I guess my concern is time tables. A LOT of people think that the space expansion is due in march and that the GCW wont be attended to until then. Could you give a general time table for the combat and GCW revamps and the SE?

TH How long can you and the devs completly ignore the Bounty Hunter community? Iam sick and tired of the months that have gone by with a total lack of communicationabout anything BH

Something other then jedi or fan fest would be nice. Seems that's all there is, well other then a little with smugglers but look what those poor guys had to do...
Anyhoo a good discussion would be state of the game issues, for a good example, a discussion on what the players base would like to see next. You did put up a poll but it's very wrong, when I voted I did vote for jedi/combat revamp. However probably like most it was for combat and NOT jedi.
Another idea would be for changes or ideas you guys are throwing around over there, or even for a brain crunching thread where people throw in ideas!
Couple things I would like to know is about strategic base HQ's, what happened to these? They were being designed over 6 months ago but then not a peep, then again there isn't much interaction ever given for GCW so this would be strongly recommended.
Once patch 10 arrives ut's a safe bet the player base would like to know what their hidden professions were!
Another thing that comes to mind is game issues, no not crafting, but combat in general as well as PvE. Official words from the Devs on current issues would set aside a lot of player frustration, how long does it take to fix a few things with a profession (combat wise)?
That's about it for now, and I really do have my fingers crossed for the next few months as it appears that will make or break SWG.

At least once a week, I remember a dev saying that on friday mornings, the entire development team sits down and plays the game for 4 hours, then spends the next 4 hours trying to fix small things they found to be annoying that they can fix within those 4 hours.

What are some of the important points of focusing the discussion, or would you like to see a "post your essay" kind of thing, more of a free form discussion or something else? If its "something else", then what would you like to participate in?
The topic I would like to be discussed is 'Star Wars Continuity'. More specifically I would like to discuss:
1. What continuity aspects are 'bent' or 'broken' and
2. How can they be 'straightened' without sacrificing gameplay, or can they be changed at all?
In answer to your second thread I like focused threads because it seems like issues get taken more seriously when a lot of people are focused on the same thing. Free form discussion seems to be about as productive as the banter that goes on in the Galaxies forum.

I would like some feedback as to what changes are coming up in the Combat Balance and the GCW. As someone who is not in the least bit interested in jedi I want to hear about some positive changes coming up in those patches.
JTL, while a positive thing, really isn't all that relevant to me as a MBH. I will add that the far off smuggler revamp and the prospect of smuggler bounties has me pretty excited. With any luck the tracking droids will be working by then after having been beta tested on jedi for what will be by then, the better part of a year.

I say we do soemthing like a "top 5" for the ENTIRE community..
This can span from forum issues, to in-game or technical issues, but try to stay away from specific profession questions (they have there own issues)
There are ALOT of top issues Im sure we would all love to see addresed, even if its just an answer to understand how the Devs intend certain things to be.
I would submit that the Damage of CM, coupled with DOT weapons, and Havla , is a tad more potent than the community at large would like to see.
What we need to know on issues like these, is what exactly do the DEVS feel on this issue.
Do they feel CM should be the most potent pvp weapon in the game?
Followed closely by looted DOt weapons ?
Do they feel that the need to offset the 75 % damage reduction outweighs the cost to use it ?
Or is it too difficult to code at present time ?
THESE are the types of disccusions /answers that I think the community would like to see.

How about some info on the combat revamp. There are lots of rumors floating around on this one. And since the answer to just about every question the combat professions ask is "wait for the rebalance" it would be helpful.
Once we get through the Jedi Revamp, I'll be posting lots of thread. We'll have a lot of focus threads and the like and after P9, I'll start making the weekly roundtable have a CB focus to cover specific issues.

I want the weekly roundtable to be more interactive for sure, but FWIW, I do take note of as much of this info as humanly possible. I save all the big communtiy docs and summarize the issues in a big spreadsheet. Sometime in the next few weeks, we'll be having meetings on how we can streamline that process (also an upcoming discussing
)

As soon as I can, either myself or JustG will let you know.

I was harassing JustG about that today. Thats the best answer I have for the moment, though I'm doing the best I can to get it on the schedule.

How often do any of the Development team play SWG?
On Live servers, About 5-10 of them team are pretty hard core and play lots on their own time, about 3/4 the team plays at least 2-3 times a week and everyone plays at least a few hours a week.
