Since there is a large wave of players that will be going through the system, we are going to be monitoring traffic daily as players start and finish the Force Sensitive quests. When enough people have completed their path, we will open it up the village to the next group. Groups 1 – 4 will qualify for a visit when the village traffic has died down. Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.
There were 4 people in the Village last night on Kettemoor. This virtual valve seemsexcessively tight.
I'm on Eclipse and tested this when the server was copied to TC2 - the old man appeared without ANY problems within about 10-20 mins of me logging in (twice because they used an old copy of eclipse and then updated it the next day)
I logged in yesterday as soon as the server came up. I jumped a few shuttles, waited around and no old man... I spent ALL night sitting and standing outside my guild hall waiting for him and only found out mid-morning today that he won't come to you in a player city...
So I moved outside of a player city - I'm now monitoring my toon, sitting and standing in the middle of the wilderness - he's been doing it since before server reboot and he's still doing it now - over 3 hrs later...
along with doing all this (nothing) i've been monitoring both the auction channel and the planet channel - asking for sightings - to no avail.
It seems apparent to me that he ISN'T SPAWNING on eclipse.
As has been stated several times by others - I JUST WANNA START MY PATH! I need the old man so I can get to the village and see how badly things have been changed between TC and live...
It seems no-one except existing jedis can access the village - surely this is not intended? would they be so evil as to NOT implement the old man spawns? I suppose that would delay the imminent influx of jedi initiates....

So what,... he probably did 90% of it afk (If you didn't I apologize,.. but the statement is true of most who could say what you say).
You call that work? a person sets up a macro and then walks away to come back every once in a while to check there exp? I am tired of it,... this game is dead,.. I go online and in 1 hour 98% of the chat roling across my screen is from afk macroers. I agree with those who have said that this is a roleplaying game! Whats the hurry? The game isn't going anywhere,...
Seriously if I here the word grind one more time I think I will vomit,... Sure I may not level as fast as everyone else,.. and if I were interested I probably wouldn't reach Jedi for a year,.. but you know what? I can't even remotely see the point of reaching Jedi if you play like that.... Just so you can be the most powerful? What good is power if no one respects you? Most poeple I have met in game hate jedi,.. and it's not because they are so powerful, it's because they whine (with a few exceptions), they make regular players lives hell allot of the time, they ruin the roleplay experience most of the time,.... I would REALLY like it if almost every Jedi I met wasn't called Potatohead, or Sk8ter, or something else stupid like that......... and finally EVERYONE seems to want to be one,... so every one who dosen't is looking at the very real possibility that by next year 80% of those playing will be Jedi...
Then they might as well just rename the game,... ALOT OF JEDI.... AND SOME OTHER POEPLE WE DEV'SCOULDN"T GIVE A RATS BUT ABOUT.
your claim regarding might be true....but are they really hologrinding?
LOL...those spams are from merchant promoting their shops...doctors providing buffs...mind buff bots.....
If you have a bad day, blame the hologrinders....
If you have a bad mission, blame the hologrinders...
If youbuy items in cheap prices, blame the hologrinders...
Ifyou buy something too expensive, blame the hologrinders...
If not the hologrinders, we are just right...nothing areexpensive nor cheap...they are just at the right price....Welcome to theprice is right.....
Spams exist not because hologrinders...check your email accounts...grr...I've just got spammed by hologrinders!!!! or not.
A credit company just called me to sell me a new card, wait...they must be hologrinders too.
OMG....Hologrinders gotsuper afk macros that can kill rancors and stuff to getxp.Woohoo....
I can't spend as much time as the powergamers...but i demand them not to exceed my progress to jedi, my bank credits, the number of uberitems.
(the last point sounds too communism)
