My issues with the Swoop track.


1 - you don't stand a chance if you don't have an AV 21

2 - it has nothing to do with a swoop track, it's just a succession of waypoints in a swamp, I was extremely disappointed.

Chat channels are totally Fubar TH.


Every single one I have ever joined since the patch won't go away. I can delete the tab, and choose "leave" in the "Join Chat Channel" windows. But within mitues, while logged into the game, they come back, both adding me back AND adding the tap back.


I now have a ton of chat tabs of ones I don't care about or want to be in anymore. Please fix this for it drives me nuts. In addition, did you guys make the Auction tab perm? It immediately returns if I delete the tab. If you did make it perm, why? I don't care about those auctions, will not likely hardly ever go in there. On the small chance I auction something, I'll do it on the forums solely. It's annoying tab I don't want.


Maybe make a new option for chat rooms. A check box that defaults to NOT checked. It says "make this a perma chat channel?" If you check it at creation, just like the private chat box, it will continue to exist with the new system even after the creator logs out. But if that box is left unchecked, the chat channel does go away when the creator logs out. Or at least at server boot.

Hi, im a hologrinder working on 21st profession, BH. I dont post often, so I dont know if this is right place for this post.


Ive been trying my hardest to get through Investigation 4 but ever since the last patch, I cant complete a bounty mission without crashing. Ive been online for about 8 hrs now, constantly grinding bounty missions and so far have only completed 6 of them. Ive had more crashes than missions completed. The crashing seems really bad in coronet since the racetrack nerf. Ive noticed a lot of people LD by ticket taker. I crashed 3 times while waiting on shuttle. Now I cant make it through the login screen without swg quiting out during load. Ive tried everything. I ran a full scan and when i click start it still says it has detected a client crash... So what do I do? Is there gonna be a hotfix for it and how soon can I play swg again?



Also I dont know if this is a bug/exploit, but since last fix, bh droids are acting goofy. Both probes and seekers have unlimited uses now if you use the Find and Track Bounty option. But if you use just Find Bounty option they get used like normal.


I hope this helps somehow...


I hope we get a hotfix soon cause I want to unlock before publish, and I cant do it offline.

New Chat Channels


These little additions are nice. I can't say I've used them much, yet. There have been a lot of bugs with the entire comm system the past few days, which I imagine resulted from the changes to the chat channels. Hopefully, the problems are over, and the bugs worked out. All in all, these are a nice feature.


I really can't wait to see more channels, including what could very well be the most requested:


LFG channel (planet-wide, and another one that is server-wide)


I also would like to see more chat FILTERS added soon, to allow people to move things such as /shouts and such to a separate channel.



Bounty Hunter Changes


I think the BH profession has needed attention for a long time. Of course, I realize it's hard sometimes to pick just which profession should get your attention at any given point in time. However, I really see the change to the BH profession as not headed in the right direction. I have spoken with a LOT of people (both Bounty Hunters, and Bounty Hunters in training), and the feedback I've received is almost unanimously AGAINST the reduction in skill requirement for the profession. Many people feel that the profession is simply too "easy" to master, now. Sure, the Investigation line still takes some doing. But overall, the length of time is definitely reduced.


Further, the actual profession was left untouched, despite many broken features.


On a postitive note: The reported fixing of the BH droids is a HUGE plus to the BH community, and I think many people are delighted over this.


The MAIN problem that I see with Bounty Hunter, as it currently stands, is this:


There is a HUGE potential for player griefing where a person simply gets 3000 BH, and then creates a "Jedi-Slayer template" with the MANY remaining skill points. This, to me, is very unbalancing. I realize there is a lot of power in the Jedi's hands... but it that is as it SHOULD be. A Jedi is a Jedi, after all. The FORCE makes the person more responsive, and overall a better combatant. But that's for another thread, I think. Just please be aware of the potential explot/griefing issue with people who simply take 3000 BH for the sole purpose of getting player Jedi missions, and then using the additional 126 (yes, more than HALF) skill points to do pretty much whatever they want.


A Master Bounty Hunter should be PROUD to wear his title, and not have to rely on OTHER skills to accomplish his job. 'Nuff said.



Combat Medic Changes


Very needed. Please see about the 75% reduction soon, to make it fair.



Warcry change


Definitely needed. Potential exploits are never fun for anyone (except maybe the guy who uses it and doesn't get caught).



Swoop Racing Track


I haven't tried this yet! I will soon. Sounds very exciting!!

What did you guys do to crafting tools? I noticed a random time delay between stages. No one likes crafting anyways and you have to make it annoying? What type of monkey is running that show up there?

Can the Hermit Quest be fixed before you keep adding more stuff like the Swoop Races. The Intellect badge is still broken. Why add more Quests when existing ones dont work. Rupdog

Funny, on our server the record is held by a Jedi. And no, he didn't use a swoop or any other vehicel, just plain ole' forcerun 3

Why does the badge have to be so competitive? I think it is unfair that the guy who logs right after server reset and runs it will get the badge no matter what, yet I will never get the badge unless I run the race first.


Pick an average time (or better yet, give a time and say it was done by a real SW character, like give Han's Time), make that time beatable, but only after some practice and a few runs, and if the player beats the time, give them a badge that says "Beat So and Sos time on the So and So race track".


That's my two cents.

There seem to be some channel I cannot delete. They keep on coming back, which is quiet annoying. sometimes I cannot even delete any channels, so my screen is filled up with stuff I do not need.

another problem: a member of my PA got his Jedi onto the terminal. so far ok, he did on on purpose. now:
he stayed there for a whole week now. his mission pops up even when he is not online. we tried to get him off the terminal. with my BH he incaped me, he DBed me, I killed him. I can still draw his mission from terminal. over and over again. even after exactly 4 days not playing his mission is still there.

is this a bug or working as intended?

still another question:

I tried the soop race several times. with diferent vehicles and even a jedi with vehicle controll and AV21. but there is no way a jedi with forcerun3 can be beaten. this guys, which is understandable, are faster then anything in game, but this way no normal player can gain the badges. now, would it be possible to make the race so that you have to be mounted on anything?

I do not cry over forcerun3 here. it is fine as it is. (i do not have it, and will not have) but the racing should be for all and forcerun3 gains my friend 90 seconds to my best driving. see my point?

Its nobody's fault that the Jedi system and stuff is F*cked up. Its not even the Devs fault.....they cant help it if shiny objects catch their attention. You kno I bet the Devs are just used to their previous jobs at the DMV and arent up to date on our fast paced world. You know I wonder how many times they had to hit that good ol Oh sh*t button when their lack of programing crashed the game....Raise your hand if u logged in on day one and *gasp server crash u out 10 mins later* LOL come to think of it, that should have rose red flags with us hehe cuz it sure set the pace and what to expect from their dev team.
