The auction channel is pushed to all clients. So all
infos put on there is send to _all_ clients.
Maybe you have the folks in /ignore, so that you dont
see their messages, maybe you dont read the Channel.

It does not matter. Your client and your internet
connection has to handle this.

The old channels were "subscribable", so you only get
the infos you needed to get. The old "spamplaces" like
Coronet and Theed you could avoid or at least know that
you have lag there.

Now people with slower internet connections are always
bombarded with useless information, and even if some
"fun guilds" with high internet connections decide to
prepare a raid with bombarding the auction channel, it
will lag all players...

Please change the system, so to send the infos just to
the ones who want to read them!

  • Added a minimum throw time to combat medic apply disease and apply poison

  • Corrected a bug that allowed combat medics to throw at twice the range listed on poisons and diseases

    • While its nice to have some things fixed, are you sure this is an actual fix or not?

Since this patch, I have had no problem throwing poison/disease, but lots of problems with Area heals on my master CM/Master Doctor alt.

For example, I made some crappy Area C out of left over components/resources, that ended up with baserange of 24m.

Now, for some reason, I keep getting a message saying "target is out of range for this action" when I try to heal someone 8m away from me using an Area heal, and it isnt just 8m away either, it seems completely random, at times the heal will go off at around 6-10m, other times it will give the out of range message, same with distances of around 15-30m, sometimes it will heal, other times it gives the message.

Is this really how it should be?? what range bonus do we get now at Master CM??? if the base range on an Area Heal is around 24m, how far is that supposed to be able to heal now??

Have to agree with everyone asking for the Auction channel to be deletable. i have no idea who thought this was going to be a good idea, wasnt it blatently obvious that this was going to be a spam channel ?

Please allow us to delete it or get rid of it totally

sadly, all is not well in the world of shadowfire racing.

as i was finishing my lap, two players (dont know who) were yelling at eachother that they cheated. there might be an exploit the devs might want to look into,

I have been trying to create a character on farstar and I chose a human. Now when I try to change any of its features in the customizing screen nothing happens. My human just looks like he is on drugs. Some of the species work, trandoshan works fine but not humans.

This has only recently started and could be related to either publish 9 or 9.1

oh ive also rebooted and done a full scan

      Edited:

I just tried on test center-bria and it worked fine.

I also tried a human female and only some of the features could be changed. Could someone have a look at this and confirm it isnt only me.

i really want a human male on farstar

Feel free to actually read some posts before posting items such as"273 is way too fast, must be an exploit, devs look hard" when it has been mentioned several times, and not just by me, that times under 280 sec are very possible, but not by vehicles. It is done by jedi using Force Run 3 and is techically NOT an exploit, because every official blurb I have seen talks about "drive(vehicles), ride (mount), or run (on foot) to each wp. Even if it is not an exploit, it is not very fair in a sporting sort of way to hand swoop racing over to the jedi. ( You know how those jedi are always a bunch ofdiva publicityhounds always looking for fame, glory and above all, EXPOSURE. It sounds like this was tested on TC, why else would somebody run around a swoop track on foot.

A few quick fixes to suggest would be to somehow not allot the jedi Force Run skill, although since it is just logging you through checkpoints it might not be possible, or a biger fix would be to have a few classes of best time of the day for foot, vehicle and creature mount classes, but then peeps would want a separate class for each vehicle, each type of mount etc SWG players are a whiney bunch, "Why is my three legged brackaset slower than your Kaduu?" Maybe it has something to do with "Mount slows down to prepare for combat" lol

I'm so happy it's not just me who feels that the new Auctionchat tab is a major inconvenience.

Do you know the A-Team? You know, with B.A., and Hannibal, and Face and that fellow whose name I can't think of right now. Well, they were so incredibly smart, they could make a howitzer from two cans of paint, a piece of string, duck tape, and ahard boiled egg. Thinking along the same lines here, having a full staff of game engineers at their disposal, would it be so difficult to alter the Auction channel so that I can delete it?

yeah spaz i am the one that runs the RFC on corbantis (the rebel chat) and I noticed the same thing. We were all waiting for you to log and have a heartattack seeeing all us rebels . To solve this problem you have to find the person that created it and have them destroy it. then spawn the chat like normal. this sets all the correct permissions and invites and such. its anyoing as hell. if chats are goign to be "persistent" make SYSTEM create the channel and have the previous creator as a moderator/owner. from their you could ad the feature of persistent invite lists or just leave it to the mod/creator to invite everyone.

Yeah, I've had to do that already a couple of times, but the problem is that a lot of our early-morning people (from a Pacific timezone standpoint) are on at that time because they're overseas, and do not play during state-side "daylight hours."

Something that used to work was if everyone left the channel it would automatically get destroyed, but now with people auto-joining at all times during the day as soon as they login, you'd have to be one lucky **edit** to get everyone out of the channel at the same time.
