I was disappointed when I saw the first proposal, but this way is perfect. Well done devs
and TH
I do look forward to some kind of improvements in the vendor interface, though. Most important for me is a way of selecting multiple items for sale at a single price (perhaps have an option to unbundle a crate of items automatically)

Oh, trust me, Mr. DocSavag has these and many others.

Now, if we could just geta"re-list all" button to instantly re-list everything in the stockroom at the same amount they were orginally listed, I would give all the devs a big wookiee hug!
RELIST ALL or just a RELIST button so I don't have to doa detailed look at every item to see the previous price. I'll click the button 100 times in a row gladly.
These are great suggests to get to DocSavag

p.s. Thanks TH and Devs keep up the good work!

TH, do you really think that DocSavage hasn't heard these before? I'm pretty sure they've been on the Merchant issue list for a while. I even vaguely remember a post where he asked us to get him ideas on the interface changes, and I'm sure it was there. We just keep bringing it up, because it's a royal PITA to relist stuff.

For those of you u keep going what about the Doc's. I am a Master Doc and a Master Merchant on 1 character. If u are a Master Doc u do have the skill points left to sell things.

I still think it should be 200 items at Business III and then +150 at business IV and on up.

See, those are probably the 'docs' that claim they have to harvest their own meat, so they HAVE to have combat skill, so the CANT get merchant to sell them. Guess they havent realized that other people out there DO SELL items also. Maybe they would have some of the meat or resources that they needed..

I think with this new, new change to merchant vendor limits we have a winner. I can only be assured this because there has been much less outcry from the community on this post. Now, I have to get in game and check out my limits

For pete's sake, Thunderheart--suggestions like the RELIST ALL suggestion have been made more or less since a week after launch. Doc Savage has included suggestions just like that one before.
It's truly annoying to have you pop in and say "Great suggestion, get it to the correspondent", as if these sorts of things haven't been asked for by merchants for over a year.

Why doesn't the stockroom re-stock the vendor ?
If I put up 100 of the same item with the same description and the same price.... why can't the vendor just list it with a number showing how many of them are in stock ? One listing for a 100 items.. Hmm those might be things more for a merchant revamp though I guess...

Next we will have the factory nerf Factories can only take like 10 items. Factories are not intended for storage and yes it would work but will again increase the number of lotrades (and that's also something SOE doesn't like)as people would like to have storage factories and running factories.
Man....they won'tnerf factories to 10 items.
When I make a run of 20 crates of Vasarian Brandy it takes 82 items in the ingredients slot:
-20 crates of casks
- 40 crates of Alcohol
- 20 crates of BE additive
- 1 stack of berries
- 1 stack of fruits
you took the post out of it's context so it doesn't mean anything

I'm notreally favor of setting limits like this, but these most recent changes are far more acceptable and I can work with it. I'd like to thank Mike for the changes he enacted which allow us an aggregate limit instead of a per vendor limit. I think it is also really cool that we can have more vendors now. I'm looking forward to a change that allows us to sell for other people, ie. we can add them as a vendor admin and they can put stuff up on the vendor and we get a % of the profits for them using our vendor. That would make us real merchants. Thank you for communicating with us on this TH.

Thanks for the info LM.... the few times i take some timeto read forums i never took the time to figure how they work
This will be last post I write on this particular topic or else my head will explode. Just insert mechanics for Merchants either to give admin rights to someone... or be able to "sell" vendors to someone. Theres a million things you can do to make master merchant more desirable but by alienating all the little guys/gals out there like me is rediculous. We have 2 choices.
Craft and get beat up by correlian butterflys..... or drop crafting and run jantas for hours. These are not viable choices atm. Im tempted to take my SWG disc back to walmart and tell them that sorry this game is "broken" after a year with SWG this is by far the most annoying thing i have seen to date. Just before its inserted into the game get the cool mechanics working first so were not waitng for the next patch that gets pushed back a 2 days every day and then magically its just dont happen till JTL (Combat rebalance)
Make vendors adminable!! Allow Merchants to "sell vendors" or for the love of god dont do anything. Last post i swear
