Ulrick, i didnt mean that it could be based on profs, jsut that some people like o know what the guy may have done.
It also shows it isnt the hologrinders turn yet.

okay, I got maybe a total time of 10 hours in the wilderness, how much longer will I have to wait ? getting boring to have to play that game for nothing

Yes, but being qualified to receive the visit and being gated as to when you receive that visit are 2 different things.
Yes I have qualified but no I will not recieve a visit until the other 3 groups go ahead of me.

I just got the old man to visit me.. came back from a corvette looting trip and he appeared like 30 secs after back in the reb hideout.
I'm NOT a holoogrinder, just glowingfrom badges and stuff

My goal was to make a jedi character. I wasn't in a hurry and I was willing to do any quests, or whatever, pateintly to obtain that goal.
I didn't grind professions through the holo phase... I did which ones my holo's told me, took my time mastering them and enjoying the game. Only got 3 of them done before SOE changed the rules and announced a new system.
Fine, I told myself, I'll just do the new system. Glad for the chance to master the professions I really wanted to, I did, and waited patiently for the new improved system.
Today I find out the new system is just about waiting. I'd be in group 3 or 4 or whatever, and would have to wait months to start playing? I don't think so.
I canceled both accounts today. As a casual gamer with a job and a family I just dont have the time to sit around and do nothing while I wait to ...... grind. No thanks.

Not a big deal Vegetto and that was not directed at your note specifically, but more of a general theme I am seeing on the (now 67) pages on this post.
And I agree with you. I'd like to know what the folks have that got visited, but for those who have tons of profs, just a count would suffice I'd say. But really, I think computergamers profile is pretty much the main requirement. Oh well, I'll log back in tonight after work and see what happens.

Well I am madthat I have totake a back seat to the powergaming holowhiners ONCE AGAIN...ALL new content had been oriented towards them the geo cave, the corvette, the DWB, no casual player has a chance of trying those places out the geo cave and DWB are completelycacped by powergamers all the timei'm sick of this catering to them and this publish is no different. I am all for giving them credit and giving hologrinders FS branches for the profs completed but letting them in the village first is not fair they were all ready compensated for their grind, the devs themselves said to stop holo grinding they posted it in the forums http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=in_testing&message.id=28004#M28004take a look at what justg wrote in this thread, what he doesnt mention is that if you do stop grinding you will be punishd by being made to wait for the powergamers to finish their quests b4 u can play this awesome new content.....another swift kick in the nuts to th casual player from the devs.

But why not stop the grind right now? Just play! You are going to make it soon enough anyway, and the village is very fun!
