There has to be a revamp of the planetary vendor list system and some better way to show what vendors have in stock. It is pathetic to travel to 3 planets (Tat, Nab, & Cor on a recent run) to search for resources only to find literally dozens upon dozens of empty vendors or vendors with little or no resources.


The player economy can't thrive in this environment. It frustrates the consumer. And leaves little chance for the vendors--besides those just outside of Coronet and a couple other lag-fest cities--to have many visotors to their shops. After the first 30 failed attempts to find some needed ingredients for our crafting, it doesn't exactly motivate you to search 30 more in remote areas on the small chance you will find the one worth visiting.


The one good thing from this latest seach was I now know where to buy every useless NPC drop that has ever been dropped off of a thug/punk/swooper/etc. Of course, not many recipes call for those elite components.....

Alright when are Bounty Hunters going to be able to hunt players other than Jedi?


Smugglers should be next on the BH terminals. After that? Everytime someone fails Jabba missions too many times. Either that or let Jabba become like a kind of bank and if he's not paid back within the allotted time then thatplayer's name keeps getting put on the BH terminals till the debt is paid off. And what happens to BH that fail high paying assassination attempts? Yep, put their name on the hit list as well.

Is it possible to increase the number of items a PA hall can hold? With a limit of 250 items, one would think that space would not be a problem, however if someone actually wishes to 'decorate' the entire space within the hall, the items count climbs rapidly. And it's very simple to plop down dozens of tiny little items that do not take up much space. Before I knew it, my PA hall was packed. I've cruised through it multiple times reducing the number of items it holds in an effort to make space for the items needed to complete the 'effect' my 50 or so guildmates asked for-Our PA hall is a military HQ, complete with weapon vault, armory, trophy hall, command center, barracks, offices, holding cell, data center and even a public restroom!

If a PA hall could hold just 50 items more, that would make an enourmous difference. Would that be possible?

ok here are all my opinions on the changes needed

professions


  • revamp of many professions ( or nerf a few of the stronger ones, and nerf the difficulty of many npcs and animals ) pistoleer, carbinner, pikeman, bouny hunters, ect... CM CH Comandos swordsman and fencers shouldnt be able to take all of the glory and be strong. when i go to FT i am trying to get xp toi get better!!! not have some gay master comando come and kill the tuscan i am fighting! they dont need the xp i do, i dont mind them being there as long as they dont come up and scortch and kill my enemy in 1 shot!!!!

  • more weapons, not special ones like geo and mando ones, just regular every weaponsmith can makle weapons.

  • one page 1 there was a thing about more transportation methods. i agree there needs to be more, but the devs are doing a good job every publish to fix that. so just wait and see

Random things



  • more player town features!!! i cant stress this more, there isnt much randomazation. add just empy builds for looks or skyscrapers for looks or somthing. maybe add town GCW battlefields once pub 11 comes out so the bigger PTs that are mixed can just have fun. have some type of reward for your faction winning that day if you contributed.

  • storage houses that take up 1 lot

  • guild halls take up less lots. i have a gen guild hall in Bob Paradise, and i am down to 1 lot. well hmm what should i do with my lot set up a minner for my architect biz? what it takes up 2lots? i know a small house for storage! what i cant do that either!!! what can i do? only put a personal minner up that does my little good

  • more types and styles of house. maybe have a feture that architects can make a custom floorplan. they have like 20 types of rooms ( shapes of rooms )to choose form, they drag it into a screen then put another room somewhere next to it, then pupt a door where they want. This would so be awsome and be so much more individual. it would completely revive the architect profession ( which doesnt need nerfed or revamped ).

  • more professions...i dont know just there are getting to be more people these days and more professions are needed. maybe like a rancher/ and farmer. a farmer could raise fuits and vegis ect... to sell to chefs and can be used to enhance stats. a rancher could raise critters and get there hide, milk, bone ect and sell it. or have high brid bio enged animals making for better pets. off of the basic thing there could be a million

  • other professions like senator to go along politician. there could be one senator per town and they all could have as special forum to decide new things, then tell the devs and it comes into place. not big things that control the games fate but small things. also i think that imps should literaly be able to become stormies ( another profession ) and rise up tru the ranks and become like a royal gaurd or what ever. rebels could also have a higher role in the GCW

those are my opinions, i have many more. all of thesess things need to be touched up or come into act.

TH & Devs,


I've read a few (dozens) of the in concept posts and I see nothing about something that bothers me quite a bit. I know you are all busy with current revamps, E3, and the Space Expansion, however, I've been bothered by the fact that you all OBVIOUSLy spent a significant amount of time in developing many great structures in the major cities and they are currently being ignored by the players!


I'm talking aboutall of the great hotels, theaters, and very cool cantinas (downed ships on Tatooine) that are currently live and VERY functional in-game. I mean, there was a significant amount of time drawing up the layout, code, and functionality of these structures and they are just sitting there taking up net-space and code. No one is using them!! i happened to be on Tat the other night and I stopped by the cantina (not sure what the name is but it's one of the two downed ships) and I walked in looking for a fit to my BF. I was with a noob friend and he was in awe at the complexity of the structure. He quicly realized that there are rooms where you can gamble, private rooms with NPC's in them and a ton of cool nooks and crannies that can be explored. There was, however, not a single soul in the place and his comment was "this seems like such a waste" why don't they implement this in the current game more?


Well....why don't ya!?!? You spent so much time designing these I think you should focus a portion of the dev team to generate items of interest for such structures. I think something like benefits to logging out in a hotel, or little titdbits of loot gained from NPC missions in theses structures,or, better yet, making the gambling thing actually work in the game. the card tables come to mind, as do the slot machine thinghies. Payout is not worth the time involved in using them so they get ignored.


It would make sense that, as others have said, there should be stuff in cities that is usable by noobs and veterans alike. Not sure how to implement it but I appreciate the effort it must have taken do develop these buildings so it seems fair that they get used....

...Another gripe of mine is that as a Creature Handler I travel to a lot of planets to look for rares and such. I've noticed, lately, that a lot of the planets are ghost towns. Take Talus for example. My guild used to have a city there and we moved to a different planet due to the "boring" nature of the place. There was never anyone there! The major cities are ghost towns and the mobs, after a while, became mere nuisances rather than fun to attack. Is there a plan in place to turn this around and to take away the fact that planets like Talus and Rori are being deserted due to the lack of content? i think the only planets with significant action now are Dathomir, Coronet, Tatooine, and Naboo. Others like Yavin are populated only around the major attractions like the Geonosian lab. This is not only frustrating but seems like a waste of code and energy. I am afraid that, though i am really looking forth to the Space Expansion, I'm terrified of the outcome looking like this. Will all human players just simply take flight and desert the planets? I know that you will implement the "fixing up of ships" as a planetbound activity and planet life will never die out but I'm afraid of seeing the "ghost towning" of major planets increasing after Space comes out.


Please let us know if a fix for this issue is in the works...

Bugs
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1: Whisper Bird missions on Yavin still bugged/duds

2: Rubber band effect of dismount still going strong (some times up to 150m from dismount spot)

3: Up command in /movefurniture up xx still very flakey (hardly ever works for me)

4: Animation on harvesters still flakey (mainly heavy mineral)

5: Factory Crates of mines still read 0

6: Mine Fields not working at all for Rebels

7: After "storing" speeder bike it is still in the world and you can still be on it. Calling it again causes another instance of it.

8: About every 3rd Bounty Hunter mission is bugged

9: Most of Pistoleer Prof. is bugged/not working

10: Ticket Collector still needs to be clicked a number of times to function

11: Jawa Ion rifle does not work on lairs

12: You can still get a TEF even if your OVERT

13: Getting stuck on speeder in front of THEED starport - attempting to store bike causes a type of cant fit in inventory error, and dismounting is nonfunctional!

14: In you grand attempt to fix the -shooting through walls of faction bases to kill troopers on the outside for faction farming exploite - you made it so that when fighting them on the outside of the base they are able to walk through the retaining all like it wasnt even there!



Imbalances
----------------------------------------------------

1: Faction Turrets still FAR FAR FAR too weak both in damage and hitpoints

2: Rifleman Jawa rifle need a HUGE nerfing to 1/2 power or less

3: Combat Medic or DOC badly needs AREA poison / Disease cure

4: All GEO weapons need to be taken out of the game or nerfed big time

5: Armor needs to be completely redone and PLEASE do not add any super loot armor (ris) this causes HUGE Imbalances

6: Total number of Jedi needs to be regulated to no more then 20%-30% of server population

7: Cost of repair on Speeder, and Swoops is actually more then it cost to make a new one. Now its cheaper to buy CRATES of speeder and throw them away when they blow up - desposable bikes is that the intention here?



General Problems
----------------------------------------------------

1: All new content (GEO Cave / Corvett) is being added for only elite combat people. This is a total outrage and needs to be delt with we need new content that ALL players can enjoy!

2: Moons such as Rori and Talaus need some harder POIs to attract trafic and people to them. POIs on these moons pose no challange for elite combat players.

3: If you have a TEF you cant even enter you own established residence. TEFed people should have access to all buildings in the city they live in, and Guild Hall they belong to.


NOTE: This list is just the beginning, I will be bumping and adding more as I go!

Someone mentioned a rancher profession. This was a genius idea. I would make this as an elite non-combat profession. My reasons for this are to insinuate the type of help a rancher would need. You'd need help froma: architect for obvious reasons, a bio-engineer, a creature handler to get beasts of burden, droid engineer for factory and mechnical farming, and contact list of assorted chefs to sell to. If this profession were an elite profession, there would not be enough skill points to "solo" it and master the other professions mentioned above. I don't want to get too detailed on how it would work, as I'd rather have someone else add to, or critique, this ( maybe the penguin guy that mentioned this in the first place ).
