trades as you will not be able to get a reward on 2 servers.

Ah drat! Yes you are correct, I misread his post. You can get someone to trade items with you, but since it is only ONE item per milestone per account you'd have to find someone willing to give up a reward choice. Sorry about that.

Ok, now wait... So once one character on an account takes a reward (let's say the 3 month reward) does that mean that no other character on that account can ever get any reward? Or can another character on the same account take the next reward? (at the 6 month mark) If the latterwas the case thencross server tradingwould still be slightly possible, but still pretty improbable.

•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

I agree this is very worring especially now that the devs has confimred what I feared to be true. Please reconsider this reward. At least think about the Impact it could have on the game

I don't think that the anti-decay kit is anything to worry about.

Think about it, you get the reward after being in the game for 1 full year. It will make 1 item never decay, that is the only time you can get one, unless you have multiple accounts, then you may have upto 4(That is the most I have seen account wise). That is only a half of a suit of comp.

From what I read it can only be used on things that you can insure, so I'm sorry to say that the Uber-leet weapon you have will still continue to decay. And since these are one per account there won't be many(if any) cross-server trades.

As someone who plays on 4 different server, I too would like to see the vet rewards non-tradeable, but available on each server.
That way you can enjoy them on every server you play on (similar to the JTL-yacht), but there are no cross-server trades.

The latter is the case. So let's be clear:

You get one choice per milestone per account. Any character on your account can take that choice. So one character could take a 3 month reward and you take the 6 month reward with a different character if you wanted to.
