Will the Devsstate a definite date for Publish 7 to go live as they did with Publish 6? Come on guys, let's see the communication.
I'll give you a definite date. When it's ready and not a moment before. (as it should be)
Just be glad this game isn't on a schedule like Doom III or Half-Life 2.
"New Vehicle: Updated the AV21 Landspeeder with the correct sounds"
where is the schematic for this vehicle?

Okay,
It looks as though they solved this by simply removing the "move by name" syntax where you used to be able to say
/move Couch forward 10
and now they're strictly using the targeted item. (It also looks as though they fixed the message text that used to ask "What do you want to rotate?" when /move had no object.)
If you need to move something "by name," e.g., picking it out of an overlapped pile of stuff, you can still do it by saying
/targ Couch
/move back 50
so basically I am happy with this fix.
By the way, I wrote a niftyalias (you could alsocode it as a macro)that I call "wall".
/move forward 256;
/move forward 128;
/move forward 64;
/move forward 32;
/move forward 16;
/move forward 8;
/move forward 4;
/move forward 2;
/move forward 1
This takes the targeted item and shoves it "Up Against The Wall!"as far as it will go. I find it very useful in storerooms and such.
Answers from TestCenter
Disclaimer: I'm not a Dev, but I play one on TV. REALLY! (No, not really.) These answers are A.F.A.I.K. (as far as I know) and accurate to my experience on TC with Publish 7.5 (As i refer to it. Meaning we have publish 7 and the Corellian Corvette.)

Does this mean that the stomach will decay completely upon death? If so, yay
So far, it seems to be emptying only upon cloning, but the status effects persist.Doctor's buffs have been pretty iffy, depending on how long you're dead. 95% of the time they disappear.

Does this also apply to music buffs? They are not removing themselves properly on live.
I'm not sure about Entertainer buffs. Will experiment tonight.

Did Treasure Maps get fixed?
Treasure Maps are not broken.What you MEANT to ask is, "Are most treasure maps still "obvious fakes?" IS this forgerystill so obvious thatI can only discover said larceny if I drag my butt to the back end of some planet?"
Yes. Most maps are still obvious fakes. Some maps (1/20 for me) still are valid and their loot is significantly better. Before you ask, the Junk Dealer Revamp (IMO) is a tossup. you can sell loot weapons now but the payouts are still quite accurate to the junk's value.

Faction base time shifting??? Please Please
I still check the base times on the bases in Skystone from time to time, but as we don't destroy bases often on TC (if ever) we don't test these issues a lot. Talk to your GCW Correspondent about pressuring the Devs to get this looked at. I DO know it is probably not going to be an easy bug to fix and spamming in testing and TestCenter threads with pleas may or may not help your chances of getting it noticed.
Logging on to TC and gridnign a character up to test it, then contacting a Developer/QAer most likely WILL help you get it fixed.

The Corellian Corvette. More information is unavailable as the Corvette changes daily and is not ready for Live launch. I'm personally at 11 trips to the Corvette (10 Imperial +1 neutral) so I'm working very hard to assist the Developers in getting this Dungeon ready for rollout to Live.
I've seen the AV-21 in person and it is my favorite vehicle yet. (Though it can't beat riding my Cu Pas, Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, and TaunTaun)

The new changes to droid crafting and experimentation were something of a severe nerf when it looks like we're losing our armor as well. The highest quality droid I've managed to make on TC right now won't stand up as long as a probot on live right now and is about 3 times harder to heal than the probot would be (if we had repair kits in at this time). In particular, the probot HAM (which should be our best combat droid) is even lower than it is on live right now (granted I'm not a master yet, but the highest I could get a regular probot up to on TC is 640 HAM, on live they are currently 810 HAM).
Jenden,
Remember that you're:
- Dealing with the new crafting. Droid crafting changed just form how we experiment. This was affected differently for every profession so some of the things you're seeing stem from that.
- Not using the same materials. you may be unable to compare apples to apples because you may be using different resource qualities, differently experimented tools and stations.
- Dealing with buggy changes. Even master DEs and those MUCH MUCH more informed about how droid crafting works (never actually built more than an MSE personally) are having dificulty figuring out some of the bugs and changes.
Lastly, if you have questions, Create a character on TestCenter!!! Come join us and work to make the game better. There is NO Character Copy, therefore not for the faint of heart. However, we are very happy to assist you, especially if you have knowledge of a field we do not! Any players are welcome, but those who know the ins and outs of BioEngineering, Armorsmithing, Droid Engineering and SquadLeading are especially needed on TC.
/agree with ErikAceman
Turret bug fix is good, butanyone who's lost a base won't rebuild itif we can't set our own vulnerable time in some limited way. We just can't stay up til 4am defending it all week.

Lol Sul
If you think there are any DE's out there who know more about Droidsthan Jenden, you are very likely wrong. He's just working an MDE up on TC, he's been MDE in live since Lok was formed from dust particles.
We HAVE been hit with a very spikey NerfBat, Jenden is working his behind off to help quantify just how bad it is.
Keep up the good work Jenden
I posted this on the TC forum but Jeassa told me to post it here, hopefully I catch a devs eye long enough to warrent a post ![]()
