Isn't making this armor just a waste of effort? Why not make something GOOD (What we've been patiently waiting for since launch) and that we'll actually wear. Sorry Devs, but this is not enough. Get back to the drawing board or you're going to see Wookiees more pissed off than ever.

i dont think it looks that bad. sort of reminds of samurai armor the way its put together. also you have to keep in mind there will more than likely be several colors and more wookiee armor in the future.

Jesus tap dancin' christ. They had to add a thumbnail (link) to the LaunchPad...It's almost as if they're proud of further humiliating the entire Wookiee race.

I want to wear that going into a PvP fight one day

People would wonder how a walkin scare crow killed them.

I just noticed this part. I guess next week is when we will get to see if we really look like laughing stocks

As a Master Armorsmith also it feels like our bone armor... *crosses fingers*

Its going to do enough to protect us and give us the AR1 Raiting witch automaticly reduces damage down by 50% and then extra if it can have layers in it..

I did laugh so hard that I just about fell out of my seat until I started looking at it...

It is very samuri like... Now I agree that the wookiee is too thin... Most of us put a good amount of muscel into the wookiees and the model in the image looks like a twig both physicaly and armor wise...

If a Samuri look is what your going for with this armor I would like it to have the rainbow of colors that Padded Armor has so that it can fit with the Samuri theme...

Though a Heavy Reliance on Organics is going to make this a tough armor to build right away... I dont mind adding some wood into the mix... but if I need Bone, Wood, Hide and small amount of metal and some kind of fiberplast to make it... It will be a pain in the butt...

So a blend of Metals wood and Hides would be ok with me... Woods are really easy to get a hold of once you know what you need... And Floral Organics seem to have a longer harvest cycle than most Inorganics

But none the less Nice work... though a bit funny... still fits in line with the concept arts from the Book in the Collectors edition Box of the game...

Thanks guys!!!!

The way I look at it, its still armor. Wookies are getting what they asked for, a way to protect their butts on the battlefield.

Now visually, I think it needs to be tweaked. Not only will I laugh at Wookies in game wearing this but everytime I look at the picture I'm reminded of the fat robot in the Wizard of Oz part 2.......somethings I would like to forget as a child. It looks like the love child of r2d2 and c3po lol.

There's no way I'm going to run around looking like a 9-foot hairy wicker scarecrow, whether Lucas approved it or not. I'll wait for the "other" concept art, thanksverymuch...

As a sidenote, if Wooks can have cool lookin stuff like the crested battle padding, why the hell is our ARMOR made of sticks and twigs??

I remember in beta it was stated in the wish list section that the wookies skin\3d was going to be redesigned because many felt that the fur was not very good in appearance and it was compared to the quality of biowares wookies in KOTOR.
Can you comment on this?

LOL, that armor does look rather funny but then again you have to consider that it's just concept art. I've seen some of the concept art for the movies and it looked nothing like what we ended up seeing on screen. Likewise, I believe that this armor will look a lot different in-game.

They just drew a very funny picture. Wierd pose and also a wrong color to use

I'm very interested in seeing what the stats are and what resources will be required to make it. I just really hope that after doing all this you guys don't goof up on the most important part - making the armor worth wearing. Everything i'm seeing so far is quite positive though, even though the armor does look funny

Very important point - if you look at the concept art for what I would guess is composite on a zabrak you will see that it also looks a bit different to what we see in game. I have every confidence that the art team will be able to work within the framework ofthe concept art to provide something very neat looking in game.
