Now I can be a master of disguise. Put on one set of armor, I look like a wicker basket. Second set of armor, I look like a bantha.

BEST CASE SCENARIO:

To mirror the looted trophies aspect of Wookiees, the armor will have1 or 2 "Loot slots" in the schematic. Here the object of the armor can provide looted Horns, Feathers, Blood, Hides, etc., that can be used in the crafting of the pieces. These pieces will not only have a visual impact on the armor, but their quality will affect the armor's quality as well.

Not holding my breath, but PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!?

Will there be only one Wookie Armor or will we have a few different looks to choose from?

Seeing as the post is titled as the "second" wookie armor and suggests that a third will be coming in the SWG Newsletter, I'm leaning towards the side of being multiple armors. What do you think?

This would be a really cool time to implement "trophy loot" from mobs to be used as components.

Things like teeth, horns, claws, pelts, skulls (small),etc. Make them look like what they are though as opposed to resource containers "17 units of Dathomirian Horn" or such.

I'm still skeptical, but I was about the last one, and that ended up looking pretty good in game. I'm still curious if we're going to get armor that's at least somewhat modernized, but in the end I'll get over it if it keeps me alive. One thing that struck me as odd though...

The armor depicted here combines functional protective coverings with trophies from past hunts.

Finally, Wookiees feel that they are honored by their own deeds alone, and thus they do not care for medals or other material symbols of bravery or achievement.

I'm not trying to dwell on tiny inconsistencies, but I thought I'd point it out. If someone else has, I apologize, I really don't want to read 7 pages of posts just to find out. This is from this site...you guys should really pick one.

1) Wookies are NOT ewoks.

2) Is the Development team aware that Wookies are a technologically advanced and capable race? If so, why dress them as savages?

I prefer the direction taken by the battle padding (althought just clothing) VASTLY over this confusion between what is worn by a nature-oriented society and what is worn by savages with no knowlege of craftsmanship. Our only canon characters were a Starship Mechanic and Co-Pilot, and a background glimpse of a Senator and his entourage. Why then are we expected to believe they are akin to stone-age wariors in their personal protection?

Thankfully, no one will be required to wear either of these armors, but we all know the pattern- next we will be told Wookies (in armor) off-set the balance of the game, and the stats ofthis beloved race will get a good thwack with the Nerf bat... and frankly if I'm going to get into a melee fight with a Master Nerfer, I want my armor to at least look good!

If you don't want me to "play the forums," then I suggest you make time playing the game more rewarding and less repetitive than "playing" here!
