You keep telling everyone to read the post, but all you refer to is where he says that those who qualify under the new system are granted visit by Old Man. The problem is, you have no idea what qualifies you under the new system because the post does not explain that.

Well for the positive angle, maybe the Old Man is mainly visiting those who have the longest journey in the new system. Those that have lots of holocredit will probably be visited later because they already will have a few weeks headstart on everyone else.

What im about to state here is only wut I've noticed. I've noticed that ppl that have been getting visited were ppl that we glowing as of pub 10, and were imps. Wut i think is that today all imps are visited, next day rebs, and last the unlockers (post 9). Just something I've noticed and am not sure about

Ok people.

You have to have a certain set of badges to get the inner glow. I didmy last two I needed to get my inner glow ( I will not post what they are you have to use that thing between your ears and figure it out). I went from faint to glow in about 3 hours of work on top of the badges I already had. Now TH said "Since there is a large wave of players that will be going through the system, we are going to be monitoring traffic daily as players start and finish the Force Sensitive quests. When enough people have completed their path, we will open it up the village to the next group. Groups 1 – 4 will qualify for a visit when the village traffic has died down. Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man." OK what he means here is that Holo grinders will be slowly fed though the system to make sure that it does not becomelagged down so bad that the server crashes. Anyone else that gets the inner glow from the new system will not have to wait. They will get the visit within the 72 Hrs that the old man is suppose to come. That is how I understand it.

We understand he WILL come, the problem is he was not supposed to come for those who were not glowy when Pub 10 was released. Well not until after the Old Man visited everyone else.

Thats what you *thought* - if you had read the post by TH, you would have understood.

Enlighten me then, cause I know someone who was visited who only mastered 3 professions. So, since you are so intelligent why don't you quote the part where TH says that people with 3 professions mastered and were not glowy on patch day get to be visited by the Old Man before people who unlocked 2 days after Publish 9.

Ok I'll go slow....

In this thread.. at the top.. click the lil << this will be PAGE ONE right in TH original post, it says :

Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.

Oh I get it now, it seems if you were already qualified before the patch you are screwed. Those who qualify afterwards will gain automatic visit by Old Man. That's just great, lol.

I was qualified before the patch. I got my visit this morning. *shrug*

Relax man.

It could take up to three days to get a visit.......

The old man will visit you when you have completed the requirements of the new path to becoming a Jedi. While this new path is still a secret, it is no where near as daunting as the holo-professions method. We have made additional provisions for those that worked partially through the old system.

Really, tell me how you are so sure about who is qualified and who isnt.

Walker you are an idiot fanboi, that about sums you up.

Heh heh. I just read what was given for info. Didn't jump to conclusions, didn't spaz i didn't get my old man when I logged in yesterday. I just went and hunted some meat, did a mini-theme park. Adn everything happened *exactly* the way it was told to us. I dont mean totrash people just for trashing them, It just bothers me a little that everyone seems to get SO MAD over stuff that has been explained already.

There are definate problems with the game. There are things that are totally f*** up. I think alot of work needs to be done and this is still a late beta test.

But this part is working. who knows if the sith are working heh heh.

People who got their glow after me are getting in while I'm not. This is not fair. I qualified before them.

And when I come back here after the third day withouta visit, what will you all say then?

Damn that dirty old man. (>*o*)>

you can not be sitting in a city or a player city. He will not visit you there you have to be out in the wild.

"Can someone clerify for me please........

3 Master before Holo. 3 holo Masters then 4th was silent. 17 total Masters later P10 hits.
Ok ASSuming 8 holo skills needed and ASSUMING silent holo ment I had 4 of the 5 or 8 no telling which, where the heck am I in the group pecking order? Am I in group 4 or 3? Am I even in a group? How do I know? What is all this glowy stuff?"

you want to type /check to see your force status, which only affects if the old man will visit you yet or not. and even if you glow and the force is with you, you then have to wait for your group.

As for your group, that is unknown, but you can guestimate based on your stats.

When you get your silent, that means you have done 4 of your 8 professions. You got your silent after 6 masters. After those 6 you still needed 4 more masters out of 26 left that you hadn't done.

With 26 masters left, you did 11 more, which is 42% of them. If you had done half of your remaining professions, the odds are you would of done 2 of the 4. You didn't quite make it half way. So the odds are that you nailed 1 more profession, or 2 if you are a little lucky. You can check the chart to see where 2 or 3 professions shorts leaves you on the group list.

But remember that is just probability that I posted, based on potential averages. You may of found all but 1 of them, or you may not of found any of them.
