Thread: Some Info on the European Launch
ForceMuppet: I been in here asking 4 times, all CSRs told me I will NOT be able to play on the Europeen servers with US version of the game. But the DEV post say othervise...LOL
CSR-JoseO: ForceMuppet, unfortunately the CSR was correct. You'll have to purchase the Euro version to play on the Euro servers.

I agree, the main reason for my switch to a euro server is hopefully to get away from the reboot times.
Hopefully, I have no idea WHEN the reboot times will be
Also, if more people play during my time.
Not being able to do that cause of 'server' restrictions would, be really cruddy.

Where will the servers be based?, are they based in Europe?.
If they are based in the US why all the fuss?.
Just join and play, its better playing on an established server anyway for all kinds of reasons. Advantage of Euro servers IN Europe is obviously ping times, right?.

Yes guys can we get a response. This is a bit dishearting as I own 2 copies US already and didn't ever imagine I would need to buy more to play over here. Come on tell me the bad news I can take it. I am sadly getting used to bad news with this game.

I dont believe a word of this.
Shug himself stated that you could play on every server you like. So who would you believe first? Shug or some stupid CSR?
Until a dev states otherwise officially, i believe Shug. If it turns out to be true, that would be the last drop for me, and i will cease to play this game.

Is anyone else getting a little bitannoyed that wehave recievedabsolutely no response whatsoever from the devs? Its so close to the UK launch, infact ive seen SWG available in several shops already, yet we have no idea when the servers are going live or even how many there will be.
Come on Devs, show us that someone actually does give a $#*t about the rest of the world and that you have some sort of customer service..
This lack of information is quite unproffesional .
i really cant belive that the people in charge of this are letting this type of poor customer relations continue!
Although the more i see, the more i become cynical and learn to accept it as the normal standard for SOE.
