Thread: Feedback: Jedi Bugs and Issues
Since most of us do not have a lightsaber at the moment, the survival knife determines the damage of /forceLightning* skills. Funny thing is though, the first time you use one, from a peace state, you do like 1800 damage, after that it goes down to like 400.
OK, my character, which I didn't know I played, has been copied pver to the TC-Bria. Confused, I decided to look into it. I log on, and I am standing there, as my regular stuff, nothing popping up, nothing asking which skills I want.
So, why was my character copied? Is this a bug, where some characters dont get asked about Jedi skills?Or were certin people put on just to be used to help Jedi?
Now the Starport in Mos Eisley is bugged and you can't enter it.
The worst part is, I made an Artisan character, found someone who gave me a Mineral Survey tool, spent 5 hours collecting metal, made a gas tool and chem tool and collected some of that, traveled from Bestine to Mos Eisley and my Artisan char is now stuck insided the Starport inner ring in Mos Eisley. She can't get the materials to my Jedi Avatar.
This is absolutely insane! Even when we try to overcome the huge oversite of providing the Jedi avatars tools to get resources, we can't help ourselves.
- No Chat System
- Broken Travel System
- No commodity System
- No devs, csrs or other personnel to assist with the insanity.
Completely useless weekend for any testing. You really blew it by not taking advantage of a long holiday weekend for people to conduct long hours of thorough testing. I guess the only positive is we got an eyedropper taste of some force use and skill trees. Too bad I blocked out this weekend to do testing for you.

here are my first impressions
a) I basically have a Jedi padawan right at the beginning. I have no Jedi on live. My TC toon became FS on TC 2. I got the menu to choose skill and choose a full fledged Melee Master Swordsman / Fencer / TKA with FS enhancement and some Force Power. I made a mistake to choose some Unarmed techniques I did not want and unlearned them .. and lost the chance to raise them again ... so I have 9 skill points free that I could have invested into other powers.
b) I have only one force power (Scare animal) and cannot use it , because I do not have enough force points ( 300 ATM) ... so I cannot get Jedi Xp without getting a LS
c) I need to get resources for my LS, but cannot survey or craft tools. Fortunately I met someones NON-Jedi second character, created on TC2 for the purpose of gathering resources , and got the minimal necessary resources for a sub-standard training LS. Now I need to kill hundreds of mobs to find a color crystal. A time sink.
d) Healing others (who survey) with /tend gains me no medic XP, despite having novice medic
e) When I first entered combat, the game froze .. I had to restart
f) combat commands get stuck in the combat queue. They do not stop other commands .. so I assume its only a display error that one command is not deleted from the list. In my case it was Unarmed spin 1, in case of others it was peace.
g) I get no combat XP of any kind, but do get normal XP (unarmed in my case)
h) /bug does not work (thats why I am posting here)
i) bazaar does not work
j) /tell does not work
k) group chat does not work
i) forming chat groups does not work
2 things I noticed
1st , duelling, I think I was being choked and weakened and I incapped, I used regainconciousness and then immediatley incapped from either choke / weaken again .. rinse and repeat, I must have regained conciousness about 15 times b4 my force ran out .. shouldnt either incap stop the effects of weaken & choke / 3 incap cause death ?
2nd, on char creation I selected master combat prowess, 4400 enhanced reflexes , master LS , master forcedefender , force enhance 0004 & force healing 1000, I had 4 SP left ... from what ive read in the archives it says u must spend all points on FS / Jedi skills , it didnt let me spend those last 4 points .. ( could have been spent on FS skills![]()

Don't know if this has been posted already and if it has then my apologies.... I decided to see what skills could be dropped as the pre-padawan 'force-sensitive'skills are pretty useless without being a 'normal' character, so I decieded to drop them and found that I could. I dropped all of them, thus freeing up a nice number of skillpoints for further investing into the Force Disciplines. If this is by design then this is a great boost as it allows us to get 2 masteries and 3/4 trees of another discipline... if it is a bug however, then I thought you should be made aware ![]()
It would be nice if you let us know either way though as a lot of people are already planning their skill-trees based on info on test.
