Yes this is correct. Shortly before my buddy was attacked by the sith he received a new quest in the journal about dfending the crystal. I am expecting that you should expect the same. My crystal came without the quest you mention in my journal......it says nothing about the old man, it says nothing at all......

Maby its worth keeping an eye on the journal to see when it changes so we know

I took a shuttle to riverlands today and none of the structures showed up...even the shuttleport. Even tho the shuttleport was not visible I was still blocked by the walls and had to figure out how to get out of it. After waiting around for about 3min I pulled out my speeder and started to move around and the structures showed up. This seems like a lag issue.

Dear Thunderheart,
I have just logged out to go to work. I was in for 13 hours on the first day of patch 10. I was in for 8 hours on the second day of patch ten. I was in for over 6 hours today. I will not be able to play again until tomorrow, which will mean that at a minimum I will get a visit on the fourth day! I am a post 9 unlocker with the fscs unlock message with all 32 professions done.
Questions...
#1 Why is it that we were told that if we unlocked between publishes 9 and 10 that we would fall under the old system?
Example: Under the old system when you unlocked you created your jedi from scratch so going on that theory I grinded my main guy up to a support class because I would be creating my jedi. Now that has changed and all that work was for nothing and I will have to create a new character and re-grind the professions I just did to get the support classes back.
#2 Why is it that people with 3 week old accounts and 5 mastered professions are being visited by the old man before 1 year veteran players with all 32 professions mastered?
( I have had the old man walk right by me twice so far only to watch them walk up to characters that when I examine them they have only done 5 or 6 professions total )
#3 Wouldn't it have been more fair to let people that unlocked between 9 and 10 to create their jedi's or at a minimum not had to wait for any old guy or do any missions? While you are at it I would like to know of your definition of "automatic" and how it applies to people with no professions left to grind being "automatically" entered into the city? Surely automatic doesn't mean waiting till you are the old man....
#4 Since I won't be getting my visit from the old man till the fourth day who do we get flame for being incompetent and not being able to count the fingers on a single hand? There is a difference between the numbers 3 and 4. Such as if an employer were to tell you that you would be paid in three days wouldn't you be upset when he comes back and says whoops you'll have to wait till day 4?

Ok if this has been answerd please let me know. I completed the quest for Whip How ever i died on the first try. I got aggroord the likes god has never seen. Anyway i get back to whip got another mission. So i finish those and at the end he unlocks my reflex cool!!! But now when i go to any one else they say i am busy with some one else. What gives ???? please help

Thunderheart the fact that people who havn't unlocked pre pub 10 are getting into the village before the people who have needs to be looked at, tisa very serious issue that us pre 10 unlockers are very angry about. Please fix as soon as pos, we dont want anymore waiting.

As critical as I am about the lack of QA on this patch - I have to say THANK YOU Thunderheart for the first post in this thread. We (the paying community) have been asking for this since release. When the typical CSR cop-out answer is, "its a known problem" and when we ask "how would we know its known since its not documented anywhere?" and the ticket is closed - we need exactly what you posted at the top of this thread. Thanks. Please continue to keep us informed of the major reported bugs and their status, just like your initial post.

Hey TH, Not sure if this is a bug or not. The Sith spawned for me this morning on the Tarquinas server. After killing them there was no loot. Should they respawn if bugged?

npc on rori not spawning for second trail... do the trails work at all???? and i cant belive i gott wait till tomorrow morning 5 am to resume providing that helps could you atleast comment on that th.....

For those of you who, like me, are having trouble with getting a working datadisk from the sith outlaws, here's how you resolve it.
First, this was my scenario: I had previously talked to the old man, and was waiting on the sith spawn to appear. I happened to be in my player city called Retribution and had whipped out my droid outside of my house to get an item out. I became aggro'd out of nowhere. I tabbed until I found the hostiles and discovered to my joy, that it was the sith outlaws. I eagerly ran over, smacked them with my powerhammer, looted the datadisk. Woohoo I thought!. I tried to "use" the datadisk and received an error saying you can't access the information on this datadisk until you have looted it. Well, since it was in my backpack, I knew that was an invalid error. So I jumped into chat with CSR and posed my problem. CSR responded and said "Just wait and the sith will attack again until you get a valid datadisk." ANother player responded and said "Just move the datadisk to your backpack or your house and then place it in your inventory again. I tried both and neither worked. Great I thought. So I just went outside of my house and stood there for a while. nothing...since work started in like 30 minutes, I decided just to leave my toon there and went and got a shower. I came back downstairs to discover that the Sith had showed up again and I killed them again. However, there was no bodies...Argh! I thought. I discovered that when I opened my quest journal that NOW I had an entry for the sith outlaws encounter and discovered that I had a new waypoint about 1.5 Km away. So I jumped on my swoop and headed to the destination. Upon reaching it, the WP disappeared on me...great I thought..bugged again. However, I became attacked by 3 other sith outlaws. Upon victory, I looted another datadisk that had the ever-sought-after wp to dath and the village of Aurilia. I hope this helps others having the same problem. Cheer!

I have the problem with my waypoint fromt the sith dissappearing. It came back and I got to teh waypoint and there's nohting there. I stood there for a while and nothing.. .I'm so angry.
