Since "Image Designers" are not really Entertainers, and there is a missing entertainer (Singer). How about replacing ID with "Singer" and making a new starting profession "Visual Artist".


Visual Artist - Like the other starting professions it should have 4 trees, Hairstyling Customization, Wildlife and landscape Studies, Painting, and Sculpting.


The advance professions that this new starting profession will lead to are;



  • Image Designer

  • Requirements: Visual Artist 4-0-0-0


  • Painter and/or Photographer

  • Requirements: Visual Artist 0-4-4-0


  • Sculptor

  • Requirements: Visual Artist 0-4-0-4


  • Taxidermist

  • Requirements: Visual Artist 0-4-0-0 and Scout 0-0-4-0

I agree with RaiCella, fix the other professions before fixing jedi.


I think after the big chef and droid fix, the devs should focus on all the Melee professions and Image Designers. Bounty Hunters could also use some dev love.


I also think that all combat professions should get new weapons.

Until the developers can stabilize vehicles, then this is the best thing to do. People shouldn't have to get scout skills so they can set up a camp everytime their speed disappears into thin air.

As an architect that has worked really DARN HARD to get a community of crafters in SiN CiTY Dantooine (Tempest) I can't tell you how much I seethed every single time I got into NPC structures and see art, rugs, tables, terminals, desks, etc........


There is absolutely no reason that tailors should not be making rugs and tapestries, at least from a standard template. Yes, I would like to put my own skins in but I'm realistic in a step at a time requirements. Please at least let us make the things that are already in the game! Faction furniture, armor, weapons, etc. There's just no excuse for having people buy furniture armor and weapons from a freaking recruiter!

I bet we'd see less burned out vehicles with these changes! And lower that BOOM sound please. It freaks the dogs out and they start howling!



4 Allow Cabinets, Bookcase & Dresser to actually store items.


5 Allow for Player to be able to lay down on Beds. (Maybe this would increase the Regeneration Rate on Hit Points. If in a Medical Center increase rate in recovering Wounds Damage.)


6 Allow for Mutliple players to sit down on Sofas (Large one of course)

Sure this has been suggested before but would it be possible to get a galatic date/time somewhere in the datapad? Sounds like a small thing but it would save having to find out what time zone people are in if sorting out a meeting/player event.

There's no other situation in the game where you can use FP to buy another profession's abilities. Imagine if you could go to an Imperialrecruiter and get a weapon more powerful than what Weaponsmiths could make, or armor more powerful than what an Armorsmith could make. Do you think the Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths would be very happy about that? No, they'd fight tooth and nail to prevent anyone from devaluing their invested skillpoints.


NERFHERDER TRANSLATION: Maybe if I sorta point out the fact that crafters have been screwed by faction recruiters selling better things than they can make thenno one will remember that crafters have a very limited role in GCW and have basically been looked over time and time again so l33t whiners like me can R0L3! Rank should mean something, but it shouldn't entitle you to buy another profession's core value or buy in excess of your alotted 250 skillpoints- and in this case, Imperials get to take the smuggling from the Smuggler.

That's bad game design, and I'd like to know how the Devs justify letting one profession be bought and sold as a Faction perk rather than as a skillpoint investment.


NERFHERDER TRANSLATION: How can I knee-jerk the devs? Hmm... I know! I'll use the "Bad Game Diesign" attack. It worked so well when the rebel whiners used it 24/7 to get the AT-ST's nerfed outta PvE. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Making the suggestion again, hopefully it's read.


AFK for 15 minutes at a loot drop. You get a TEF that is the same as CITYWARN of old. ANYONE can attack you. Please devs, stop the campers but don't recreate the world to do so.

Experience gained from creatures.


I understand it is capped right now because ppl have the ablity to solo just about any creature. My question is after the combat revamp I strongly suggest making a large leap in xp to harder kills such as kimos, krayts, nightsisters, jedi, etc. It is just not rewarding enough right now.

More sound: voices and music, is what needs to be added to the game to make it feel more Star Warsy.

It would add so much to the feeling to hear Jawas, stormtroopers talking, constant Star Wars-music inthe background and so on.

Lack of sound is currently a big problem!

how about the devs stop spoon-feeding the entertainers half-assed answers and actually do something about the profession?


dancers and musicians are much needed in this game. we get rid of mind wounds and battle fatigue. no one else can do that save for a master level Teras Kasi Artist, but still they need to heal battle fatigue. combat medics can heal mind damage, but their mind wounds are emmense, and they can't heal those themselves. they need dancers and musicians. entertainers are not replacable. we're sick of being ignored and taken for granted. eventually, if we get bored enough with our stagnating profession we will cease to exist as we move on to other professions. the holo-grinders will soon disappear either moving on to their next profession or, with the new jedi system being put in place, there will be no more hologrinders. there will be very few people to heal your minds and your fatigue. this affects the combat classes which outnumber everything else. you screw us over, you screw them over. didn't you want professions to be reliant on one another in some ways?


image designers are just as needed. they are becoming very rare even now. everyone wants to make their character look its best instead of looking fresh off the character creation screen. people in all classes are demanding things image designers cannot provide them. just take a look at the image design forums and their stories, or is that forum just up to appease the masses? there are stories of clients asking for things image designers couldn't give them, and things the image designers want to give their customers. i gave up image design because i got bored, it was stagnant. that is what is going to happen to image design, sooner than dancer or musician.


the devs better wake up and realize just how frustrated the entertainer classes are. sure, we don't have so many bugs, but we want the content! non-entertainers want the content! give us the content!

I have a question TH...


In both the Vehicles, and Mounts updates you guys said these were the "first" of them, hinting that we may get more vehicles and mounts at some point. Is this going to happen? When could we expect more? I'd still like to ride a Taun-Taun...

What about some kind of vehicle for Rebels? Something near-equivalent to an ATST?
