Don't worry too much about it. I called them 6 minutes after this announcement went up and they said they were full
I'm on the waiting list though.

Dang if I would have had advance notice I could have scheduled it... Sacramento is a hop skip and a jump from the bay... heck I may have to start commuting their for another job.
Are there going to be more than one focus group days? And why did they decide to pay people for something people that love the game would do for free?

I'm with you, Vall... Denver ends up shafted way too much... about the only thing I think we can claim is hosting the original Star Wars Celebration... and it rained the whole weekend.

Okay okay okay ... I know thats not probable. So here, I'll cut the Devs a deal.
1. Fly me out to SF to test.
2. You dont have to pay the $100.

Why don't you guys save yourself the lunch, the $100 and let the vets play and give you FREE feedback.
Way to waste my subscriber fees

Get over yourself, they can't be everywhere all the time - The expansion will be RELEASED soon enough, you can play it then.

Same here, though the waiting list is for other possible market research, not nessecarely SWG:JTL testing.

We dont think that maybe that being paid $50 an hour to play the game might bias the testers at all do we? Hey im all for being paid to play. But when they hand you a meal and a $100 are you going to be honest?

Having over the years, participated in market research with a few different firms, I would say it has no influence. I can be brutely honest. I am no brown-nose fanboi. The money and food is nice but that's really only to compensate you for your time. The idea is to be true to yourself. Don't offer opinions based on what you think the company wants to hear, or opinions based on what others in the group are saying, that would just skew the results.

The only thing they'll show them is the spaceship that Barf was flying around in Spaceballs... who wouldn't want to see a Winnebago as the end portion of the pilot themepark... the 100 bucks is to make them legally stay quiet about the joke!!!

Concord, CA, US in the San Francisco Bay Area, East Bay Area to be exact. About a 45 minute drive from my house across the SF Bay Bridge.

They do this all the time for Final Fantasy XI, get over it it's impossible to be everywhere at once. Now if they used Bit-torrent and did an E3 for everyone like Guildwars did.....drool.
