Thread: Team Comments – Diane Tiggs Migliaccio, Assistant Community Manager
Aside from sincere congratulations and a warm welcome, let me take a moment to ask you to reassure the active Roleplaying and "casual gamer" population in SWG that your own self-professed love for PvP and powergaming won't mean that our concerns will get short shrift. I'm all for having specific playstyles represented, but there are a lot of intelligent, mature posters on these boards that don't share your personal playstyle and are concerned about the direction of the game. We'd love to know that we have an open ear on your end.
Regardless, I hope that people here treat you well. Reading some of the stuff that goes on here, maybe that's too much to ask... but I hope for it all the same. hehehe

Tiggs, if you're reading this then I hope you understand that most roleplayers are not antagonistic to PvP at all. We're just frustrated with some aspects of this game and would really appreciate meaningful dialogue.
I suppose that's why I bothered posting here in the first place, aside from welcoming Tiggs. I want to make sure that this game moves forward without forgetting the people who do the most to foster a more immersive community. We have a lot to offer and all too often it seems like the game is morphing further and further into one that excludes us, whether by design or neglect.

Hey will you guys ##censored## about smugglers.
Just in case you didn't know it. Smuggler is FOTM for fs craft grinding.
(Not that any smuggler in their right mind would take fs crafting skills, when they can take persuassion (how does that affect buying faction?), or actually get some mods which they can use in combat...)
If you doubt it read this --

And at least low blow works! Try being a carbineer - they get no wookiee dev love. And that's a elite combat class (LOL - JUST KIDDING!! You hybrid elite combat dudes. I want a 35% damage slice on my krayt scatter pistol. No I only have one, what do you mean a speed slice??)

ummm...and that relates to our gimped profession how? Look, that has to do with people wanting to be jedi and trying to get there faster, it isnt actually relevant to the smuggler class itself. All smugglers want is for their skill points to mean something, and right now they really dont. Slicing is a pain in the butt and very frustrating, dirty fighting is a shell of its former self, spices are utterly worthless and do no sell anymore, underworld continues to do nothing meaningful, and above all else, one of the most iconic professions in Star Wars continues to not do what its namesake suggests...smuggle. If you can take an honest look at this class and tell me smugglers dont have a right to be upset or concerned, then could you at least provide legitmate arguments proving your point and not bring up this jedi garbage which really has nothing to do with the smugglers sharing their concerns in this and other threads.
p.s. Sorry for getting off-topic here, but the big bold print here got me a tad irrate. ![]()

Seriously Tiggs, the information we are striving for is not a rewrite of "Hints to using the forum search" or "spam guidelines". I hope you don't BS us like the rest of the troop that have been in/slightly above your position.
I hope you are here to help "US"(AKAJohnny/Sally Consumer)and are not here to continue the shadow workof the "machine" (AKA Sony Double Talk Department) {ie... "We never said combat balance or revamp or whatever it is that makes us look like we promised anything.... I mean smugglers are a great profession that has been completed since release" CHECK OUT SMUGGLER History }
I wish you the best but warn you against BSing this crowd, we have had enough snowball work to build a city of snowpeople (try that on for P.C.)!
BTW, slap Blackman when you see him for those of us who still think the pompous monkey needs to learn customer respect.
