Thanks for the update, I'm glad alot of things are getting fixed. It has been a journey to see since day one(no one could play)..err.. I meant day two since the game is live, been here since then. Keep up the great work, now to those that are not happy with the game(trolls and bashers) no one is obligating you to stay and play the game, feel free to find another game and leave the SWG community.

They are trying to fix the game, alot of things are coming, I know how it is, I was a master brawler, master pikeman and master ch for along time. Compare the game since day one until today, is way better than it was and getting even better as we speak. I thank all of our player representatives on trying to bring up the bugs and exploits to the devs, I salute all of you.

Thanks everyone for listening, take care.

You people do realize that spamming one-stars on important questions, and spamming 5 star on anything Jedi-related won't really affect anything, right?

I think the only way we're going to see the right thing happen this time, is cancelling our accounts. Why bother at this point? Jedi come before the namesake of the game, even a "social publish" is coming before the game's namesake.

I don't know who is the head of this game, but they have some seriously screwed up perceptions of what's important and needs fixing ASAP. My money is it's Runesabre who runs the show now? The guy who added neon clothing to UO...

Account: Cancelled

Maybe I'll reopen it when you fix your damed priorities. Or at least when you openly admit:

  • The only thing that matters to you is Jedi.

  • Money from new subscribers.

  • Old subscribers mean **edit** to you.

Because that's exactly what you're saying currently. And it makes me sick.

Majority > Minority
Galactic Civil War > Jedi
Initial customer base > new subscribers who haven't dealt with a fraction of the **edit** we've dealt with.

So go ahead and 1 star me all you want. It just goes to show how 4% of the servers (Jedi) think they're so much more important than the majority. As usual.

Well have fun playing this broken, half finished game. I'll be saving my 30$ a month for for something else.

Yay! More kneejerk reactions and threats to quit!

Observation 1: If you were really so disgusted with the game your were quitting, you would not care about it's future development, ergo...

Observation 2: If you were really quitting you would not post it here.

These kinds of posts help nothing, save to establish what a short-sighted, selfish player you are. You truly belong playing a single player game.

Continuous 100% dedication to fixing all known issues (bugs) reduces the amount of time spent on, and slows the development of, new and interesting things being added to the game. This makes for a stale, single-player game with thousands of single players playing at the same time. Continuous 100% dedication to developing and adding new content as quickly as possible with zero regard for functionality makes for a massive game with lots of potentially neat things that don't work at all.

While the latter may have been true in the early stages of the game, you cannot say that this game functions worse than it did six months ago. You also cannot say that the game does not function better than it did six months ago. To deny that new things have been added in six months that didn't exist at launch is to fool no one but yourself.

SIGNIFICANT strides have been made to increase functionality in broken content and core systems. Exciting new things such as mounts, vehicles, cities, lighting lamps, new rare loots, and new dungeon content have been added every month.

Is the game perfect? Does EVERYTHING work as intended (yet, or ever the first time)? No. It's the nature of the beast. I wish the developers had the ability or right to post every single line of code that encompasses this game in it's current state. I wish that the ME ME ME NOW NOW NOW OR I'LL QUIT posters were then tasked with fixing the broken items themselves and then adding new content, all whilst receiving threatening and demeaning emails from hundreds of people. C'mon, everyone here who criticizes the developers is an expert coder and game designer and knows they can do better!

As far as lack of communication on upcoming developments: it's very easy to say you're going to create something in x amount of time, and it's going to look/work this way, before you've actually committed to doing it. Actually DOING it is an entirely different proposition. What if the proposed item or feature simply didn't work in reality as it worked on paper? What if the new system, in the end, couldn't be supported by the engine? Then you'd have hundreds of angry mobs on the forums whining and crying and threatening and demeaning because YOU PROMISED ME. That alone is why new content is not discussed or promised until it is virtually finished and tested in-house. TH has said this twenty billion times and no one ever listens to him.

Once again I'm going to say THANK YOU to the developers for your hard, dedicated work on this game. You have turned a massively bugged game with lots of potential into a fun and VASTLY improved gaming experience that gets better every month. If it's going to take longer than you realized to develop some of the core system changes (such as the combat revamp), then I would rather have a quality change delivered late than a half functional change delivered early. I will either a) continue to hunt and PvP under the current system until it is finished or b) focus on my crafter/entertainer characters and explore the many other aspects of the game. Truthfully speaking, I don't play as much as I used to, while awaiting a lot of the significant combat changes to come to pass. But I do enjoy the game significantly and don't forsee leaving for a LONG time. 9/10 times I log in to one of my characters I can at least find something amusing to do to pass the time, or friends to hang out and BS with.

In short, if you're quitting, quit. Don't tell me about, don't tell the Devs about it. No one cares. And no one is missing out because of your departure but YOU.

Ok, guys, I'll tell you what.

Restore the creatures to the stats they had prior to the December nuclear strike on creatures, and we'll wait indefinitely for the combat rebalance.

Otherwise, you need to follow through on the plan that you offered as justification for the massive nerfing of CH and creatures in general.

Right now, buffed and armored TKAs are soloing red cons on every server. Yet when a CH did this with a graul mauler or two, it was a major imbalance and a sin against the "intent". Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, devs. Something stinks to high heaven.

It all sounds very exciting and I will wait with baited breath to see how it turns out.

My only concern is that these sort of 'dreams' have been fed to us for the last 3 years now yet there is still so much wrong with this game

It's statements like 'We don't like the holo grind Jedi ssystem either' that really worry me, I mean that was your idea not ours, if you didn't like it and when Jedi was discussed before Beta and people talked about wanting a quest driven system why didn't you go for that instead?

There is also the countless minor bugs that seem to be being pushed aside in favour of more new 'bugged' content.

Please remember that you have a number of people who like to do the little things in SWG and the little touches can make as much of an impact as the major one's.

For example, harvesters not animating, pointless NPC quests, vehicle storage and repair issues etc etc etc.

*News Flash*

The ship is sinking devs! Many of us devoted players are bailing out water as fast as we can and you all are asleep at the helm!

Not one darn bug in the CGW bases was actually fixed?

CombatFix is now a 3-4 month project?

Two patches with nothing more than Jedi content/crap?

Droids are STILL worthless for the most part?

Pikemen is STILL a forgotten class?

Commando's still only have ONE real weapon?

We still have bugs that have never been fixed for 10 months?

The above are ALL things that you devs keep telling us are fixed or are going to be fixed yet NEVER do get fixed! In the business world this is called a LIE folks...

You don't have 3-4 for more months guys/gals!

Pull your heads outta the sand and fix the dang game before it's too late...

I signed up for neither Jedi nor GCW. I signed up because the game promised to be casual friendly, without the EverQuest emphasis on spawn camping and phat lewt. I signed up because the game had such potential for PvE. Now you're adding monthly dungeons, which are group only, and require far more time than I have in a single session. You're saying the end-game should be the GCW, which you've made PvP only.

And plenty of people are happy with that. So be it, I will find another game.

Boycotting the GCW. I don't force you to PvE, don't force me to PvP!

Look at my Registered date: 6-26-03. It's not like I haven't given them plenty of time to fix this game. I actually stated playing in Beta 2. This game has gone more down hill then it has gone up hill. Where are battle fields?? Oh yeah they have been broken since beta like everything else in this game. After 9 months of paying for a game that is still total crap, I have to call myself a retard for not cancelling earlier. Count my account cancelled as of today. Now I just wish I hadn't paid for a year subscription....

So we've gone from "majority comes first" to "coddle the Jedi"?
Screw this game, seriously. What kind of jokers are making the decisions around this place?
Jedi get coddled with hotfixes and publishes, and yet what about Pikeman, Smugglers, Droid Engineers, etc? These professions have been *TICKLED* over since June and still they get *FLOWERS*. And yet, Jedi? Oh no! God forbid they have to wait even a publish to get love around here.
Galactic Civil War > Jedi.
You don't think I'm right? Fine. Enjoy a game full of Jedi - while the majority of your playerbase says *PUPPIES* and moves on to games where the majority comes first everytime, not whenever you deem us worthy.

Muhahaha!!!
