Im just another stupid noob, as some of u call ppl that have a voice. I could care less about Jedi, just another pointless profession. What do u get to do? grind and grind and grind some more. I would rather see Bounty Hunters get a revamp, or Smugglers (pointless profession). Here is another idea instead of what ppl are suggesting.....This is supposed to be a war correct? Rebels against Imperial right? Why isnt there more live events? Example How about a PVP battle in Anchor Head..Two detachments one to the north one to the south. being in a few doctors and musicians for healing ppl a rebel recruiter and imp recruiter and let us battle it out till one base falls. I say who gives a total crap about jedi....theywerent warriors they wereprotectors. I would rather see more action not more of the S.O.S. I gues im just a noob that has no clue and i have never played ne vidoe games b4 this one.
I spend hours playing this game on two different servers, so i doknow alittle something about this game
Please dont nerf ne more of the things that are in the game I think there is certian things that dont need changing
TH bro i know u have to put up with alot of crap from ppl like me, and im pretty sure that your abilities to change things are limited.
So I would rather have a silent answer than one that is going to frustrate me even more.
A conserned customer that loves Star Wars.....but is very close to finding another game to play

I second that.
OK, now lets say,
Player A
- Did 3 Holocrons professions (4th was silent).
- Did 6 total professions.
- Did The Light Jedi quest 2 times
- Dark Jedi quest 1 time ( coudl do them both before they added the reset)
- Has 3/4 of all POI badges.
- Did Jabba's themepark. (Nym, and his goons wont talk to me)
- Did Rebel themepark (2 times)
DID NOT DO (yet)

Player B ground 26 professions and nothing else.
Why is Player B Glowing and Player A faint in the force?
If I knew then, what I knew now I would have macroed for months instead of playing the game!

er.. umm.. heh heh They qualified under the new system.. exactly like was stated in the original post.
Yeesh.I glowed before them. I'm more qualified and should've gotten a visit. Hologrinders with glowies are as qualified as me (their bonus being the FS skills) yet a lot of them aren't getting visits either. Yet somebody who glowed today did? IT IS SCREWED UP.
I qualify under the new system, hologrinders qualify under the old system, but mr. glowy on the 1st gets the visit? WHAT THE ****

It snot a quenker lair. You dont stand in a line and kill it when it respawns. Compare it to the hero of tat quest. Just because you had the boar, and stood in the desert for 5 days doesn't mean the pirates are going to spawn. If someone else leaves mos eisley and finds the priate spawn, well, do you put in a ticket saying it isn't fair? The big bonus post-9 unlockers get is they get the xp once they get to the village. When you are pissed that people who got the old man under the new system have thier visit, remember you will be jumping light years ahead. I have 300k combat xp. You are gonna have all the xp for the whole trees. Thats a big bone and I think it is well desrved if you have done 30+ profs.
Everything TH said in his post has happened exactly as he laid out.
He will come to you. Soon.
The problem is people are upset he didn't spawn in ten minutes like on TC2, got upset and never took the time to read his post.

I think there's no posts from them today because Thunderheart's original post was already pretty comprehensive. Yeah, there are a few lingering issues... there always are, but most problems/ questions/ complaints added to this thread would be answered just by a more careful reading of the original post and the follow-ups. If anyone is having trouble finding TH's follow-up comments, use the Dev Tracker. It's a pretty handy tool.

There has been a great disturbance in the Force..................... and it broke the server lol
Cant believe everyone has waited so long for this andare complaining over over a slight delay which ultimately will result in a much more enjoyable and ordered game experience for most of us. Anyone who played on the test centre 2 when patch 10 was being tested will remember the plaintive cries of almost the entire server population wailing..."where's the sith?" whilst camped outside the village. Im sure no-one would enjoy this and an almost equal amount of people would be complaining because of this, that and the other if there was no gating in place. Believe me, I'm not happy about it but I understand and accept why the decision was made
That aside, it would be nice if the devs managed to do maybe a 4 hourly post, even a statement to say they are aware of the issues blah blah blah. Unfortunately the positive and negative feedback is lost with some people using the forums and game to endlessly complain.... so far, the people i know in game and people ive read on the forums were the ones who complained with each successive patch. I can therefore understand why there isnt much of this as any message the devsdo postis disassembled and prodded until black turns into white!!!
I play this game because I actually enjoy it and not because I am consumed with an overpowering urget to complain, moan and whine each time something goes a bit awry which seems to be the reasonsome people play. It can be frustrating and infuriating and downright unfair but it can also be extremely enjoyable and entertaining and usually its because of the other players in the game as well as the content......
Give the devs a break, go and do something fun in swg or out of it..... go see a movie ar watch one of the Star Wars movies at home. This game isnt all there is to life... put it into perspective, it's a game.

Because they won't have to click a zillion times to hologrind their FS slot???
Because they'll have to do the content that's in the game???
Because everyone now has a reasonable chance at having some force sensitivity???
Because now players will be able to have some force sensitivities and not be Jedi's???
If everyone is screaming for their "visit" to the village...god... that's ONLY the very first step in a FOREVER long road (if you're insane enough to try to be a Jedi).
There are bugs...problems, etc... but imho, this is a great move by the developers!! And makes the world much more "alive".
Look at all the people that have come back online!!! Isn't that great!!!

Thas is messed up I am still waiting for a visit from the Old Man. I unlocked on the 22nd prof, the second day has gone. I have done 23prof, 100bages and unlocked but i am glowey? what the hell is going on? People that havn't unlock are getting visited before me? I feel silghly better for having a winge about it, but the fact is nothing will be done about it angers me more.. looks like the people that have unlocked not going to be jedi for a long time.
The old man has to be bugged..

For crafter types: It would be nice if the old man could visit you in your workshop while you're crafting. Because crafters rarely spend 1 to 3 days in the wilderness hanging out waiting to be eaten by Narglatches and the likes.

Well if it makes you unlockers feel any better I haven't gotten a visit either (glowing at pub10). I have done everything people ahve said to do on the forums, and nothing to show for it after multiple hours of waiting. Horrible luck > me.

Come to me soon. Yeah. Right. 10 minutes? Ha. Try 17 hours. 17 hours of futile waiting. Surely, SURELY people who unlocked their glowy yesterday or today should be behind me, somebody who was glowing the moment I logged on to patch 10, meaning I unlocked it long before then (I actually stopped collecting badges 3 days before patch 10 day.
