well this is very frustrating, we waited all day to actualy get some real testing done, and after trying out the system the past week in the midst of manyproblems that were non testing related (like not havingany means to make a saber)we are again having to wait without any communication of an ETA, if your not going to have TC2 up tonight, thats cool, just please tells us

Yeevle, Its just a matter of the staff properly setting expectations.

Sure, it was easy to assume that the servers came down for the jedi fixes mentioned at the beginning of this post, but what wasn't obvious nor was I going to assumme was:

(a) what time today the servers were coming down.. hit back a few pages to see all the folks asking when this morning.
(b) how long of a down time was planned
(c) if the extended down time we're seeing is planned or due to problems, and if there are any changes due to those problems
(d) if we should wait 3 more hours for the servers to be back up or expect it to be up in 20 minutes.. i'm sure many have been constantly refreshing the char selection screen for the laast 2 hours or more.
(e) that test center[1] was going to be down all afternoon for a planned wipe & re-conversion of Test Center 2, instead of the usual hour or so to get the code fix part of todays updated.

if its going to go up today it would be now. In an hour it will be 6pm cali time and i would think thats the time the Devs get off work. So i would think it would happen with in the hour

yeah, that is why I am looking forward to testing all aspects without worring about being "ganked" by flyby opposite faction members, although, however it is still happening, in fact there is a guy on TC2 named White'ey who is a Jedi Knight with TKA abilities who is using the Ua Combo hit exploit and is basicaly ruining a lot of people controlled testing.

if you didnt know, all combo attacks, attacks that targets 3pools randomly, are bugged. They completly ignore defense stats, in our case jedi toughness and lightsaber tounghness. White'ey is just going around to all the flaged TEF jedi who are testing and basicaly KD dizzy ua combo hit 2 till dead...since jedi cannot wear armor, we take full damage (force armor is bypassed as well)

I would have reported him if the damn Customer service server wasnt bugged on TC2, this is very frustrating when were trying to test (especially when the no clone bug exists)

Rex, to refresh just go to 'create character' then go back to main menu...very simple. Oh yeah and Jedi need armor...and better LS. The padawanas i fought so far(i am a tkn with no other skillz) have all been beaten. They need some better stuff...I know there padawans and arent that strong but still...there jedi.

I dont' know about him......butthere were several of them doing it. Unfortunately with the amount of people they allowed to get into this test, and the fact that TC2 is open to the public (So to speak). You're going to get them reguardless of reports. You'll never get them all. You just have to learn to deal with it and move on.

Some of them even feel that they are testing the PvP aspect of the game.......

best way for jedi to test is go Netruel, no Tef, No flag by other faction. Once ya get done testing what ever and want to try to test the ranking. Pick a Side. Have at it.

how do you do this, because I am one of those unfortuantly people who was bitten by tthe stillunfixed launchpad checksum error bug, so it takes me 20 minutes to just log in eveyrtime, and if both worlds are down or one is loading and the other is down I have to exit and redownload all the stupid files again for 20 minutes.

if there is a way to refresh I would be in your debt for this info!

I just refresh it by selecting create a new character then backing out to the char select screen again. I hope that helps.

I cant wait untill TC2 is wiped for good and not used any more...Then I will love TC alot more. More people to chat to, more people to help you....all that stuff and a bag of chips...

Hey has any one ever left there login station screen for the game alone for a while come back and find out that you cant login unless yo reselect it all over again? Just want to know, it happened to me a few minutes ago.

Yeah really...Ive checked the game screen serveral times and it either said

TC|offline

TC2| locked

or it read:

TC:Loading

TC2: Offline

Or both offline...geeze. When this comes on It'll be like 3 Am EST and thats in a while...I should look at the bright side..Jedi pwning..if thats possible Vs

Its not looking good for today. I think they've all gone home. Would have been nice to have a "sorry unexpected problems" message before they slit for the nite.
