TH, normally I jump on the boards, skim through posts and dev announcements, sigh, and go back to logging into the game to try to find some purpose for playing other than the purely GCW-based content that caters to the PvP crowd.

In that quest I have become a Master Artisan, Master Scout, Master Medic,Novice Entertainer, Novice Brawler, Novice Marksman, Master Armorsmith, Master Architect, soon-to-be Master Creature Handler, Novice Chef, Novice Smuggler, Novice Doctor, Novice Tailor, Novice Weaponsmith, Novice Droid Engineer, and few other novice advanced professions that got lost in the shuffle. Still, through all of these experiences, I find myself searching for some purpose to the crafting professions being something other than a simple 1st, 2nd, or 3rd tier-support mechanism for the combat-based professions. I realize I sound strangely Caella-like in a plea for a purpose, but it's only after playing the game that I've come to realize how empty and voidlike the game is when you're not a combat-based player.

However, seeing the announcement that you were selected as the Assistant Community Manager gives me a renewed sense of hope that things can change for the better. So, I wish you the best of luck in helping shape the game and serving as a conduit between the demanding and diverse community and the game developers and accountants.

Congrats TH.

P.S. I guess you survived the 'jerk' comment, eh?
